WARNING! This spin-off follows the Light Novel and is much further ahead of the manga and anime. So if you don't want certain elements to be spoiled. Steer clear.
As of April 22, 2024, this spin-off has been officially discontinued due to the author's health.
This story follows a female rabbit-beastmen whose unique skill allows her to analyze things with much detail. This ability interests Rimuru who wants her to make a guidebook on the city/nation of Tempest.
So much like the Slime Diaries spin-off, this is a slice-of-life style story following the shenanigans of many known characters of the series. It is very entertaining if you wish
...
for more shenanigans of the side characters. However, timeline-wise, this story jumps around a bit where it mentions plot points that already happened and shows characters that were introduced via Light Novel and will not cover it in the spin-off itself.
Again, if you don't mind spoilers or already know the gist of what's going to happen in the manga/anime, then it's worth a read.

This takes place between Season 1 & Season 2.
A 3-episode "arc" where Rimuru tries to resolve a dispute within a kingdom but uncovers a conspiracy. Sound familiar? (Scarlet Bond movie)
So it's no secret that Fuze (the author) have been making spin-offs left and right to milk the popularity of the series as much as possible as he's nearing the end of the Light Novel. This is one of those.
Story-wise, it's been done before within the series, even down to the tropes and lack of stakes or tension. Honestly, it's just something they put out to tide people over till the next season's release and to
...
give an "early" look at Luminous and Violet for fanservice reasons.
Are you missing out on anything important by not watching this? No, but you still might enjoy this if you're one of those people who would consume anything regarding this series.

A girl who returns to a certain point in time every time she dies, who then uses her previous knowledge to try different paths in life until her 7th "time loop" where she's engaged to her "worst enemy"
It's a pretty straightforward Otome/Shoujo. I've heard some people also call it a "villainess" anime for some reason but they're obviously wrong.
Personally, the premise was interesting but as the anime went on, it became very formulaic and obvious with what tropes they were going for and I began to lose interest by the end.
As is standard in a lot of these Otome shows, the female lead has the
...
"kill them with kindness" personality and the main male love interest is a "dark but ultimately thoughtful" guy who is head-over-heels infatuated with the female lead.
The female lead uses her knowledge in her previous loops to gather the people she interacted with in the past under her wing as she wants to either improve their lot in life, benefit from their eventual success, or prevent tragedy from happening. However since she already knew the personal details of the people she's trying to help and already knew several life skills, it comes off as "just another power fantasy" anime. She doesn't really struggle with anything and the majority of plot has already been handled off-screen as she planned ahead of time due to her prior knowledge.
Again, it's a very standard cute-ish Otome/Shoujo anime with pretty art/animation but if you're looking for any emotional investment or any suspenseful conflict, this is not the anime for you.

This movie was boring, straight up. I'm very glad I did not see this in theatres.
Honestly, this movie felt like everything wrong with Tensei shitara Slima Datta Ken/That time I got reincarnated as a Slime.
tl;dr
- Everything gets resolved super quickly, there's no stakes or tension.
- Rimuru just solves everything and nothing can challenge him
- The fight scenes weren't anything special and I'm pretty sure that even the TV show's fights got this beat
- The art looked really weird and bad a lot of the times
The main interesting conflict regarding Benimaru's older brother, Hiro, who survives the Ogre massacre and comes back for revenge against the
...
Orcs but gets IMMEDIATELY resolved and he instantly forgives the Orcs just cause Benimaru is cool with it.
The whole conflict with the Queen and her powers from the crown felt pointless and without tension as Rimuru just solves it instantly and the outside(-ish) interference and main source of the crown, Ultima/Violet, is handled elsewhere by Diablo. Even the fight between Violet and Diablo was boring as hell despite these two being primordial demons or whatever.
Even at the end when Hiro loses his life, Queen Towa uses the last of the crown's power to bring him back which causes her to die, ONLY to have her life be saved because Ultima/Violet decides to do her a solid, back-to-back. Absolutely NO stakes or consequences at all.
Very strange decisions regarding that since apparently this movie isn't canon but characters like Benimaru's older brother is canon.

