This manga, I think the overall concept for the storyline was good, but it was not carried out correctly. The characters like Chou and Kei seem to be one dimensional, fitting into well known manga archetypes. What really bothered me about this manga, was the fact that the mangaka does not go into depth about the background of the story, its just "oh Chouko's parents are dead, oh she's living with Kei, oh she's happy now. It's like they go through 2 years in about a chapter and a half. Once this, is over with the pace of the manga turns in the exact opposite ... direction, becoming slow and almost unreadable. Overall the idea behind the manga seemed to hold potential, but the plot development and characters brought it down immensely. I would not recommend this manga.

I really hated the artwork on this, and also, why are all the gangsters portrayed wearing converse/vans!! That just really bothered me, (Those companies make really cool shoes) The plot was mediocre and predictable. Meh, overall not a very good manga

The overall concept was very innovative, but after the story continues it grows into a very predictable plot line, but i suppose all shoujo mangas are.

Character: 7

There are some character's who are wonderfully developed in this, but others i wish would have more complex emotions towards them. Take for example, Yuiko, she is the main protagonist, yet her feelings revolve around Leo, so therefore we have little time to really understand her character.

Enjoyment: 9

... This manga was very enjoyable, good for a short read.

The overall appeal of this is manga, is an 8. The story was enjoyable, but it was not complicated, nor very intriguing, this subtracting from the overall appeal of the manga itself. The art though was superb, and quite detailed. When Leo was in his "beast" mode, the depiction of his face was quite scary, while on other times his facial expressions could be quite vulnerable and cute.
