Episode 7, and I must say, this is a good one. By far the most shounen, shounen anime we got in the past years. There is a power system, the attacks have names, and everything, and the characters are extreme too. I see potential for some good romance too. The animation is great, and the fighting is engaging. I gave this a chance while eating launch, and I didn't have much expectations despise hearing good stuff about the manga, and... well, it took the length of 7 episodes for me to eat my lunch. Totally worth it. In the new generation, dominated by Shounen like

This one is fun. Fans of The World God Only Know, in particular, are going to love this series. I've seen many call it a parody of harem, but I don't see it. Is not parodying or deconstructing anything about harems... but is pure comedy. The main character is very likable for this genre - he is a normal guy, but also an absolute chad, who is fast to notice things and understand the girls, which spares us of pointless misunderstandings. He is also in love with the idea of being in love and does everything to be a good BF. The girls are also
...
great. Each is generally built on a trophy - the tsundere, the thirsty one, the shy one, the kuudere nerd, the savant loli, etc. - but at the same time, they are not flat. They have personalities, and each has her baggage - they really remind me a lot of VN girls.
This is a pure harem anime, where all the girls love the MC, and they work together to make things... work. There is no melodrama, and obviously, nobody is going to lose here. So in that regard, this is a relaxing one to watch. Its strength is the comedy that is born from their interactions and the absurdity of it all. At first is funny, but later it goes absurd - is peak anime comedy, and is going to give a bit of nostalgia to those who have been into anime since the 2000's or at least 2010's. There is fanservice too... fortunately - it would be a waste to not have any with such scenario - but is not an ecchi anime, so the lewdness is in good taste... thou, I for one, look forward to the doujinshi - episode 5 set the groundwork for some NTR ones, but I am also expecting a lot of vanilla - let's hope some good hentai mangaka develops a passion for this strong enough to make it an episodic series U U ... The art is great. The characters have good design, they are adorable, the animation is also very fluid, and overall they seem to have had a good budget manager, because 7 episodes in, and I see no drop in quality. The sound is nothing to write home about. But the voice actors are top-tier, and they all seem to have a blast working on this series, especially the narrator. Overall, this is a very solid series to watch for those who want to laugh, and for those looking for some good ol' school anime romance, full of the trophies of good ol' VN's romance.

For some reason (most probably to fill the void created by my own loneliness TT TT), I end up reading a lot of shoujo manga. Shoujo romance manga, in particular, is a guilty pleasure and a great mystery for me. It's a mystery because I don't think any other genre, form of art, or literature is as forgettable as most of the shoujo romance manga on the market. I dislike reading ongoing shoujo manga, especially if it's released monthly, because I tend to forget most of the plot by the time the next chapter comes out. In fact, if I haven't thought about it for
...
3-4 months and stumble upon it on the internet, even though I know I had read it before, it's astonishing how everything about it is erased from my memory.
However, even within the shoujo romance genre, there are some beautiful gems that I can't forget, such as "Taiou no Ie" or "Akatsuki no Yona." Despite the fact that many shoujo mangakas produce subpar work, they occasionally manage to create something extraordinary. This is the case with Akasaka Aka, the author of the manga I'm discussing. While it's not shoujo, it falls under the romance genre, which often falls victim to clichés when in the hands of the wrong author. Story: 9 "Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen" follows the story of two exceptional students who are the President and Vice-President of a prestigious high school. They are both dignified, have solid backgrounds, and an unconventional view of love. In their perspective, love is a war with a strong hierarchy, and the one who falls in love first loses—the one who confesses first is placed below, oppressed, and forced to obey the winner. They are aware of each other's interest and consider dating, but the problem is that both want to emerge as the victor. This leads to a simple conclusion: "I will make them fall for me and confess first." And thus, our story begins. Each chapter presents the psychological warfare between these characters, filled with intricate plans, twists, and often unfavorable (but amusing for us) outcomes, with a winner and a defeated party. The entire situation is extremely amusing and enjoyable. The plot is a breath of fresh air in the rom-com genre, with the potential to become immensely popular among readers and a weekly pleasure worth looking forward to. Art: 7 I like the art—it's not exceptional, the character designs are not groundbreaking, and the art style is simple, but it complements the story well. The characters' expressions are spot-on, and crucial moments are skillfully drawn to capture the tension of the situation. Characters: Currently, we only have three characters, and each of them is endearing. They are: Shirogane, the male protagonist and the President: Incredibly intelligent, he's the top student in the entire country. He exudes a sense of badassery, seriousness, and calculative thinking. He understands Kaguya's character better than she does his, allowing him to counter many of her devious plans. However, he's not flawless and occasionally fails to read her, leading to misunderstandings and complete character breakdowns. Kaguya, the female protagonist and the Vice-President: The heir of Japan's largest corporation, she carries the future of the country's economy on her shoulders. Raised in a sheltered environment, her knowledge of the outside world is limited, and this often becomes her weak point. She devises incredibly complex plans that succeed until her lack of common knowledge alters the outcomes. She does have feelings for Shirogane, but her pride prevents her from admitting it. Instead, she creates more plans and traps in her attempt to win the war. She possesses a devious personality, is quite manipulative, and even has shades of a strong Yandere... it's her inherent naivety that prevents her from becoming a full-fledged "femme fatale." Fujiwara: The secretary and Kaguya's best friend, she's an extremely cheerful girl. It's hard to determine if she's aware of the war between the two main characters, as she plays a significant role in the creation and failure of many plans. Nonetheless, she's enjoyable to watch. While not as intelligent or wealthy as the main protagonists, she often acts as Kaguya's link to common sense and the outside world, clearing up misunderstandings and helping her learn various things. Enjoyment: 10 It's difficult not to enjoy this. Overall: 9 This manga revolves around the battle of egos between two individuals with twisted ideologies. It employs psychological warfare in a remarkably original manner. Unpredictable and engaging, it keeps you eagerly awaiting each battle's resolution. I wrote this review because I was surprised to find that none had been written yet. This manga is simply too good to be underrated.

