his is the third season of the Higurashi saga. In order to watch this, you don't need to go over all of the OVAs and the movie that were released between season 2 and this one. But I highly recommend to watch the first two seasons first.

Now, this season goes back to the horror genre, and we separate from the masterful Thriller aspects from season 2. We are back again to gore and blood. Some of the violent scenes are so graphic than even the uncensored version has some censorship using black squares.

This season revisits some of the arcs from previous seasons, but ...

Mixed Feelings
There is little that I can say about this story, everything happens really fast. Ikki and Stella relationship is really good and the action scenes hold to be good enough. Is a light-hearted action-romantic story that is only hurt by a promising plot that is never fully developed. Ikki however does behave like a noble hero, even from his weaknesses he always embrace what he is, and respect others for what they have worked hard for. The first and final arc of the season are really good, there is another arc that has a lot of meaning that I really enjoyed. In all ...

This Isekai, that doesnt have a lot of Isekai but we are reminded across the story that it is, can be divided in three parts across its 13, 45 minutes episodes: The first third, which is the strongest one, we are introduced to the multiple factions and characters in the story in a stream of intrigue and action sequences, I mean Magnicide is always an interesting topic. Then, we transition really weirdly into a shonen high-school romance comedy in the second act, this is where most of the story takes place, also all the goofy jokes, here is where I quickly lost interest, there are ...

This title's premise is so hilarious that I couldn't resist to watch it, why shouldn't I? it has great animation, it looks great, it sounded decent enough. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that is a Harem/Ecchi in disguise, and not even a good one have to say. Don't get me wrong, it has its moments, and adult comedy is always funny, and some of the characters are likable, sadly this is not enough to make it interesting. Touya is just way too OP, he has no personality whatsoever, all girls likes him for reasons I guess, and the plot, oh boy the plot, I ...

In this season we get three arcs, the remaining "Answer Arc" that we did not got in the first season and two other Answer Arcs that will unveil the rest of the mysteries left in the 1st season. This title has transitioned into a Thriller, leaving behind most of the blood and gore from the first season. Don't get me wrong, there are still frightening and intense scenes, but now they are used to add to the Suspense, it is not as graphic as before.

The MC role has changed from Keiichi to Rika, who is a more interesting character. The Supernatural still plays a ...

Hundred (Anime) add
This is one of them Mecha titles from recent years that were a complete disappointment, is not even original as it plays and feels so much to Infinite Stratos that seems a remake of that fiasco... with the exact same issues. The main character motivation is his sick sister that is transfer to a military hospital in exchange for him to join the ranks, thats it, so simple that is boring. The story plays like a harem without the jokes, and boy it needs some. The story is a mess on its simplicity, aliens are attacking, a special squad is deployed, the MC is OP ...

This title is probly one of the most terrifying stories ever brought to anime, and its secret is not in the horror or gore itself (which has plenty) but in the high intensity of suspense that is build on before it. Season 1 is structured in a way that is hard to understand for a first time viewer because is divided into five arcs, 3 of them "Question Arcs" in which we are told the story from the MC perspective, and 2 "Answer Arcs" when we experience it from another character perspective, not everything is what it seems. At the start of each arc, the ...

This story is divided in two parts, the first one comes hard on nudity, silly jokes and other ecchi elements. In the second part the Supernatural takes place leaving the ecchi elements in the background, and here is where this title really shines. It turns a bit dark, the story takes some layers of depth and the characters turn a bit more complex. All of it in a light way. Lisara is by far the most complex character of this story, and drives the tone of the storytelling, her interactions with Ryosuke have different shades and they together never get boring. The anime has 12 ...

I am not sure how to completely feel about this title, the reason being is that the story doesn't go anywhere, there are some notable exceptions but overall follows the same rinse and repeat formula across most of its episodes. I kinda of knew it because the manga is exactly like that and I am up to date with that story, kinda of hard to make it work on anime for mass audiences. However, animation and graphics are really good, very funny situations and interactions among main and secondary characters, the music/score fits perfect with the world and the situations, is clearly one of the ...

This production was very popular but somehow its legacy has not endured long enough, probly because of its controversial ending and how different it was to the manga’s. It is an adult story with moe design, and brings a good mix of comedy and drama. It is also gruesome and bloody, and action packed from beginning to end. The story also takes a lot of risks, and in my opinion all of them worked. The two main characters, Akame and Tatsumi, are very likable, their character development is on point, they are never dull or boring, and they exchange the spotlight across the story. But, ...
