honestly.. what the Fuck was this.

gonna start of with something not so negative, the art. it was okay, i didnt like it but its probably the only decent thing about this manga.
now moving on.. story: girl who lost her father now has nowhere to go but a boys baseball club dormitory bc her dad was an alumni there and has a friend thats a coach there. yeah.. pretty fuckin stupid from the start. doesn't she have any relatives? this guy was the only friend her father had? cant she stay at his House? doesnt get any better

than that, she gets harassed as soon as she joined the house, a guy kissed her, one of them asked what cup size she is, and then she does Aaaall the house chores without any help, basically a (non paid)maid there because...? shes a girl? lol???? but they stopped because she cried and then they threw a party !!! yayy problem solved!! oh also the guy that kissed her earlier was the one who planned this party!! he's suuuuch a nice guy, what a great male lead <33
they had this climax drama where the ml was a pitcher with a lot of expectations and pressure for him but got injured before a match so he feels guilty for "making them lose the match", his teamates feel bad for him but they didnt do shit lol no affermation words like "hey its ok man" "lets practice tgt:)" (they didnt even practice at All after this lmfao couldnt even call this a baseball club anymore. or a club at all honestly) no nothing since this drama exists solely so the female lead can pity him and "help" him.
story sucked, drama sucked, comedy sucked, romance sucked, this manga sucked. dont recommend it at all but if you want to check it out go ahead its only 3 chapters lol

just finished the manga, so many emotions are bubbling up inside me right now i just had to review this
ah.. where to even start. i was very much enjoying and invested in this manga, i had given it a 8/10. Had, past tense. now its at a 5.. by that you'll know that this wont be a positive review, but since i really did love this manga until a certain part ill start off with something positive
id give the art a 8/10: its good, expresses scene's really well, i dont think i have any sort of problem with the art.

complicated and not, they're handled really well. the characters really do feel real, they dont give up nor forgive so easily. they get angry, they get sad, frustrated at very much valid reasons. they make problems, they hurt others, they try to resolve them, they regret, they grow, they Feel humane.
positive things done ! i would've gone on much much more but right now i can only go on about the negative part so .. here it is: the "incest stuff" are pretty uncomfortable.
spoiler !! -----they're not actually related but ?? that doesnt change the fact that theyre siblings lmfao, she also lost all of her feelings for kai at the end. why? how? because she remembers that she loved her brother? shit was so rushed at the few last chapters compared to how well paced this manga was before it. really disappointing honestly, i thought i found an underrated gem and
i honestly dont know how or what to rate this. it was very much an 8 before that last part. both characters and story. the last part felt like it just threw all of those off. the ending is shit but i cant deny how good this was before that ending, ill just settle with a 5. definitely read the manga if you're curious, im leaving a negative impression on it because i despised the ending, but besides that it was great.

this was such a nice manga to read. nothing special, but it was very nice and enjoyable.
all of the characters were absolutely loveable. from the main couple, to the other 2 side characters. the romance worked and the light hearted comedy balanced it well. i honestly can't believe on how well they made this work with such little amount of chapters. it was (i think)originally a one shot which was already nice on its own which says a lot on how its going to be with 7 chapters.

definitely give this a shot. it only has 7 chapters so even if you dont like it you wouldn't waste a lot of time

a story where a girl who tried to lose her colour gets coloured by a boy she just met.
to explain it more, our main girl is a lonely, shy, person. she has a hard time interacting and trusting people because of a certain thing that happened in her past. but this very much loved by all transfer student notices that, took an interest in her.
story 4/10: it was pretty intriguing at first, i like how the author did the naration. careful and meaningful choice of words, it was lovely. but it ended up getting carried in such a generic and cliche way. a lot

of un-needed complications that were solved really fast too. they only last for about 4 pages lmao i also hated that ending. ill explain it in the end of this review so you dont have to read it if you dont want to get spoiled.
characters 5/10: main girl was pretty good at first but turned to something cliche real fast. she's forgiving, she's kind, she isn't angry often etc, main guy is also really boring. he's hot, prince like, kind, what more do you need? there's absolutely no flaw in them and i think that's quite a problem because flaws are important too.
art 6/10: it was an above average art. it was good but i dont think there was anything special or great about it.
now to the part where i said i hated the ending, (spoiler ofc)
main girl asked the guy to break up after they graduated because ???? i dont even understand. she said "we have our own things that only we can do, we should focus on that" girl what the fuck do you mean. long distance relationships are a thing. and your guy didnt even wanna do whatever "only he could do". but in the end they meet, and gets a happy ending together. of course. so why did that even happen ??? them spending time away from each other only lasted a few panels so why did it even happen.
overall i enjoyed this manga .. i guess. do i regret reading this manga? no. am i grateful that i did? also no. i think that sums up on how i enjoyed this manga. personally wouldn't recommend it but if you want to read it then i wouldn't advise you to not to either

you know those manga promotional videos on youtube? where they get a few panels of the manga and have seiyuu's voice the characters? thats what this anime feels like. it feels like a promotional video, not an anime.
if i were to judge this as a manga promotional video, id say that this was pretty good. it had comedy, the voice acting was nice, and it visually delivered something the manga would give. but im judging this as an anime, and sadly those points doesn't really apply here.
a lot of people are critiquing this for the animation and i absolutely agree with them. the manga

feels like they have better animation and they dont even move for fucks sake. it doesn't feel like "animation" so i dont even feel like watching an anime. the comedy also mostly falls flat because of those. the sounds are the only good thing here. seiyuu's definitely carried this lmfao.
overall i decently enjoyed this, i chuckled a few times but compared to the manga this is just disappointing. definitely recommend any of you to check out the manga. way better experience than this