I discovered this manga on Christmas when the first translated chapters were released. I kept it open in my browser tabs for two weeks because I had other manga to read. Three days ago, I read the comments and saw that it already had 49 chapters, so I decided to start reading. I had read the three pages, which is the introduction, and then put it on hold for another two days, until yesterday. That was a good decision, because this manga is awesome! I'm glad I had the chance to read all 52 chapters at once. I wouldn't have been able to live with
...
the cliffhangers of the last chapters.
While I was researching to see how many chapters were out there, I was surprised by the lack of information about this manga on the internet. I checked MAL and saw that there are very few reviews and activity. This is probably because the translations are fresh, despite being about 1.5 years old. Anyway, I decided to be the first one to make a review and share this great piece of art with you. Helck is a parody RPG-themed manga about a hero who participates in a tournament to become the next demon king. As you can imagine, this is going to be a fun read. The manga starts with an explanation of how a hero defeated the previous demon king and how humanity was finally free. (At this point, I thought this story was going to be a standard fighting shounen.) Then, four months later, we are in the demon world where demons come to participate in a tournament where the winner will become the next demon king. After a brief introduction of the situation, we have the first characters discussing the tournament. The first one is Vamiro, a high-ranking female demon and the manager of the tournament. Hon is the assistant manager. After a small discussion, we are introduced to Helck, the protagonist of the series. He is an obvious mix between Conan the Barbarian and He-man. He is not very charismatic at first (I was about to drop the series when I saw him for the first time), but just like Saitama showed us that he is more than a baldy with a cape, this MC will win your admiration and respect quite fast. This is all I can say without spoiling anything. Just read the first chapter as a test. You won't be able to stop until you finish it. The comedy in this manga is hilarious, despite the similarities to One Punch Man. The comedy in Helck is less forced. Even when the outcome of a situation is predictable, you will still laugh because it is delivered in such a way. However, there is more to this story than simple comedy. It starts as a parody, but as the story goes on, it becomes more serious and even darker. You will laugh, you will cry, you will feel revolted, and you will find yourself talking to the monitor and the characters in the manga. Characters: The characters are great. The main protagonist is kind, strong as hell, and badass. You will find yourself loving him really fast. Vamiro, the other protagonist, is cute, cool, and badass too. She is one of the strongest and most important demons, but her attitude towards Helck is one of the strongest points of the story. There are many things to say about her, but let's keep the spoilers away. The rest of the characters are interesting and fun too, from the other important characters to the demon kings we will see only in pictures and hear about in the stories. You will love them all. Art: The art is nothing special. It is not bad, but it is not great either. However, it is very suited to the story. Enjoyment: This is the best manga I have read in the last year.

This manga doesn’t have a review and I consider it deserve at least a short one, even though it has just 6 chapter for the moment. That why I will not give too much information, otherwise I will spoil you. Kagerui is manga about rich peoples. The action happens in a private school where are enrolled the progenitors of the elites (politicians, rich bastards, etc.). But this school is pretty unique; not only is full of rich punks, but it has a special system, that revolves around... gamble. Yes, the whole school is a damn casino, in which those kids bet money... and their life’s...
...
The system is a little similar with Liar Game. At the beginning, the students make a donation to the school, which will represent the amount they will use in gamble. The amount of money they have and their skills play an important role in their social status... Those who are good at gambling (and cheating) live enjoy their student life and privileges, those who lose all their money and have debts they can’t pay, fall at the bottom and become pets/slaves that have to obey the other students and take their abuse. The school is really fuked up. The students are real jerks in an overwhelming proportion. The main antagonist are the students council, who are the elites when it comes to gambles, crazy like shit, and rule over the school and its finances.
