Wholesome genre of Anime
Wholesomeness as described by the Cambridge Dictionary is something good for you, and likely to improve your life either physically, morally, or emotionally. To me on a personal level, wholesomeness is a powerful force that binds warmth, beauty and meaning into a complex emotion that I am incredibly weak to, yet I seek it regardless wherever I go as it moves me to always be and do better. Amongst the anime I watched, this bunch left me with more warmth at their end then most other ever could. Some of these may be a bit goofy, or weird or slow, but I believe that they will bring warmth to others as well. The last one is a special case to me, as someone who aims to become an accomplished artist one day. As for the reason behind this selection existing in the first place, you can thank Ojiro Makoto, the wholesome mangaka and her beautiful works of art "Fujiyama-san's Adolescence", "Chion-san of the Cat Temple" and "Insomniacs After School" that ill always keep close to my heart
