First of all HAGANAI is not the classic harem maybe fits better the definition of Harem deconstruction and school growth, besides that four things, explain this work for me and maybe fits well as light summary
FIRST: Mixed feelings
SECOND: perfect example of how a battle between the author and editor can destroy a work.
THIRD : writing two pieces at the same time especially the end of one while you are starting another is not a good idea
FOURTH: good ideas bad execution at the end
First, I have to say that I first watched the anime then I started de LN from the beginning
The anime
...
always brings back really good feelings and the LN too until the last 2 volumes. I will not make spoilers but I have to say that most of the things that take place in those 2 volumes through away everything.
STORY:
The story is quite interesting and a bunch of people without friends looking for something they don't have,( A family, a true friend, self-confidence...)
Everyone looks for something different, here starts all the relations between them, for the sake of that the pacing is quite slow sometimes but fits with the spirit of the LN.
And here comes the problem, the last chapters of Vol 10 and especially 11 which fit one year in one volume, rush up everything and come with a ton of things that I cant understand.
I can accept that the final idea of the author was the ending he wrote but the way everything comes to an end is poorly explained, you can find contradictions here and there even in the final decisions of some characters. Everything mixed destroys the spirit of the LN.
Here you can come with the typical excuse of many LN and mangas -you have the dotS you only have to join them-, no men you fail at the end simply as that
ART
Very good art all the illustrations are top for me not much to say about that.
CONCLUSION
As I have said until volume 9 everything was ok, then last chapters of volume 10 and the entire volume 11 breaks all the good memories the anime and the first 9 volumes bring to me every time I think about this work
As i have firstly said deconstruction fits well and the growth through school too but the way the work reaches those two goals is by far not the best one having in fact contradictions whit somethings that happen at the end.
For me, all the problems come with the battle the author had with his editor, and the starting of inmouto... the new LN he was starting at the moment he was writing the end of Hagenai

Slight spoiler review
Irozuku is kind of slice of life-drama, with some romance? With an expected ending if you watch anime regularly, and few touching moments.
The main line is the personal growth but....the idea is good, the thing about Hitomi and her monochromatic vision mixed with time travel is original but the way they made it is unsatisfying and the reasons are...CHARACTERS AND PLOT.
There is no development of any character except Hitomi and the main guy and is very poor, I mean she changes but I can't believe it, just a few moments during a couple of weeks maybe a month I can't remember;
...
and a romance (poorly develop romance based on the art of the guy)and I have to believe that it is enough to change the personality of a person after 16 years.
And the second problem but the most important of the show; the rest of the cast give zero to you, a few minutes of each one. The shy girls remain as the shy girl, without confronting her feelings. The megane girl only has 5 minutes during the show. The president is null only introduce in order to try some kind of love triangle.
Kohaku is the only one that has some strength on her personality and the only one i really care about between the secondary cast.
Chigusa is only used to make some jokes and a couple of deep sentences.
And the main guy who is the only who at the end has changed but as it happens with Hitomi you have to accept because the romance that i have to say it again is a very poorly developed romance.
The Plot
The idea is quite interesting, but I have the feeling that the show doesn't exploit all the ideas, they drop the slice of life moments, the drama, the HItomi problem and the romance but neither of them has true power except for the last 3 episodes where the romance and the drama I have to admit that have a very touching moments (moments not the entire episode), but few moments at the last 3 episodes for a 13 episodes show its pretty vague. The ending of the show is the expected, logical and giving the conclusion they want during all the show.
In conclusion, is a nice show with a nice premise but remains all the series with the same problem not enough development of any of her ideas or characters.

Good manga but...that is the feeling i have
The art without being of my favourites its good enough not excellent but well made.
The characters,
The main characters are good developed maybe a little bit longer it could be better, what i feel its that some things get dropped but not resolved, but at least they struggle with their feelings in a good way.
...
the supporting characters are very poor. The mangaka leaves some ideas about them but never develops anything and only use them to fill, at least two of them.
Plot
The idea is quite interesting and some of the feelings during the story are well driving but the way the manga comes to an end look pretty vague it's only i can say without making any spoiler. And the way some other things are resolved are mehh.
After being building some ideas the mangaka just leave everything *even in the epilogue* like just imagine, and that its for me the biggest problem of the manga., a lot of things could be better developed

FREE SPOILER REVIEW
The word for this show is Disappointment. The new Evangelion, super duper, blah, blah... the truth is that I only feel something at the beginning of the show. The lore, ideas and baits dropped, were interesting, but then I think after 9 or 10 episodes maybe less maybe more, everything turns to the very wrong direction.
A mix of battles, baits, and kids discovering themselves with a superficial touch, not deep enough, by far not deep enough.
Another problem; episodes trying to explore characters but failing into the attempt, looks like they just want to remember us that besides Hiro and Zero Two
...
exist another bunch of people. But half episode or few moments are not enough, you have to do it all along the show.
And the annoying thing about Hiro and Zero two, separated, together, separated, together, this way till the end at least 3 or 4 times I cant remember.
And the end of the show just another disappointment..., don't worry my friend no spoilers here.
At the 16-17 episode, I already knew that the end will be rushed, why? just watch those episodes and you will realize knowing that the show counts with 24 episodes, that the end will be not good enough. You want more, they have it for you; with 5 episodes left and one of them is about one character, WTF!
Yeah!!! explore a character during the shows is not the thing, the thing is if you do it in one episode at the end of the show, just to expose ideas everybody knows about but appears as a big revelation.
You want more of the end of the show, you have it; rushed, confusing and with that Tengen Toppa plot twist (which everybody knows about) disappointing battles trying to look epic and kind of fanservice happily ever after with a slightly bittersweet touch, but happy because is happy men.
As I have said, DISAPPOINTED, maybe with more episodes, 5 or 6 more, they could have explored the characters better, maybe they could have made a less rushed end, I don't know, what is clear is we are not in front of the anime of the year not even one on top15.

Really almost 8, i barely understand this.
SPOILERS ARE COMING!!!!!
So you are nerdy girl, then you change your appearance and few scenes later you are being drugged and forced, but this is H-read so you enjoy it instead of end the day with a trauma.
You fall in love with your raper, not ridicolous and dangerous idea its normal (sarcasm on)
...
Later you decide play the escort role but everything turns on fucki... with a fat ass you have just meet, not disgusting at all, he has a big D, its amazing ohhhh forgive me boyfriend kun, really?! Another Hentai common and dangerous plot.
The dad chapter it is ridiculous (like everything in this Hentai). Your father rapes you, but again instead of a logical consequence, you enjoy the fuck and the abuse turns on your average day with a lot of pleasure of course.
Meanwhile you turn into the school whore, because you don't have any trauma (like every women/men in the world would have with a long past of abuses)
Next thing; your mother decides that you are a whore and kicks you out the house; Why? because you have seduced your own father (offff courseeee), so the deal is moving to your boyfriends house; start your career as a prostitute and enjoy your new happy life.
The rest of the manga it's basically, drugs, people abusing her, more drugs more abuse, 0 response to these things, more drugs more abuse, 0 response again and finally OH MY GOD WHAT I HAVE Turned ON?! And die because of an overdose
The thing is that is not only an awful manga, is bad H-manga too, 0 development of the protagonist. The idea is use a lot of hard and tragic scenes and a very tragic ending in order to impress and looks like you have a message, NOOOO you don't have any message you are a typical H-manga with a very dangerous concepts, nothing else.