The main character is Jamabi Yumeko, who is just... awesome. Imagine a Tokisaki Kurumi addicted to gamble... that would be Jamabi, she loves so much gambles that she has orgasms. She doesn’t care of the danger or the bets, she enjoy taking dangerous gambles. You will love her. It goes the same for antagonists too... especially the Student Council President who is kind of hot and badass... Is not too much to tell about other characters from just 6 chapter’s trough... The art is great. The character design is awesome and sexy when it comes to girls, without being moe or having oppai. I love how the artist is able to portrait expressions that show despair, fear, pleasure, excitement, or just the ugly souls of the students. I highly recommend this to everyone, especially to those who enjoy psychological genre. You will definitely love this from the first chapter. Story: 9 Art: 10 Character: 9 Enjoyment: 10 Overall: 9

**It is quite evident that when it comes to manga, women don't have too much imagination. I mean no offense, and I apologize to the entire feminist fanbase who might feel offended, but this is the truth. It's sufficient to read some shoujo manga and observe that about 90% of them are the same. The pattern is typically a girl falling in love with a popular boy, often portrayed as dull. Forced drama abounds, leading one to wonder, "Has the mangaka ever been in a relationship or do they derive everything from shoujo manga? Are Japanese teenagers truly this naive?" Anyone who has watched "Kimi
...
no Todoke" (which is a good story) or read "Ao Haru Ride" knows what I'm referring to—melodramatic situations that appear silly. It feels as though these mangaka's base their understanding of relationships solely on other shoujo manga. This might explain the prevalence of similar, unoriginal stories that feel like another chapter in an overly long tale or another season of "Young & Restless." How do I know all of this? Because I can't stop reading shoujo manga (I'm rather embarrassed to admit it, but it's the truth). While 90% of it adheres to clichés, there's that valuable 10% that's truly worth one's time. Now, does "Itazura na Kiss" fall into this category? Not exactly. It's a bit more complicated.
Let me clarify a few points before delving further: This review will focus on the anime. Regrettably, as many may know, the mangaka passed away before completing the manga (R.I.P.), so I'm hesitant to invest in an unfinished work. The reason I started discussing shoujo manga is that the number of shoujo manga receiving anime adaptations is notably small compared to other genres. Having more than one shoujo adaptation per season is considered quite extraordinary, and those adaptations that do happen are usually among that valuable 10%. Now, back to "Itazura na Kiss"... I can't categorize this story as part of that 10% because that percentage pertains to more recent works. "Itazura na Kiss" manga originated in the late '90s, a period during which the anime industry was burgeoning. It was an era when originality was still a significant factor. "Itazura na Kiss" emerged during a time when shoujo manga didn't involve ULTRA-MEGA-SUPER melodramatic scenarios that provoke frequent facepalms and evoke dark feelings (cough* "Ao Haru Ride" cough*). This was a time when many good shoujo series began to surface, although several lacked a certain essential quality. Similarly, in shounen manga, well-developed combat systems were lacking, primarily revolving around martial arts and energy beams. However, the late '90s marked a turning point with the emergence of complex stories like "Naruto." "Itazura na Kiss" also exhibits a deficiency, and I'll explain that shortly. This story is pivotal in laying the foundation for subsequent clichés. Thus, I don't regard it as part of the 10%, though it remains a classic. Nonetheless, being a classic doesn't diminish its quality—it's, in fact, quite impressive. While the manga is from an earlier era, the anime adaptation was released in 2008 (a good year), so it retains an old-school charm that sets it apart. Story: Before delving into the story, a crucial clarification is needed. Some individuals have criticized the romance in this story for lacking in comparison to works like "Kimi no Todoke," "Fruits Basket," and the like. Their viewpoint holds merit, BUT this anime isn't primarily a shoujo romance—it's a ROMANTIC COMEDY, with comedy being its primary genre. The distinction between romantic comedy and romance lies in their nature. Classic romantic comedies include movies like "Pretty Woman," "10 Things I Hate About You," and "City Lights" (if we're considering films). On the other hand, romance is represented by works like "Romeo and Juliet," "Titanic," and "Gone with the Wind." While comparing anime with American movies might seem odd, it offers a point of reference. For those accustomed to shoujo of the current decade, anticipating significant development and melodrama, you won't find that here. Individuals with such expectations have given negative reviews to this anime, which is understandable. It's akin to those who frequently watched movies where Arnold Schwarzenegger singlehandedly defeats armies armed with machine guns using just a Colt 45, firing four bullets without needing to reload, and then shoots a car with a single bullet, causing a city-leveling explosion. If these individuals then watch a realistic WWII historical film and complain about the characters not matching up to Arnold's action-hero standards, it reflects a misunderstanding of the genre. THE STORY: It commences with Kotoko, who, in the first episode, moves with her father into their newly constructed house. However, her father's greed led to subpar materials