This show's tagline should be: 'do you remember the explosion girl from Konosuba? (of course you do, you perverts) well, here's more!'. With one of the most explosive intros in anime history, Megumin makes her triumphant return to the small screen... or not?

Animation: 7
Standard grade from Konosuba and it's consistent all the way.

Story: 7.5
This show starts low and ends high, fellas. We got a few major arcs. The first arc is a school arc which quite honestly blows. Second mini-arc is the after-school special and then we get Arcanletia and the real fun begins. After that one we get Axel which is the best ...

Clannad Movie (Anime) add
Remember Clannad? Ever thought the drama was too forced and the ending was too lame? Well this might be for you...

Animation: 7

I honestly can't tell if this movie was made in 2007 or 1977 at times, the directing is so old-school that it harkens back to the days of Tohoscope flicks such as Mystery of Mamo and Golgo 13. Not that I'm complaining.

Story: 6/10

Delinquent duo Tomoya Okazaki and Youhei Sunohara are two down on their luck poor sods dealt a bad hand at high school until they meet the main heroine of the VN, Nagisa Furukawa. From there we get a sweet movie about ...

Preliminary (6/12 eps)
Remember how at the end of Denpa Onna you wished there were more? Well, there is... not. This show probably baited you and me into thinking it would be the spiritual successor of that show but that could not be further from the truth. Why lie to us, Iruma Hitoma?

Animation: 6
It's competent but as generic as it gets. It's your run-of-the-mill 2020s production with all the bells and whistles included. It's not an ugly show but nothing that stands out.

Story: 3/10
Introducing Adachi. Adachi has two brain cells and one of them is always thinking about the show's heroine: Shimamura. They go on dates together and ...

Denpa Onna... how could be that such a breath-taking show is currently at 7.13 on MAL? It seems like it just gets better with age!

Animation: 10
It's SHAFT at the height of their powers, fresh off surrealist masterpieces like the entire SZS trilogy/OVAs and Bakemonogatari. If I am not mistaken this is also pre-Madoka. Head tilts galore!

Story: denpa/10
Makoto Niwa's your average country schmuck that gets relocated to the big city to live with his Aunt after his parents decided to move away or something, doesn't matter, the author just needed an excuse for this setup and this is it. When he gets there, he encounters the ...

Rec (Anime) add
This is how you make a real romance anime.

Rec is a show that's always been on my radar but somehow I never got around watching it until now, 17 years after it originally aired. It's a SHAFT show from before it was well-known for SZS, Monogatari and Madoka.

Story's as follows, Fumihiko Matsumaru's an down in his luck salaryman that just got dumped by his crush on a movie date. He's about to give up and go home but then he meets a girl that insists to go with him. A few hours later and her house burned down and now she moves in with ...

Mixed Feelings
Surprisingly to date nobody has done a review on this anthology.

The "Haruhi Comic Anthology" (or as Yen Press published it, Celebration of Haruhi Suzumiya) is as the title suggests, a manga anthology of various mangaka as a homage to the Haruhi series. Most stories are 4 pages long and are usually some unfunny gag (the comic about puns made no sense) or some character interaction referencing the show.

As it stands this anthology is a resolute 'blah' all around, by this point Haruhi-chan had already been on serialization and it did everything this manga wanted to but better. Quite a shame on how this franchise ...

Preliminary (7/12 eps)
This is a terrible show.

From these words alone, you may think this is worthless trash (I mean looking at the show's description and MAL image it looks horrible) but this couldn't be further from the truth.

A nameless protagonist is blackmailed by his annoying sister to beat some third-rate otome game that makes absolutely no sense at all (like most otaku crap these days, I figure), and after many weeks of enduring the grueling pain that such works entail he finished his quest. That is until he trips off the stairs of his apartment and dies.

As the rule of genre goes the man is reincarnated as ...
