The unwanted undead adventurer (what a name) is a pretty chill show, and despite its shortcomings, its something that anyone can enjoy because of its writing and character representation.
Animation:
Certainly not the best animation around or of the season, but it certainly does the job. For what its worth, its pretty fancy when the fighting gets exciting, but in general its pretty fitting of the show. There are some hiccups every now and then, but they aren't that bad and are negligible at best.
Visuals:
the scenery is pretty nice in all of the places Rentt goes through, even if some are mundane

or just shops, the level of detail in each one is pretty nice, the places look pretty lived in. There are also peeks of common life in the show, butchering shops, smithies, the works and they are all very much welcomed in a show where adventuring is the main subject.
Soundtrack:
Actually very good, pretty medieval but the show is set in that type of setting, so nothing to complain about. Its not much to write home about either, but its certainly appreciated, as it fits the different scenes quite well.
Story:
The main catch of the story is very nice and although it is slow in parts, the evolutions keep it fresh and the different ways Rentt has to dodge his circumstances is fun to watch. The ending specifically gets bonus points from me, as it leaves room for another season. Additionally, the message of hope throughout the show is very nice and pretty refreshing in this type of anime category, Rentt first and foremost is a human, he isn't an emotionless bastard that slays everything in his path and gets what he wants. He works very hard for his achievements and shows that with hard work comes great reward.
Closing statement:
The show is chill, that's pretty much about it, very nice to watch anytime with some snacks or perhaps some friends, I thoroughly recommend it if you want a relaxing adventure that doesn't stick its neck out and get beheaded in the process.

Usually, I like to do my reviews in more categories, but this anime is too special for that, and I will focus on only two things, those being:
Soundtrack:
From start to finish, this entire series has a soundtrack that fits it better than any other anime out there. Even if it does tend to repeat itself, the melodies and chimes you will hear throughout will charm you, or sadden you to the point where you are on the verge of tears. I cannot put in to words how amazing it was to experience this soundtrack, along with the:
Story:

me dissecting it, or trying to explain what it meant, or what it's about I will only say this. One of the main reasons I enjoyed this from start to finish was because I saw the characters grow up so much. I love this in any media, seeing people grow, and come to adulthood, it is something beautiful and worth seeing every time. The first Clannad was good too, but seeing After Story, with Clannad still fresh in my mind, has quite literally broken me. Only to preface, I am not a person that cries, at all in fact. I do not like to cry, so I steer far away from it. However, this show has sent me to tears only half way through. Seeing what happened to the characters that were built upon in Clannad is soul crushing. Even if I don't particularly resonate with any of them, their stories and struggles are relatable, and extremely sad, but they feel real.
I don't like to repeat myself, but I cannot put into words how much I loved this story. Sure, some people find it confusing, and truthfully it is at times, but that just doesn't take away from it. It is something extremely special, that I have not seen anywhere, and probably never will. An experience such as this will at times resonate with you, make you laugh, or crush your heart into pieces. Even if it is sad though, I strongly recommend that you watch it, but not before watching Clannad. If you have more context from that show, you will have a much better understanding of the characters right off the bat, and you will also grow to cherish them, which is a good and bad thing, depending if you like to cry your eyes out.
Closing statement:
Truthfully, I knew of this series a long time ago, but I refused to watch it, simply because I knew it was going to be sad. However, I have learned that life is sometimes full of sadness, yet, if you can look past the tears, you will find that the world is beautiful, and filled with opportunities at any turn. I heavily recommend it, thanks for reading.

'Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?'
The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is most definitely a good series, but in some aspects, it is flawed, especially when it comes to a certain part of the story, that people do not seem to enjoy at all. However, if you can look past that, I'm sure you will find something quite special.
Before reading this review, keep in mind that this is a review of the whole series, excluding the movie, because a certain loop has given me enough of this series, for now, at least.
Animation:
The animation in this show is stellar, especially since