being used, causing the house to collapse that very night following a minor earthquake. Homeless, Kotoko and her father move in with his old friends, who happen to be Irie Naoki's parents—the same Irie Naoki who dismissed her love letter in a mere second, citing his dislike for "dumb girls." If anyone expects a profound romance after this premise or the first episode, they might be misguided. The story then centers mainly on Kotoko's attempts to make Irie fall for her, gain his attention, and similar endeavors. What sets this apart from many stories is its decade-spanning narrative. Here lies the minor problem that garners complaints: development. Despite more than 10 years of passage, their relationship grows considerably (I'll refrain from spoiling), but at the same time, it hasn't evolved significantly. Development occurs in their relationship dynamics and life circumstances, yet their romantic lives and feelings remain relatively static. Even after nine years, Irie treats Kotoko much the same. Kotoko falls in love with him during her early high school years due to his intelligence and handsomeness, but they have minimal interaction until his swift rejection and her subsequent living arrangement with his family. Her initial idealized image of him should shatter upon meeting him, given his cold demeanor, but her feelings remain unchanged and steadfast. This is quite puzzling, as Irie is far from an ideal partner. While he might seem perfect for a husband—intelligent, successful, good-looking—he'd likely struggle to convey love, potentially leading to infidelity, divorce, and legal battles for half his fortune, custody, and their pet. Yet, despite this, "Itazura na Kiss" remains highly enjoyable. The primary genre, comedy, serves a purpose and generates many laughs. Although drama is limited, it's executed skillfully, inducing teary-eyed moments. CHARACTERS: The main characters are obviously Kotoko and Irie. Kotoko is a dumb girl, but she is cute and honest. She is part of class F, which is basically the class for dummies. She is technically good for nothing. She can't cook or take care of the house. She isn't very smart, and she is clumsy. Her only qualities are her honesty and stubbornness, which makes her a good character, though. Being clumsy and stubborn makes her different from the usual characters who would cry and feel depressed over every little difficulty (and she has a LOT, because Irie is... Irie). When a rival appears, she doesn't back down and, despite her obvious inferiority, she fights to win Irie. She really does a lot of things and changes people. She is even able to melt Irie's ice heart (more or less)... Irie says at one point, "Kotoko is unable to do 90% of the things I can do, but the remaining 10%, I can't do, she excels in making it.'' The problem is that we really don't know why she loves Irie. He was her first crush, and he remained like this. After their relationship develops, the emotional part remains kind of unchanged. She continues to address him as Irie-kun even after 9 years, even though at some point she becomes an Irie too. Irie is the exact reverse of Kotoko. He is in class A, a genius who is the number 1 student in Japan. Very handsome (even though Kotoko is very cute too), cold, and serious. He starts to change after he meets Kotoko... not because she changes something in him (even though she does), but because Kotoko's clumsy actions have repercussions against him. He is the main problem of this anime. He doesn't give too much of a damn about Kotoko at the beginning, and that doesn't change too much after he falls in love with her. He continues to be kind of cold and bully her, or even hurt her (without intention though), until the last episodes when he gets a little warmer and more caring, which is kind of the norm in a normal manga. But at that point in Itazura, it has been 9 years since they were together. You understand what kind of a cold bastard he is when we see that a year before, he had given her her first birthday present (poor Kotoko, to think that the man you love and who loves you gives you a present only in movies). I mean seriously, it took him 8 years to give her a present? Basically, what keeps this relationship is Kotoko and her "I love Irie, and I won't give up on him" attitude, which makes her extremely happy with any small proof of love she receives from him. Even so, Irie is actually the portrait of the usual Japanese male. Take out his looks (they aren't all handsome) and intelligence (Asians are smart, but they aren't all geniuses), and you have the normal: cold, stiff, and too serious Japanese husband who doesn't say "I love you," but shows his love by bringing the money into the house. The side characters are important too. There is Mama Irie and Papa Irie, and little Irie Yuuki, who respects his onni-chan and rejects Kotoko for a period, but continues to "bully" her and consider her stupid even after he accepts her. Mama Irie loves Kotoko, and her main purpose in the story is to bring Kotoko and her son together. After they get together, she makes sure that their relationship works fine, following them incognito on the honeymoon and dates. She is really funny, and she takes tons of pictures and films every important moment between Kotoko and Irie. But we don't really get why she loves Kotoko so much. There is Kotoko's father too, but there isn't too much to say about him. An important side character is Kinnosuke. He is the dumb guy who is in love with Kotoko. He is basically the male version of Kotoko. You may find him annoying, but you will love his honesty and motivation to do everything for Kotoko. He is the character that in the end receives the biggest character development of