Only 5 chaps so far, but I' really looking forward for this.
The story still using some generic isekai and waifu witch as backbone, but the author did a very good job making this manga different.
In summary, this is what you'll have if you combine Elaina and Saya no Uta. It's not the best or the most original, but it's still a good manga to look forward.
The art did a good depiction of monstrosity of the characters. Not exceptional like Berserk but not so bad that you fell sick to read it.

First: I think this is work of good amateur. A good amateur who know how to make a lovable main character despite lacking skill to make an outstanding story.
The best thing about this novel is the main character. She's an absolute cute awkward introvert who's lacking common sense about social skill which make her an adorable character. Her thought, action, and sometimes unexpected quotes is the one make me love this novel. She got OP power but her personality isn't like those usual heroic isekai protag. This is a manga about magician. Not the RPG magic using mana etc, but the magic trick you see in TV shows using deception and illusion.
The main selling point of the manga is the magic tricks. It draw the reader's curiosity how the MC will pull out his acts. The method used in the tricks are well explained, so the author really did their research. How the author execute the visual is also did a good job. The downside is the plot and the character. This story is generic OP 'otome game' isekai. If you're tired of such isekai, I doubt you'll love this.
OP MC? Yes MC doing grinding? Yes. Discriminated MC due to her power? Yes. People hating MC due to idiotic other reasons? Yes. Idiotic "capture target" princes? Yes. When I see the 'otome game' concept, I thought it's another milked theme. But turn out, it's not bad.
Story: No need to explain. The MC reincarnated to the game he played. So his knowledge of the world is what make him OP.But the author did not just threw a random trouble at him so he'll just overpower it and somehow succeed in 1 or 2 chapters. We can see his struggle to survive the nonsense world, and we're happy to see him win despite we knew he'd win after all. The world build is fit for me. This is quiet interesting and enjoyable story for me, as we delve into their life how two unrelated people coexist and how they reflect their relationship each other. Story: The story focus on how Yoshida and Sayu live and interact day by day through usual daily activity. Then it deepen as living together like they do became more difficult as time passed. The art and the atmosphere is pretty good for me although not very detail but it really give forlorn feeling which is matching with the story.
The main downside for me is it is unknown why the cleaners agree to kill those people without even told yet that they are going to be killed if they don't. It's like hey i can control people now and i'm told to kill certain people then let's do it. They aren't even cruel or psychotic people to begin with, even azure know the consequence of disobeying by experience, not because someone told her. |