it was made in 2009, it is very well done in most aspects, and it has not disappointed me for the whole run. While yes, it is in the old art style of anime, you might not even notice it because of how smooth it is at most times, especially in action scenes.
Visuals:
Since it was made in 2009-2010, the visuals are indeed a bit dated, but that doesn't mean they are bad. The effects move cleanly, and the action scenes this anime has are filled with very nice visuals throughout. Outside of that, it is your run of the mill slice of life in terms of visuals, nothing to write home about, but certainly not something that will hurt your retinas.
Soundtrack:
Just like the animation, the soundtrack is amazing, because even if this show is very strange most of the time, the soundtrack manages to fit all of those strange or unexplained moments perfectly. It is snappy, cheery, mysterious, and everything in between, when it needs to be, that is. I haven't really listened to the OP and outro's just yet, but judging by the songs in the shows, I'm sure they are well made.
Story:
It is about time we start with the story, and why I used that certain quote at the start of the review. In the first season, the show has a very nice pacing, and the story is easy enough to follow, even though it is sometimes very strange in its explanations. However, this all changes with the second season, and with a very specific arc, that lasts 8 entire episodes, rather fittingly. If you know anything about the show, it is probably this, as it is very infamous among fans, but if you do not I will not spoil it here, as even though I don't think its good, I do not wish to spoil it. That said, I am on the 'this arc is bad' side, solely because at one point, I had to skip to the ending of the episodes, and you will understand why when you get there. But, even if I do not like it, the show is still manages to be entertaining afterwards, however, if I had to wait for these episodes to come out, and I got to watch the same thing again, expecting things to change, the overall rating would have been much lower, so I can understand why some fans are that annoyed by it.
Closing statement:
The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is a strange and sometimes hilarious journey, but if you are not the patient type, I suggest you steer well away from it. That said, if you want a show that has a very unique idea, or a slice of life combined with different other genres, then I suggest you give it a go, as you might not find something like this anywhere else!

'You'll find it, someone precious, whose heart you can trust, as you walk together in life'
Nanatsu no Taizai: Mokushiroku no Yonkishi is a show that is heavily underrated, a hidden gem, that builds upon the series from which it came from, Nanatsu no Taizai, quite well.
Before reading this, keep in mind that I have only watched the first two seasons of Nanatsu no Taizai, and I enjoyed it, but I know full well of how mistreated the show was from that point onwards, so I may understand why this show was swept under the rugs of many. However, one should not be swayed by the

poor handling of Nanatsu no Taizai, and really give this show a try.
Animation:
The animation of this show does its job, it does what it sets out to do, and it does it quite well. Percival, the main character, for example, is the most animated character in the entire cast, as its clearly a part of his cheery personality. While other characters have basic animation, there are moments in the show where the animation really kicks into gear, mostly important story moments.
Visuals:
While the visuals are not mesmerising, like with Demon Slayer, or Violet Evergarden, they are pretty good, especially in the first 4 episodes. It is as clear as day that there was tons of effort put into the visual design, as every character feels distinct, with their own unique personalities, to the point that even the villagers have this aspect too. On the magic side, this still stands, as every magic type seems unique, and tied to character that owns it, especially Percival's, it fits him perfectly. However, this is probably carried over from Nanatsu no Taizai, as I distinctly remember liking the different types of magic in that show too.
Soundtrack:
The soundtrack really hits honestly, its everything it needs to be, when it needs to be. For example, at one point it can be cheery and adventurous, but in a split second, it changes into dark, and mysterious. It is far from the perfect soundtrack, and the OP really hasn't grabbed my attention in anyway, but the first outro is pretty catchy, for what its worth.
Story:
From what I've watched (13 episode as of writing this) The show has not stopped being entertaining for a second. Its a story that is really easy to follow, but also leaves some mystery for us to discover while we watch. It has plenty of emotional roller coaster scenes too, so if you are into that, I highly recommend it solely because of these, as they can hit you pretty hard. Aditionally, the shows main message ( which I'm not going to spoil) is very welcomed, especially since it does not feel forced at all.
Closing statement:
Combining everything together, Nanatsu no Taizai: Mokushiroku no Yonkishi is an experience that is worthwhile, even if you have not previously watched Nanatsu no Taizai, but if you have, it is nice to see that show's characters again, especially since a lot of time has passed between the shows. If you are looking for something that is positive, colorful, and creative, this show is for you, and I highly recommend it, as it has revitalized my passion for anime. It is not life changing, but in a sea of new and diverse ideas, this show feels like how anime used to feel. Fresh, exciting, and most importantly, fun.