all. ART: The art has the old school aura. There's nothing special about it, but it's not bad either. It suits the story, and the expressions the characters make are really funny. SOUND: Again, old school. The OP really reminds you of a '90s anime, and for me, it was a surprise that it was done in 2008 because I really thought it was from the beginning of 2000. The EDs are good too. The second ED is used a few times as a soundtrack in dramatic moments, which made me laugh at a moment because it has rap. So I couldn't really take that moment seriously. There's nothing special about the other tracks though. ENJOYMENT: I saw this for the first time in 2009 or so, and I loved it. I watched it again last week, and I loved it. And I am sure I can watch it another 10 times and love it just as much. This is a really easy-to-digest story that will not give you sad butterflies in your belly. Instead, it will make you feel good. It's sad that the mangaka died before finishing the story (R.I.P.). I know that there was more in the manga that wasn't used in the anime, including arcs and characters... I wanted to see more. OVERALL: I recommend this anime to everybody who wants to laugh and have a good time. PRO: Really funny and has great and enjoyable characters. ZERO unwanted and dumb melodrama. Interesting time skip. CONS: I would have loved to see more development between characters as a result of some important events. The time skip can be a little annoying at some points when in 1:30 minutes, 2 years go by, especially when it comes to Irie Yuuki. Many of the important side characters have been ignored after some point and didn’t receive their part/development/etc. in the story, like it was covered by the manga. Too short, taking into consideration that it follows +10 years of their lives, it really feels rushed and short, leaving you with the feeling of wanting more. At least 30 episodes would have been more suited, 50 episodes would have been welcomed. STORY: 8 ART: 7 SOUND: 7 CHARACTERS: 9 ENJOYMENT: 10 OVERALL: 9 P.S.: And for those who complain that it didn't have development like Kimi no Todoke, think about this: in Itazura, the characters kissed like 3 times, and they did much more... No kiss in Kimi no Todoke, +30 episodes, and no kiss...

In the end after, 2 years of trying, I managed to watch this series... Taking in consideration that it got a lot of 10, and is 2nd place on MAL, is obvious that I had big expectations... and so you do my dear reader. So, is Steins;Gate truly a masterpiece ? I dont know. I know a thing, this anime is far from perfection, like is aclaimed to be. Peoples say SAO is overrated, SNK is overrated, Naruto is overrated... today I say, Steins;Gate is pretty overrated too. To be honest I've been quite dissapointed, that why I decided to make this review. And I
...
will make it for both peoples who intend to watch it and for those who had seen it.
Story: 7 (more like 6,5 trough) Steins;Gate is definetly an unique anime on a market full of so much cliche. Personally, I never saw an anime about time travel, and never heard of one (if there are, excuse my lack of knowlege). The story follows Okabe Kentarou, a self claimed ''Mado Scientisto'', his 2 friends Daru and Mayushi, and their adventures in their laboratory, in which they try to create awsome gadgets... but they arent very talented... even so, by a miracle, they end up creating by accident a time machine, more exactly a gadget with which they can send SMS in past. From there the story is quite confussing, and shit happens for about 9 episodes (so bear with it). After 9 episodes trough, you start to recive answers (more or less), and the anime transform in a quite good thriller/mistery. That is all the information I can give without entering in spoilers. So is it good or bad ? Well the anime is definetly something quite different from from what we seen on the market in the last period of time (excepting the quite typical characters: tsundere girl, moe genki girl, neko girl, trap, dere and otaku). Is quite enjoyable, and the comedy is good. The MC is really unique. Even in the confussing 9 episodes you wont get bored, is a good anime. But even if the ideea is good, it has to many flaws... Basically this anime is a bunch of plot holes, and Deus Ex Machina, which is used many times in anime, but the problem is the in this anime the Deus Ex Machina is quite hardcore and is used in the most crucial moments, and if only one would miss the story would fall apart. If you think this anime would be a great element for Geek-Land, like Doctor Who, you will be dissapointed. The story gets some scientifical elements but the execution lacks... I dont know, a geek writer ? The whole concept of time travel is very confusing and many times lacks logic. Characters: 9 Like I said the characters are very typical, but they are pretty well executed. The MC, Okarin, is badass like hell and very charismatic, with few pussy moments at some point but he is still cool... I mean what can be more interesting than a ''scientist'' with chuunibyou ? Mayushi, is the normal genki girl, with moe elements that you will fall in love with for some reason. Daru... yeah, is ok too, nothing special trough. Kurisu is the pridefull tsundere, that has a tons of characteristics for her age (genius, tsundere, moe, otaku, etc.), but you would definetly like her even if you hate tsundere as she isn't a hardcore one; we have Ferys the Nya~Nya girl > < that you will hate or love; Moeka, the dere anti-social girl, Ruka the trap, Suzuha the girl with the best story, and few others. You will fell attached to them, you will definetly give a fuck or 2 on their situations, so there aren't complains. Sound: 8 The OP is awsome, is in my play list long before I watched the anime. The ED isnt memorable trough, is the same for the soundtracks too. Art: 8 The art is cheap, is not an anime with big budget. The colors are dark, the character design is quite simple. Even so the art is very suited to the anime. Enjoyment 8 In the last 2 years I gave up one my old hardcore marathon-like way of watching anime. 