Although the story isn't original and similar storylines are usually pretty shallow and mostly promote sexual content, the flow of the story and the actions of the main characters are actually pretty lax and not rushed. It is an interesting storyline and although the art style is old, it still looked very appealing. It was very enjoyable and each character had a lot more depth to them than you would think from first impressions. I was also interested in their styles and fashion throughout the show. I really liked the relationship between the main character and the people she surrounded herself with. Although I am biased and dropped the show due to the fact that she didn't end up with the love interest I was rooting for, I would still recommend the show for those who have nothing else to watch.

The first most important thing to take into account when reading this manga is that character development exists and characters won't always stay how they were in the beginning. This manga began with a really shaky start, an asshole of a ML, insecure but arrogant FL, terrible classmates, etc. but as the story continues, the characters and story develop very well. Problems usually aren't repetitive which proves actual improvement with the character and frustrating situations are quickly resolved. And although a shoujo manga will always have fictional aspects, I believe that the way the FL reacted to each situation was always very realistic: spoilers ahead...

When I first finished this manga, I rated it a 6 out of anger towards the trash and unsatisfying ending it gave me. Now that I've had some time to think about it I rate it a 7 since honestly the story itself and the characters are pretty interesting and well developed. I wouldn't say this story is the best, but it is a light story that shows a couple living together. People forget that stories aren't only created to see characters improve but some can show the stability in someone's life and development is not always necessary for every story. I personally liked the female and male leads. The guy was portrayed as a typical asshole, a popular guy that doesn't care about anything (but food lol) but unlike other mangas I have read, Hisashi's love for Nao is still evident through his coldness.
