Undead unluck's unique plot, crazy worldbuilding, bloody fights and creative power system, makes it an extremely immersive, bizarre adventure,
We could agree to disagree on the storyline, plot, characters,
but tell me that legendary, magical OP is not #1 in the history of anime,
I experienced incomprehensible ecstacy from it <3

The story isn't good because it's straight forward. But the world building is great.

The characters are good as well, because they all have different personalities and actually add something to the story. One person is very against eating monsters, one is skeptical, one is enthusiastic but inexperienced, and one is sees it as a normal way of life.

They each add a different perspective to the story, as opposed to all being aghast or all in support, the latter of which a lot of food stories fall into.

please don't tell me that you find a lack of tension in Shokugeki no Souma because there's no life or death in it.

If you want another comparison, that's like watching porn and complaining that the story isn't compelling.

You're watching the show for the wrong reasons.

How do you see a series titled "Dungeon Meshi" and think that going through a dungeon and seeing how they cook the monsters is supposed to be the side objective?

The dungeon crawling/sister aspect is basically the excuse to go into the dungeon, and the reason why they need to resort to eating monsters.

The show's main appeal is the cooking.

It's like you're watching Masterchef and you're complaining that there's a lack of romantic development.

yeah seems I have the right dude, I dont want to talk abt that stupid ass review but it makes 0 sense, bleach is known for its great fashion sense, lots of cool characters, transformations and unique abilites. the story is there and its good but nothing special, that arc is war and the specific segment are mostly fights 24/7 and let other characters aside from the mc shine, its illogical to criticize that. not to mention bleach since like ep 80 something has been pretty much just fights, its stupid to expect something else from the series now. demon slayer is dogshit and doesnt do anything that is worth to note but bleach has a nice structure with one of the most icononic anime villans. I rate it 10/10 cuz my enjoyment was to the maximum, its perfect for what its trying to be.

tdlr that review is pretty much shitting on a shonen for not having seinen elements(complex characters and plot), if I would give a low score to 20cb cuz there arent many fights and its a slow build up towards a grand story it would be the same thing and a dumb thing to do.
