This manga is very lovely and heartwarming, and worth the read if you are looking for a motivational and endearing tale. I do have a couple of issues with it though.
As for what to expect, there is a great story with a main character who will experience a lot of character growth, and it isn't forced or given to him with no work. He pushes himself out of his comfort zone and works for his development. He's a likable character despite his initial flaws. The side characters all have lovely interactions and I felt connected to them. I found this manga incredibly heartwarming and inspiring,
...
especially as someone who has struggled with depression and self-isolation in the past.
As for critiques, I found the characters to be a little flat. Some of the side characters weren't very fleshed out. The two girls in the game world only had two personality traits; working hard and fighting over a big brother figure in a weirdly romantic way. I'm not a fan of incest so the romantic innuendos made by the sister and a literal child sister figure were a bit uncomfortable to watch. Plus there is a scene where the main character's sister offers to kiss him and he peeps on her showering. Ick. I liked the other characters but they were all a bit bland.
The story was good and wrapped up most of the loose ends aside from one. It was a little bit predictable; there was only one thing that surprised me. Most of the time it's just relaxing and doesn't have stakes. However, compared to most isekai that is the norm. They hinted at a second series, but it seems the author currently has no plans to go through with this.
Overall, a good, comfy read that most will enjoy, just keep in mind the incesty stuff is there and it can ruin the positive points of the book for some.

I began this isekai anime with high hopes, and it was enjoyable but didn't execute the premise as well as it could have. Elise is an interesting character and starts making her way into the medical field in the past. It excited me to think of what was to come. However, the medical part of the story isn't well developed, the characters feel a bit bland, and there are no interesting challenges for her.
Elise is instantly good at everything medically, which makes sense, but only to an extent. It would have been more entertaining for Elise to have to adjust to the less modern medical
...
field, with things to overcome such as not having modern medical equipment, or proving medical treatments are effective before she goes ahead with them. The medical side of the anime is by far the most interesting, but Elise's lack of growth and apparent "all-knowing medical goddess" -ness makes it feel a bit flat.
As for the being the queen side of things, we start with some interesting political input from the main character, which would be cool to explore further, but instead, there's lots of screen time spent on rather boring scenes like being at a ball. I'd personally much prefer if they were to spend less time on noble life, and if there was focus on her engagement for it to be focused on her political opinions and solutions she would implement in the slums to prevent famine or plagues, and how she would prove this is a good idea.
As far as the romance goes, it kind of feels forced. There isn't much chemistry between the main couple, and I'm sorry to disappoint but nearly every guy falls in love with her. Her brother is overprotective too, in that weird reverse harem way. The characters that like her don't have a personality anyways. It's kind of disappointing to see this premise force so much attempted romance into the plot when thats not really what we're here for. Romance is fine, but maybe try to keep it to one or two characters. Just my opinion, as an avid romance enjoyer, this feels kind of badly done.
But the show is enjoyable. At the very least its more interesting than most reverse harems, or isekais, but it's left me disappointed because it had so much potential and was let down a bit.

I began this anime with high hopes, that a world without rain would have a lot of issues that could create interesting challenges for the MC. But as soon as enter the world, it's established that there are no issues with getting fresh water or anything. The main character is only there for the King's entertainment. Okay, that might not be my favorite writing choice but I don't know where it will lead. Then we meet the king. HE'S 12. SHE IS 17. wtf dude. This is some pedo sh*t. I held onto a hope that maybe they have no romantic interactions until they're both
...
adults, or meet again in the future, but no. THEY KISS. He has the body of a ten-year-old boy, and yet they show scenes where he is nude (not fully exposed but still), where he makes sexual jokes, and they try to paint it as normal because he's "mature for his age". The characters often bring up "he's just a kid". I was confused as to why nobody seemed to mention his age in reviews. it would be so easy to just age the FL down or the ML up. It wouldn't affect the characters at all. Not to mention two evil characters try to RAPE a girl, and in the next scene they're helping the mc because beating them up made them "learn their lesson", and they're used as comedic relief. I'm disappointed in this anime, it has a great fantasy concept and spoils it with normalizing pedophilia. Disgusting af. Sorry for anyone looking for a cool fantasy/romance, it's not this one.

I came here for a romance that grew in a place where it wasn't expected. Instead, in the first scene I am met with physical and verbal abuse, the male lead (who I am somehow expected to like) sexually assaulting the female lead. He has no empathy towards her, and only shows her any sort of kindness after she reminds him of someone he once cared for. It's a toxic, abusive relationship, and made me feel sick. How are we accepting writing where it's shown that it's okay to assault someone? How on earth is that romantic?
I wouldn't recommend anyone watch this unless you're interested

in seeing people suffer. This is likely very triggering, fortunately, it wasn't for me. But I also especially do not recommend anyone under 18 watch this. It is not healthy or romantic. It only gets a point for pretty animation.