2 years ago I would watch this in less than 2 day. Now it took me almost 2 weeks. The main reason is the fact that I discovered manga, which is almost allways better than the anime adaptations, and take me less time to finish one. Another reason is that 2 years ago, I started watch anime in family (together with my 18 years old little brother, another 9 years old brother and my kind of an otaku 12 years old sister), as a result I ended up doing something I would not do in the past... rewatch anime. That why in present, my grade of enjoyment with an anime is rated by the question: ''Will you rewatch this?'' and most importantly, are you ready to sacrifice the 3 hours program (yeah I have a program now) to rewatch the series ? For this anime, the answer is NO. Even if I would marathon it to try to understand the things I didn't understand, I see this as an anime you watch once in a life time (but maybe i will play the game). The anime was enjoyable, and where 3-4 episodes where I really couldn't wait to see what happens next, but, the first 9 episodes where confusing, many reviews said there is where the confusion ends, but they lied... the whole show was confusing, expecially the last episode, where I tried to find a logical explanation but I failed, because there is none. The show is not boring, but there to many elements, for 24 episodes, I know this is made after a VN, but that game has over 30 hours lenght. Overall: DO I RECOMAND THIS ? Yes! As a logical being I couldn't not feel a punch in the face by the flaws in the logic and plot holes this anime delivers... but this is me. I wouldn't bothered with this review if I wouldn't had seen so many review calling this anime as perfect (which is not). You may find this as a masterpiece too, like many others. Even if is not perfect, Steins;Gate is definetly an anime that will remain in history. And is an ejoyable show that doesen't fail to make you laught or even cry, that why I will make a list with Pros and Cons: PRO: - Even if they aren't unique, the character are really well done. You will connect with them, you will fell sorry for them, cry or be happy for them, hate them or love them. And Okabe is awsome. - Drama. Is not forced and is very good... I really feelt like shit after Suzuha Arc Q.Q -Comedy, it manged to make me and my brother laught from the first episode, right after we finished NouCome... so is good. - Thriller. It wasn't what I expected, but it definetly keept us hooked. - Originality... Have you saw the Anime Winter 2014-2015 Chart ? When you have so much cliche (5 anime have basically the same story), it makes you apreciate niche like S;G. Is an unique anime, and I really hope someone is going to be inspired and make a better one with a symilar ideea. CONS: -Plot holes -hardcore Deus Ex Machina -Logic flaws -Lack of crucial explanation about some important elements that don't necessary have something to do with science... Overall: 8 Now, like I said in the begining, I am going to make this review for peoples who intend to watch this and for the ones who aleardy watched. For the last ones I will make a short list with the most important flaws, so they can understand that I am not really butthurt, and I actually have reasons for why I think this is overrated: ATENTION HARDCORE SPOILERS, DONT READ THIS IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED THE ANIME YET!!!! -The biggest Deus Ex Machina is the statelite that fell on Akihabara. The story take place in 3 weeks, time in which the statelite is left there. In any normal situation, the autorities would come isolate the area, because is dangerous, that thing can fall in someones head... But here we talk about a statelite, the secret services and police would be there in few minutes and take it, because it has advanced tehnology that should not fall in wrong hands, and if is not japanese is even more important to take it from there, to see what it is... Plus, that thing is supposed to fall from the space but is still intact, so this mistery would make the authorities even more courious. The fact that it would be took fast is shown by Suzuha too in 23 episode when he said to Okabe to hurry as she can't let the time machine there for too long. -When Suzu goes back in 1975 and lost her memories, the statelite/time machine is left behind, as a result it would be definetly took over by the autorities, who in the end they will find out that is not a statelite but is actually a time travel machine. Having in their hand the time travel tehnology since then, the present in which the action happens, should be different... as we know in Suzuha time line SERN took over the world, and in the other one the WWIII started. PLOT HOLE - Okabe's time machine is ridiculous, and why and how does the TV play the role to help, was never explained. As for what was the banana gel they wanted to make was supposed to be (I am courious). ILOGIC and UNEXPLAINED PLOT - Ignoring the fact that they are able to create very easly a machine that transfer memories, with their low buget (I remeber that even bananas where expensive for them), a tehnology that is researched at this moment and has millions of dollars as budget, and the fact that Okabe manage to escape very easy from Moeka and use the time machine to jump in time many times, there is a big annoying problem... at some point Okabe leaps