its better than the anime at least. still not that great, but the gender bender stuff going on is pretty funny, and i liked the alien characters. art is pretty decent and overall its a short, easy read. a certain characters "disability" (if thats what youd call it) is pretty absurd and stupid, but i cant really get into it without spoilers. p much seems like the author wanted some drama to toss in to make things more "interesting" or give some "depth" to the character, but man its just so silly i could never take it seriously. if you really like yuri series you

so....this guy is banging his dad, right? but its not his biological dad, which he finds out later and hes upset ab this for....some reason.
ok. not-dad is involved with some vapid woman who has a gay son who wants to bang the main character (not sure why, hes f*cking annoying and isnt even cute, but to each their own i guess). ok. basically this show sucks and i feel bad for the ppl involved who needed money so badly that they were a part of this. its definitely not the worst yaoi out there, not by a long shot, but its still p bad. definitely something id never ...

this show is pretty bland and forgettable. the main pairings are devoid of any chemistry, and the drama elements arent really handled with any finesse. ntm theres a character whos constantly being s*xually harassed by like half of the student body, to the point where its rather baffling and funny that the school doesnt seem to notice or care ab the ~predatory lesbians~ roaming the school grounds. that being said theres a lot of the ~predatory lesbian~ stuff going on in this show, so i cant honestly see yuri fans liking this series too much. i liked tomoe well enough, but every other character in

man....i love this show. i love everything about it. i have both the official licensed polaroid cameras, and a burrucha. that being said, this is definitely not everyones cup of tea. its pretty dated, but if youre ok with the art style and like over the top slapstick humor you might like it. i love all the music in this show and its one of the few anime osts i own (the vocal collection and the bg music). im a sucker for shojo and slice of life, so im definitely biased in kodocha's favor. sana and hayama are great characters - sana especially bc i

very nostalgic series for me. overall its a good slice of life, but not the best. this series covers the first 6 (out of 22 or 23) volumes of the manga. not sure if i would recommend this to anyone other than hardcore furuba fans though - the manga is better, and the new adaptation is also better, so theres not much reason to watch this unless youre desperate for some early 2000s anime nostalgia (and even then there might be better shows to watch). i love this show, but its definitely not for everyone. that being said though...i actually like the ost for this

back when i was in high school i bought the full series on dvd with one of my first ever paychecks. it was terrible, and i left them out in the open in the girls locker room bc i didnt want them and none of my friends wanted them either after watching the series with me. the next day they were gone....then a few days later they were returned. someone deadass took free anime and then brought it back.
the best thing i can say about this series is that the OP is adorable and super catchy. its a shame its attached to this pale imitation ...

this one hurts. they took berserk and mangled it. tied my man guts to the train tracks and the rest is history.
music is great tho - definitely check out the ost but life is so short theres no reason to subject yourself to this hatecrime of an anime. i cant see how anyone would like this - for berserk fans, this is akin to torture to see such a great series get treated like a sack of garbage getting torn up by raccoons. for someone whos never watched the OG series or read the manga....it makes even less sense to like this lmao the story ... |
