Shugo Chara! (Anime) add
Preliminary (43/51 eps)
Shugo Chara! is the first anime series I've watched, and it's also one of my favourites. Despite having similar elements to other magical girl stories, it's unique concept makes it stand out from the rest.

Story: 9/10
The story of Shugo Chara! is compelling, with plenty of exciting moments. There aren't any plot twists as far as I can remember, but the plot is still rather enjoyable. There is quite a lot of filler to help us connect with the characters, but it still seems to move at a reasonable pace.

Art: 8/10
The art is reasonably good, with some nice character designs. There are lots of girly shimmers ...

Preliminary (3/12 eps)
Hanamaru Kinderagarten is one of the cutest TV shows I've ever seen. And that's the reason I love watching it so much. It's also quite funny too.

Story: 6/10
There is no overall plot in Hanamaru Kindergarten, but the little individual stories are quite good. There is no particuarly clever storytelling, but it's not bad.

Art: 8/10
The artwork is bright and childish to suit the setting, and the children in the kindergarten look adorable. Not amazing, but still very nice.

Sound: 7/10
The music is fairly good, and suits the playful mood, though I didn't find any of it particuarly great. The voice acting is good- the children sound ...

Yotsuba to! (Manga) add
Preliminary (20/? chp)
When I first read Yotsabato!, I expected it to just be an innocent little kids' manga, with some childish jokes thrown in. I was wrong. It's actually possibly one of the funniest mangas I've ever read.

Story: 6/10
If you're looking for a great story, sorry, Yotsubato! is not the place to go. It's got an episodic storyline, with no proper plot, but I guess that's just what you'd expect from a comedy. There is the mystery of Yotsba's origins (she's adopted), but not much attention is drawn to that.

Art: 8/10
The art has a similar feel to a Disney movie; the characters are drawn simply, but look ...

This is my first review on MyAnimeList.net, so I apologise in adavance if I don't structure this review very well.

I picked up Magic Knight Rayearth in a bookshop for £15. Having come across a few CLAMP mangas before, I was rather intrigued. Was it worth the buy? Yes, it was.

Story: 8/10
For fantasy fans, the storyline may seem like something that's been done before. But despite this, the plot is gripping and fast-paced, yet there are also some more emotional moments. And the ending? It really isn't what you would expect. But wait, I've said too much.

Art: 9/10
The best thing about this manga, in my opinion, ...
