In the sea of unoriginal, generic and uninspired trash the isekai genre routinely pumps out, Kono Suba was, and continues to be (upon rewatch) a refreshing and charming parody that simultaneously mocks it's peers, and indulges in the troupes of the genre in more effective and entertaining ways. I genuinely do not think they could have cast better voice actors for the main characters, and their chemistry amongst each other is irresistible. If I had one criticism it would be the oversexualization of some of the characters, specifically Darkness, her ongoing gag is a little too much sometimes, and makes for some uncomfortable moments that
