The season 1 was fine, the pace is good without dragging too much of the back stories of each heroes. Sometime you also feel sad about their back stories. As mention, the pace is good and the back stories isn't too long.
However, when the season 2 starts, you are like getting a dejavu feeling. You will thought that the Spear hero will finally fight the Sword hero, but NO NO NO. The plot stopped, no longer advancing.

To be honest, I think the "MC" of this movie is just so wrong. Why Miyagi of all people? Out of all 5 people the most mysterious is definitely Rukawa, he pretty much has ZERO background beside basketball is everything to him. We at least know some background about Miyagi already, the MC should be Rukawa instead for the reason why he is the most persistent against being the best of the best in basketball.

So many hastily unfulfilled plot points that were tied up in an absolutely horrificly unsatisfying way. The way the loose ends and plot holes were lazily concluded was jawdropping. Added clichés where they didn't need to be. Forced a happy ending for a happy endings sake, not for a good story.
