I tried this show on a whim not expecting to like it at all, why did I not expect to like it? Well - because I don't usually like anime shows that have things like "elf bride" in the title, no offence to people who do....but generally shows like that are not my thing.
But even from the first episode of this I knew I had made a poor assumption about the quality of this show, it is really good!
- interesting magic / power mechanics
- solid world building
- complex characters (even if it doesn't seem that way at first)
- even side characters seem interesting
- really funny
...

Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song is a fantastic anime with great sci fi themes, exciting action, heart felt moments, beautiful music, and some of the most amazing animation / art you will ever see. Of course the show has some flaws, some may feel frustrated with the way in which the show delivers plot points at certain times and there may be times when some could feel overwhelmed by a fast pace, but ultimately I believe that most will come away feeling like they watched something special and found a new beloved character in Vivy. I look forward to watching more animation by ...

I am new to anime and I recently watched the show Violet Evergarden. I consider it to be a remarkable 10/10 show because of the emotional impact it had on me, and a lot of that came from seeing Violet's journey and development - overall I was very happy with the conclusion the anime show provided for Violet. Of course we always want to see more of a great thing, that is only human nature, but we should only see more if it remains respectful to what came before...