Overall a pretty disappointing season. If you're somehow a fan of the Sword/Shield games and its characters, you're not really gonna get much out of this season in regards to that but I still recommend watching this season as this is essentially the last we'll see of Ash as the main character (Plus his 11-episode post-story specials).
Pokemon (2019) + Ultimate Journeys has Ash/Satoshi visit the Galar region to participate in the World Championship. His companions this time are: Go/Goh, a "second Ash" as the original advertising describes him & Koharu/Chloe, the "Misty" or female companion of the season.
- Goh kind of sucks. He's been
...
a largely mixed-opinions character in the show despite his enormous presence as Ash's companion. His main focus is catching Pokemon to somewhat contrast Ash's Pokemon Battling focus.
- Koharu/Chloe is rarely around. Despite being the female companion of the show, she's actually has very little screen time. She often just stays at a research lab with her Eevee and occasionally has a focused episode on her Eevee meeting its various evolutions.
- Many past characters and companions of Ash return for a short episode or arc often replacing Koharu/Chloe as Ash's companion.
Despite it being a Galar focused season, we've actually been visiting a lot of other places and focused on other region's Pokemon. Even notable Galarian characters get very little screen time or none at all.
- Bea & Allister were the only Galarian Gym leaders to have their own little arc
- Raihan, Opal, & Marnie got at least 1 episode of focus and everything else was just background stuff
- Everyone else like Hop was basically either background characters or non-existant
- Chairman Rose and his crappy "antagonist" role from the games is here but then gets quickly resolved in less than 6 episodes it felt like
- Leon has a bit of a presence as he's the main champion of the World Championship and had quite a bit of screen time
- Sonia had a bit of a presence early on but then was relegated to a background role
The weird thing is that we had quite a few gag/filler & even recap episodes with Goh/Ash's pokemon getting into shenanigans or made-up scenarios and Team Rocket's really bad & pointless filler episodes that could've have been better used as actual episodes with more Galarian characters or doing more with all the past guest characters that showed up.
Anyways the main story was Ash working his way up the rankings to participate in the World Championships but the World Championships themselves was actually lacking and suffered in-real-life production issues despite being a tournament of Champions.
- Many of the early Champion vs Champion battles were simple 3on3 Pokemon battles that felt like you were watching the video game version of a Pokemon battle as each battle ended just as fast as the next with Pokemon quickly One-shotting each other
- The only battles that felt like they put in effort with the ones where Ash was facing down someone
- Again, production issues were very apparent as there were episode delays and recap episodes and even skipping over a whole Champion vs Champion battle between Diantha & Leon
- I'm sure everyone has heard of Ash winning against the undefeated champion Leon by now but it was a bit of a cop-out victory as Ash was allowed to use all 3 gimmicks (Dynamax, Mega Evolution, & Z-Crystal) because Leon wanted to a hype final match (he only used Dynamax). The match was somewhat interfered with by Eternatus who had to regulate all the Dynamax energy whatever which recharged both Leon & Ash's Dynamax bands which let them Dynamax an additional time
- Once again, it definitely felt like they put all the effort and budget into Ash's battles especially during that last bit against Leon but by comparison the other Champion vs Champion battles felt even more lackluster because of it.
So Ash is the World Champion winning with his best pal and true ace, Pikachu at the confirmed canon age of TEN YEARS OLD. Everyone keeps making the jokes about Ash's canon age and the fact that he completed his ENTIRE JOURNEY IN UNDER A YEAR despite it not making any sense time-wise.

