what a corny plot, sign me up.
that being said, there was a section where i found kang taemoo absolutely repulsive despite his oh so hot visuals. however, this kind of manhwa should be read without any kind of critical thinking which is why i still came around to give it an overall rating of eight. shin hari's situation is very relatable and i could see why she went around the situation in the manner she did. second couple stole it for me. i adored how their story progressed and (debatable) could be better than the main leads.

overall a good read that may annoy you from time to time. compared to the negative comments about the fl (heewon) in the reviews, i sympathize with her and and understand how her past influenced many of her decisions in the story. ml (doojoon) is such a genuine character from start to finish. however, this might not be the best choice to read after daytime star.

This is a straightforward manhwa with no unnecessary drama or major plot twists. Slice of life and fluff to the max.
It puts a new meaning to what true love is. Hwang Yura’s character development was beautifully paced. Her slow rise to stardom was exhilarating to experience after reading what she’s been through and how she got to where she is now. Kang Seunghyun is mature, understanding, patient (debatable) throughout the story. If “she fell first, but he fell harder” was a manhwa, Daytime Star embodied it magnificently.
