If you want to read something different read this manga!
Although it is a vampire story, it's not a casual story you are used to see. It is pretty good, the end isn't the best one around but at least does not throws it all in the trash can. I got pretty hyped reading it, specially the early volumes. It does have a lot of Ecchi stuff but always perfectly mixed with the horror and gore the manga has. That for sure got me really into this manga.
The art is GODLIKE. Really. Read it even if you hate vampires. I got caught first by the art

"Wow, that escalated quickly".
Man this manga is bad. Not because the main character is almost a lolicon or because there is some gross sexual+funny(?) scenes, or not even because the end is completely non-sense: it is bad because it's just like any other manga that hypes you, makes you feel that something freaking cool is going to happen and then......... AND THEN.... nothing. Just bullshit. I would be lying if I say that I didn't enjoyed reading the first or even the second volume. The story keeps going deeper and being detailed... but then suddently everything starts just being non-sense. Prepare yourself to tilt at least at ...

I really don't get it why this anime have a high score.
Story: really poor and theme is predictable. Everything you expect happens, same feeling when you adult is watching Disney movies. Art: ok, but fight scenes are poor as well. In HD is cool but animations in fights are really bad. Sound: Ok but poor in lots of moments, especially the child's voice. Characters: jesus... looks like a cheap copy of Dororo, although the anime is older than Dororo. All of them are so poorly developed that I couldn't identify myself with any. ...

First review I'm writing, so I apologize if it's too short or lack of any information.
ART - 9 The manga has some pretty cool art, it's very dark and dirty like a pretty emotional sketch, different from every manga I have ever read. STORY - 8 It is good but I thought it delayed too much to finally develop the "main story". It made me think about life, reincarnation and stuff. CHARACTER - 7 Characters are pretty unique although their stories may be a bit rushed or kind of poorly developed. ... |
