Yuzuki-san Chi no Yonkyoudai felt like a bandage for my soul wounds. It was like a warm tea in a cold and rainy evening. And I loved this show with my whole existence.
Starting off from characters: yes, they all feel kind of flat and don't break the traits they were given from the very beginning. But they don't need to. These brothers and their ginger friends don't have to feel like humans, or to be extraordinary to love them. They surely are too kind and understanding to be real. Yet at the same time they show jealousy, envy, fear, trauma, sadness, fomo, and other rather
...
humane feelings.
Plot is pretty simple. We hear different day-to-day stories of brothers about growing up, caring for other people, spreading the wings, troubles with becoming an adult and of course dealing with death. I am afraid of death and I kind of feel it crawling down my spine. Therefore, you can understand the anxiety I live in for a long time. Even so I enjoyed this anime. I, maybe, felt understood and hugged.
Animation is beautiful. Truly beautiful. Not only in colours and gorgeous characters art, but also in different forms the studio used to deliver complexity of different emotions.
Summing up, I do I DO recommend this show to everyone who seeks an enjoyable, kind and warm-hearted watch. Hug your inner child!

Kekkai Sensen peaked my interest because of the soundtrack. And let me tell you, that was one of the best jazzy and blues-y OSTs I've ever heard. Additionally, I'd added soundtrack to the second season last year, not knowing that it was made for this show (yes, I'm gonna watch next season too).
I LOVED the friendship between Leo, Zapp and Zed. This was the best thing in the whole show tbh. Their dark bloody humour balancing the naive Leo's, arrogant Zapp's and straightforward Zed's natures. Nonetheless, other characters didn't catch my eye, sadly (as well, as the art - it wasn't something wauw).
Coming to the
...
plot, I wouldn't say it was something genius, but I still loved it. I could sense (maybe I'm overthinking) how the series represented family issues, wars, human traffic, racism and all other social issues. Some might say that cruelty had no purpose, and the fight, the blood was spilled literally for nothing. Even so, wasn't that the whole philosophy of Hellsalem's Lot? People and creatures behaved as they wanted to simply because they wanted to, nothing less nothing more. Doesn't that remind you how we all live and how the world still functions?
"A world where a child can call himself the King of Despair, is one that is far too sad!" - couldn't agree more. And with that I'll quickly finish my review.
I 100% recommend to watch Bekkai Sensen, but only if you have an open mind and can clearly see the world we live in. If you can see the parallels, while enjoying supernatural fights and over-the-top jokes - you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

Futago was a good read for an evening! I loved the art-style (has some similar vibes with Nana and Paradise Kiss for me) and how humane the whole story was.
We can see the development of each character, even if this manga is really short. Starting with sisters, that went back and forth from housewives to hard-workers. Why they were twins with so many differences? And how people perceive them.
We can also see the developments in male characters, that, of course, break some hearts in order to understand their feelings and emotions. At least, I'm thankful they figured they heart and mind out. That's what,
...
basically, makes this manga so real and natural.
It's not the best out there. But still give it a try and you won't regret it.

THE WAY I GASPED IN THE LAST EPISODE WHEN "THAT PERSON" WAS REVEALED. Yes, I'll start strongly from the very end of the show.
But let's get back to the review itself. Genre-wise it is a gem in the world of mystery and drama. There are a lot of questions that have to be talked about: starting from resource limitations and distribution, political games, ignorance, revolutions, and ending with trivial human relationship problems. Along with the complex issues we are given the riddles to solve and answers to find ourselves.
Characters are magnetic. Yes, at some point you can feel like they're flat and
...
two-dimensional. But by the end of the show, you see how compounded they are. Niino is the best friend and just an ordinary human who is willing to share his life with the close ones. Mauve, the Queen with the greatest mind, shiny hair, and will so strong that any men could compare. 5 Chiefs with their deep love for the hometowns and nation itself. Lotta, who is too naive and kind for this world. And Jean, with his ignorant face I was screaming out loud seeing the flow of emotions just behind his gaze.
I might be (and I surely am) biased, but the art is superb I just love how sharp the people are, while the scenery and surroundings are kind of round-ish and tender. This contrast of colors and forms just made the whole feeling of the show kind of edgy (which suits mysteries and detective, ofc). Additionally, ost is alluring, Jazzy and bluesy notes were created for puzzles.
As a person who loves expressionism, jazz, and good psychology books, I would surely recommend watching ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka. This was a meditative yet tense experience.

