first things first. an all-female anime? YES PLEASE. i was very happy to see an all-female cast for this that involved them all working in a game-esque environment. it was just nice to not see a creepy male co-worker or the one male character in the office surrounded by women.
this anime is really cute and i think that it's pretty nice to show what work-life is really about; at least when you love what you do for work that is. i like how the characters are all different from one another despite working on the same game.

i am quite surprised that none of my anime-loving friends have mentioned this anime, especially since it came out last year. this has been like a breath of fresh air with all of the fantasy-based stuff i've been watching.

i have a strong love for "i got reincarnated as ____" type of anime. this one also did not fail to disappoint. something about the concept of a higher something taking control and turning people's lives into a video game level-up system is very humorous to me. it also helps that the characters know about it, almost like a break in the 4th wall.
i think there's a lot of good to this anime; like how it was a whole group of people to get reincarnated instead of just one person. and the fact that there is a bigger picture as to how and why ...

the first five minutes of episode one are basically irrelevant. apparently, a robot otaku died and got reincarnated in this other(?) world. honestly, the reincarnation isn't explained at all and it took me a few episodes to realize that's what happened, as the main character has no recollection of this past life. it kind of just seems... thrown out there that the main character ended up being reincarnated. like if this series just started in this world with the same exact fantasy-main character it would've taken the exact same path. normally, i like robot/mech anime. but this was just... something else and not in a ...

this anime is basically just naruto, demon slayer, and parasyte mixed all into one and it's pretty good. there aren't really "filler" episodes like naruto, the fighting and art isn't /as/ good as demon slayer, but the "parasite" feel is definitely there.

i seem to have a soft spot for anime that takes place in a game of sorts. so this was right up my alley. i was scared for a moment that this was going to be a heavily-romantic comedy, but i was delighted when i saw that it was just comedy.

so. the initial genre i saw for this show was "romance" and looking at the cover art of the show, i really wouldn't have guessed it. even throughout the first few episodes i was sitting and going "how is this a romance? it's a bunch of mechs fighting lol" but as i got deeper into it, it really did turn into a romance. not even with people falling for people, but the people falling in love with the world around them and the life they /could/ have.

when i started watching this i was completely lost. halfway into the first episode, i had to double-check to make sure there wasn't a previous movie or show that i was missing. the anime was really confusing at first, a bunch of information is thrown at you and it's kind of confusing.

i really had my hopes up for this anime. reading a lot of the comments surrounding this anime i saw that a lot of people thought that it was a good anime. so i added it to my list. i only now just got around to watching it.