A romantic comedy about the Red Ranger/Sentai and the villainess lieutenant dating while attempting to keep it secret from everyone around them.
Basically you should know exactly what you're getting into after reading that brief summary. It's cute and adorable but it's also very cliché and full of tropes but you'll enjoy it anyways. I know I did. The first episode is so-so but it quickly picks up right after.
You get a nice idea about Fudo's (The Red Sentai) teammates personalities but they actually don't do much in the anime. Whereas Desumi's (the Reaper Villainess) coworkers and friends actually get much more screen time and development
...
and they're all very enjoyable and funny.
It's a fun RomCom, it's lighthearted, it's cute, it's straightforward, and it's only 12 episodes. Give it a shot.

Whew! Talk about hype! About 2/3rds of the season's episodes somehow ends on a cliffhanger and keeps you wanting more. Even at the end!
Coming straight after the movie (or the not-as-good Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Arc anime) the story just keeps going as if there was no wait in-between. Which is, in my opinion, great for pacing. Nothing ever fills like filler, always moving forward with the story and sprinkling just enough "fun" moments in-between it all.
The art and animation are superb as always coming from Ufotable but the unsung hero of it all is the AMAZING sound design and score that complements all the
...
action not even including the just-as-amazing voice acting.
No one and I mean NO ONE is gonna complain about the voice acting here, easily 10/10 performances out of everyone.
As usual, anything very popular (especially shounen) gets a large amount of criticisms and complaints but those same people hardly ever complain about shows like One Piece, 86, Carole & Tuesday, or any slice-of-life anime for the same reasons. If you're watching this, especially now, you know what you're in for. Great action, great emotions (both excitement and tear-jerkers), great music, and great voice acting.
Shounen is like the "chibi art" of anime. It has mass appeal and is deceptively simple. Those who complain about it are often envious of both the writer and the artist. Plus Season 3 was already announced so there's no avoiding it!
tl;dr Definitely worth watching over and over again!

Outside of the first episode, you're honestly better off just watching the movie. It's just a far better experience for the same story.
- The art and animation is the same
- The story and plot-points are still the same
- The voice acting is almost the same, but it's great (I think the English Dub is actually better)
- The soundtrack is slightly different but it's still great
I really still enjoyed the anime but the movie was just overall a better experience. I don't understand why they "needed" to do a 7 episode recap of the movie over 2 months outside of big

money earnings but here we are.

I hope you like hearing Towa screaming "SETSUNA!" a lot because she does... a lot.
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS
I've seen & finished both the manga and anime of Inuyasha + The Final Act. So I have prior knowledge of background & character information.
- The story starts off pretty decent but then stagnates significantly up until a few important episodes. There are more questions than answers even by the end of the season.
- Moroha does very little throughout the season as the show mainly focuses on Towa and Setsuna. Even Moroha's solo-focused episode comes off as poorly forced-in.
- Very little blood is shown; all the monsters
...
just disintegrates when killed, only a few stab wounds and bleeding from the mouth is shown
- They play the flashback with Towa and Setsuna separating when they were kids A LOT. I'm serious. It's always the same flashback and Towa getting all serious about not separating from Setsuna ever again.
- Pacing is slow, it'll sprinkle in a few hints & scenes about past characters but don't expect any answers or much screentime involving them this season.
- Character motivations (Both main & side characters) are confusing & often jump from one objective to another. Often ignoring their original intent up until it comes up and even then not do anything.
It's an okay anime but it's very clearly just a large set-up season for all the (potentially) good stuff that's going to happen next season as Season 2 was announced immediately after the last episode aired.

Very comfy, slow-paced isekai with a good bit of action about some dude who died and reincarnated as a Slime. Despite its slow-burn, I very much enjoyed the light-hearted humor and situations the main character gets in.
There's nothing really bad I could say about this anime, just some minor nitpicks. Like how everyone is unrealistically understanding and the Slime, Rimuru, manages to talk down to most everyone into doing things his way.
Nearly every adversary or antagonist of Rimuru has their minor "victim of circumstances" backstory and gets their second chance one way or another and becomes a better person because of it.
It's a pretty slow-burn
...
anime with many problems that go away through understanding and trust but near the end there are sparks and hints of possible conflict and issues in the future past Season 1 that seem like it won't be solved through talking.