in past, even before creating the memory transfer gadget, but that doesen't stops him from making other leaps. There is not explained if they create it again or what the heck happens. PLOT HOLE - Ruka is born as a girl because her mother eats only vegetables... Wut O O ?! ILOGIC - They had send more D-Mails than they cancel, for example the lottery ticket, is not said if it was canceled. CONFUSING - I couldn't understand how will they erase the first D-Mail using the IBN 5100. CONFUSING. - And more importantly how did the first D-Mail managed to save Kurisu ? There was no action like in the other D-Mails, is was just Okabe informing Daru that he saw Kurisu dead... - The IBN 5100 ? Why is it so hard for SERN to find one ? Didn't they heard about Ebay ? PLOT HOLE - The characters are able by a miracle to remember their past in the other line. If it wasn't for this it was really difficult or impossible to change the future. DEUS EX MACHINA. - Taking in consideration how the time lines work, there was a way to save Mayuri without canceling the D-Mails... create another line, because Mayuri was destined to die in that line, as a result Okabe could had send another D-Mail, that would change the line. Taking in consideration the events, the best ideea would had been to send a simple D-Mail, in which he will say to ignore Moeka the first time he meet her... as a result even the IBN should remain in their possesion. PLOT HOLE - Why did Mr Braun need expendable agents to find a PC ? Is not like is ilegal. DUMB PLOT HOLE - After he is hurt saving Kurisu when he returns together with Suzuha in the past she disappear because the future chages, but Okabe returns in his time, which means the time machine remains, doesen't it ? But if the future was changed the time machine wasn't invented, this is what we are made to belive by Suzuha herself too... If so, Okabe should had dissapeared too, as he represent a future without Kurisu. The fact that he returns in future and the fact that he is wounded even trought he represent his past self who wasn't hurt yet, is quite ilogic. As he saw his past self he shouldn't be part of that time line anymore, as the future was changed, the Okabe who saw Kurisu in the blood pool should take his place (even if his memory would remain intact), in conclussion Okabe should had dissapeared together with Suzuha and the time machine.CONFUSING PLOT HOLE Those are the main flaws that really couldn't make me see this show as a masterpiece. I will probably play the game sometime in the future, even trough I am not a gamer (I still didnt finished Resident Evil 5, I had it for over 1 year, and i didn't finished first chapter yet).

My first review was about the notorious School Days, so it was obvious that my next review will be about another piece of junk... Well not really, I intended to make Agame Ga Kill, but I was reading Horimiya, I took a brake and entered on MAL to check the original manga, and I dont know how, I found thise series at recomandation, and discovered that it has really great scoores: 8,9,10... WTF ?! So to save some pure souls from watching this series and maybe end up becoming lolicons (it can happen), I chose to leave Akame ga Kill for later and review
...
this mediocre piece of shi... fan service...I must start by saying that I didnt finish the anime, I drop it after 3 episodes, then I read a little of manga, really fast between chapters, and spend a day reading summarys...Yep, I discovered that the manga was popular so because I am an M, I studied the story because my heart cant bear reading directly immoral stuffs or NTR. Just like I did with another series Cross and Roses, or something, about a beiach who is raped for 50 chapters, and she fall in love with the rapist... ah and she break up with the nice guy that loved her a lot to be with him - and i suffered for a week TT.TT...
Back to our review... Kodomo no Jikan is a story about horny 7-11 years girls who tires to seduce their teacher. This would be the story on short. You have this little girl who develops a crush on her teacher, a pretty normal thing (I dont know about girls, but boys had, and I had a crush for a female teacher or 2)... so is something that every normal kid would do, the problem is that this girl unlike a normal child ends up trying to get his di_k, in other words to seduce him, and she even does stuffs like blackmailing... Is pretty difficult to talk about something else, because this is the story.... Sure many would say: ''Is more than this, is a deep and dramatic story... that has some ecchi moments.'' WRONG! KnJ is an ECCHI manga about the sexualization of childrens that has some dramatic elements too - not a dramatic story that has ecchi elements... Basically, the cheap and forced drama is put there just to make this series a little more acceptable. What is really shocking is that the mangaka is actually a woman - and that is the reason why Knj has some drama, this is why KnJ wasnt just an ecchi comedy for phedophiles... Even so that doesent really help, because the series - for commercial purpouse or because of the editor - was transformed in a ecchi shouen. This series would had been much much better, maybe even become a classic, if it was a Seinen, without ecchi elements (or at least they could had been done in a mature and realistic way, not as fan-service and comedy), the ideea wasnt 100% bad, but the way it was done is horrible (90% lolicon fan-service and 10% some good elements). So why is the story done bad ? Well, in an ecchi comedy, something like a scene of masturbation for example, becomes fan-service - you will have a 7-8 years old loli rubing her pu#@y watching porns, and in the real world the Faps will be strong. That is the