absolutely enjoyed this anime but it eventually got pretty disappointing every next episode.
art 9/10. never imagined it would be this good honestly. presented skating really greatly. showed us various different angles from a 3rd person view to something you'd see if you were a camera attached to the skateboard itself. really fucking good.
sound 8/10: voice actors seriously brings the characters to life. love them lots. every sound effect fits what their supposed to voice as very well. the bg music that plays on each scenes are also well placed, always love and anticipate them on every duel especially.
characters 6/10: very generic but they're fun

and loveable. main group consists of your flirty macho man, loud big guy, calm cool guy, tsundere catboy, cheerful loud guy and his calm genius bestfriend. nothing rly special abt them, no great character writing or character growth, just loveable silly characters. the antagonists in this was an overly dramatic guy. i found him a bit laughable so he wasn't really threatening to me. his backstory was kind of sad ig but i couldnt take it seriously because of how weird ? overdramatic? odd? his character is.
story 4/10: it was pretty nice at first. main guy teaches his friend on how to skateboard and it included various scenes on how he fails and such. though there wasn't much of that because he has the genius trope lol. loved the fun slice of life with the characters just goofing around too. now to what made me give this a 5, it had a drama that was dragged on for way too long that they closed off really easily and nothing came out of it, characters' issues were just ended in the last ep which made their whole issue just . really pathetic.
enjoyment 9/10: mostly because of the loveable characters and great animation. it was genuinely a really fun show to watch. just really disappointed in that ending ep honestly.

if you haven't watched the original series yet and isn't sure if you wanna watch it, i recommend watching this first to see if it suits your enjoyment. it basically captures what most episodes are like, the characters' personalities, the story, and how they present it.
if you Have watched the series then its honestly just like any other episode.

a breathtaking dream. this was what the movie felt like to me.
first quarter of the movie was pretty simple. *first quarter*. you have your main character ruka who is struggling with her relationships both at home and at school. she goes to her father's workplace, the aquarium, a place she's always took interest and peace in and she meets an energetic boy there, umi. she quickly learns that umi isn't exactly "normal" as apparently he was found with his brother, sora in a beach and was said to be raised by dugong's so they had to be in water a lot.

1 to a 50 to a 100 to a full fucking thousand after that. it went from kids and the ocean to meteors, a sea festival, to quantum shit, to the full fucking universe. crazy shit. didnt understand a single thing after that first quarter but it was still an incredible experience. the art is gorgeous and i think we can all agree on that. there was a few cgi used which i usually hate but it didnt bother me at all here. every scene is absolutely stunning. from the big important events to little scenes. complemented by beautiful, fun, and exciting soundtracks that just makes the experience of watching this movie even more amazing. truly wonderful.
i think i could've given this a 9 if i understood shit more but my braindead head was just not made for this lmao i also didn't feel any incredible character/personality presentation, though i think i Could if i paid more attention. there are also a lot of symbolism in this movie which i wish i would've paid more attention to as i only realised that now
overall experience was great. didnt understand half of the shit while watching and still dont now but it was still great. and like i said, it was like a dream. a confusing weird and enjoyable dream which ill still be thinking about for a few days now.

started watching this when it had about 4 eps and i already had a review planned for it then but i thought "ive only watched 1/3 of the series, i should probably see more to have my final thoughts" and spoiler alert, not much changed.
story 4/10: as average as it gets. this has your basic "mc that has never beat his rival, will he finally get a chance to do that now in his new team?" shit and they do it in such a mediocre way. you couldve taken 7 episodes out and nothing wouldve rly changed lol. never got

excited once this whole show since the build up was so weak. though they ended it in an okay way, it was predictable but it was a decent ending.
character 2/10: theres unnecessarily a lot of them, and most of them were useless too. main cast was all so arrogantly prideful that i couldn't even like any of them. hell i only got to like 1 character and he's supposed to be the showy, silly, annoying one. other teams besides the main and rival one had no contribution to the plot at all, their coach did absolutely nothing until the very last ep where he finally gave advice and it was only 1 minute lmfao.
art 5/10: decent, the skating choreograph was decent, character design was decent, everything is just decent. nothing good but nothing bad either
sound 5/10: same as the art, the music they used a lot of famous piano pieces so that was kind of lazy on their part. op is pretty catchy tho ngl
enjoyment 5/10: i only watched this because it was an ongoing show and it only had 4 eps at the time i watched it, and it continued to be like that. just watched it because it was ongoing, not because i was interested or bc i liked the show. never rly felt excitement from any episodes except the last one but it was only bc its was the last ep, meaning it'll end lmao.
wouldn't really recommend this show to anyone. it was a boring waste of time and almost unbearable to watch because of the cast of unlikeable characters. if you still wanna watch it go ahead, i cant rly stop you though i recommend checking out other (skating) shows, im sure there are better ones

not a fan of recap episodes but this was a p good one.
they did it in a fun way to watch with 2 characters (miya and shadow) commentating on a video of the past episodes and they did recap all the important stuff that happened, fav/funny moments, characters relationships, etc. stuff you'd expect from a recap ep, nothing special.
art and sound(except for the voice over) was all taken from previous eps so cant rly comment on that part
if you're not really looking to get into sk8/dont wanna watch the past 9 eps but is interested in how the show basically is/how it ends this

is a good recap and you can just watch the next 3 eps to finish it