difference between this and Seinen, this would be seen not as erotic but as something natural, and the sturggle of a growing child, etc (of course there are some who would fap even to cracked walls, but here i am talking about responsable peoples). Lets talk a little about, CHARACTERS. You have the horny manipulative and too mature for her age (mentally, not phisically), 7-11 years old, (that because the story follows 4 years of their life) and has a dramatic story, a lesbian loli who has a bad mounth and knows what a virgin is at her age, a too well developed girl (she has oppai... now, the problem is that I live in Europe, here girls develop fast, my sister had really big boobs at 13, another sister that is 12 now, she start do develop her boobs pretty well too... but they did it after the age of 11, and was seen as EARLY... I never, ever heard of a 7 years old with boobs - maybe only a sick one... Japnese womans are flat like a surf board, they look at 40 like Europeans at 16, so in an anime, a 7-10 years old gil with boobs, can only be seen as a fetish not reality), and the all known Male protagonist who is boring and shady like fuck, has nothing special and at 23+ is still a virgin... and a guy with a trauma. Basically the characters arent that bad, especially a 7 years girl who seem to be lesbian, in a more serious story, this would be interesting and dramatic, but is not the case here... To keep this shorter, KnJ is a story made for phedophiles, for peoples with sick fetish about assertive little girls, who would be ready to trow in a sexual relationshp, and maybe even be experts. The difference is the protagonist, who try to keep the distance.. but in the end he falls in love with a 11 years old. And all the drama and shit wont change this fact, I see them as excuses. I actually find this offensive to great anime that got severe critics for having some 'bad'' elements... Like SAO for example (averge anime, but good example), where everyone said it suck because it had incest (- a girl in love with her cousin, who didnt feel the same. Nothing happened, he didnt sake the butty, but it was incest -_-), and on the other side anime like KissxSis or Oreimo, who are about incest are great and popular... or No Game No Life, who scared the shit of the anime fans, because of the sexualization of childrens (there where some panty shots of Shiro), it doesent matter the great plot, characters, world, artbehind the anime - there is child sexualization so it sucks, but an anime about the sexualization of childrens like this one, is great because has something deeper in it (well Rin had something deep in her in the list chapter, so...), is just like how a 10 years girl in bikini licking a banana, is Art in U15 Japanese magazine for the middle age mans who buy them.. And Yeah, ATENTION SPOILER, in the end, in manga, Aoki fuck the children on her 16th birthday... you could say is acceptable, in parts of Japan the consent age is 13, so he didnt brake the law, and he waited for her to grow up and become more mature, he is not a phedophile.. well, here is the problem, in the 5 years in which they didnt meet (but they remained in love and loyal to each other by a miracle), she didnt grow at all, she still had the body of a 9 years old, so all the phedo.. fans, recived their expected fan service with Rin over Aoki trying to fit his Alpha Male mature di@K in her little undeveloped pu@#y... and yes, she was still flat chested. This anime doesent bring anything extraordinary to the industry, is far from being a masterpiece, is far from being even average, is a dumb an ecchi comedy, that tries to bring some serious issues and drama, but it fails, because the mangaka chose the wrong genre. The comedy even trough a main genre, is dumb, you will actually laugh at how weak and average it is, the only comedy you will get will the the lesby loli calling the MC a virgin, pantsu and ecchi stuffs, and some dumb ''funny'' situation that are still erotic (like Rin sending the MC a photo of her pu@#y by mistake). The Romance is.... you have an 11 years girl who for some reason is able to wait 5 years to be with the one she love, be loyal and give him her virginity in the end, even trough at the age of 7 she was horny like a rabbit - and yet, at the age we all get horny, our little pervert is a good future waifu... and a 23-27 guy, who wait for his 11 years old love interest to grow up and lose his virginity at 32 with her (and is unable to get a damn woman in 5 years)... More importantly you have an 7-11 years old, who is able to chose the man with which she wants to spend the rest of her life, and is able to get over some difficulties to be with him =_=... I was mature and smart at her age, and yet I would fap on playboy magazines and I was in love with the most popular girl in my class, whose name I dont even remeber now... Drama, there is drama, but is really forced, sometimes too dark, and it really feels out of the story... is to serious fo the non-serious story. In 7 years I saw many anime (my anime list is far from complete, and there is no real category for incomplete anime), I think every anime has its magic, but Kodomo no Jikan is the first anime I trought it suck, right next to KissxSis (the series). If I recomand ? Well, you can watch this if you are someone who cant get a boner if the naked girl in front of him isnt under 12... You will most definetly enjoy, even if you arent a phedophile but you are a lolicon (boner for 2D girls under 13), you have here naked loli, masturbation, end even more at the final + tons of pantsu, so. You wont enjoy, if like me you are a normal human being with morality and normal sexual orientation (I mean towards a normal ages). Finnal Score: 3.