I think this'll be the shortest review I've written. Therefore, "Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri". If I consider this as a comedy and detective - it was quite good, I laughed a lot and tried to guess the mysteries with them (sometimes even simultaneously guessed which imo is not an advantage for the series of this genre). The art is beautiful (I'm just a fan of handsome feminine men and bossy women). The OST is good. And the plot smoothly adds some main mysteries we still have to solve in the season 2.
However, was it worthy of my time? Not sure.
Would I recommend you
...
to watch it? 2 options:
1) yes, if you're looking for something simple and enjoyable to some extent
2) no in all other cases.
You get to choose.

"Eden of The East" kinda left me with mixed emotions. Not gonna lie, I don't understand my feeling after finishing this anime. The big point of the show is pretty clear – talking about shaking up the economy, the whole old gen vs. new gen drama, and how messed up the work/study/life grind can be. But, it also felt like there were a bunch of holes in the story that just didn’t get filled (yes, I'll watch other 2 movies hoping that it'll explain everything, but truth be told, I wish I wouldn't). You know, these are 2 types of show that leave you hanging:
1)
...
ones that are perfectly made from the first time and just leave you with impression of wanting more
2) ones that are made in a good way, but miss a lot of important information for whatever reason. And you have to watch other parts just to get to the point. This is where "Eden of The East" belongs.
The soundtrack, though? Absolute fire. The music vibes were a mix of old-school cool and nostalgic new tunes that really set the mood. THE ENDING SONG IN THE 11TH EPISODE WAS MAJESTIC. Gotta find it on Spotify.
And the characters – they were really interesting. Seeing their perspectives and getting why they’d go to extremes, like plotting to take people out or launching missiles, was intense. It’s like, sometimes tearing down and starting fresh seems like the only way to change things up. But it's just the easier way (which I would take for sure).
So yeah, despite the plot holes dragging it down a bit, I’d still say give "Eden of The East" a watch. It’s got its moments, for sure.

"Noragami" was actually pretty good to my surprise. Ngl, at first, I was kinda meh about it and almost decided to drop the show. But then, things got real with Yukine’s character, Yato's motivation and I was like, “Okay, now we’re talking.” So, yeah, definitely wait it out a bit if it doesn’t grab you right away. So, if you start watching and feel a bit twisted, just hang in there because it surely gets better.
What I really ended up loving was the humor and the whole friendship angle (also a big respect to the translators and English subtitles, I was laughing a lot). The
...
way the characters interact and grow together adds a lot of warmth to the story. Plus, the dynamics between them are just chef's kiss, making for some genuinely funny and touching moments. I even cried few times, I guess I'm still weak for such cliches.
If you're in the mood for something that's got a perfect mix of warmth, HUMOR, and a bit of supernatural intrigue, "Noragami" is worth a watch. Just give it a bit of time to show you what it's got.

I feel like how much I'm starving for healthy love stories, there's a dark corner in my soul that needs a bit of toxic relationships and I'm eternally glad for such mangas exist.
First things first, the art in this manga is everything! I'm can't say I'm fashion girly myself, but I'm into stories about fashion and design, and the showbiz world, and the way they're all shown in "The One" is perfect for me. It has this vintage, edgy, and totally romantic style that I'm totally obsessed with. Don't even get me started on the male characters – their gorgeous, feminine features are eye-catching
...
and breath-taking!
Now, the plot isn't exactly groundbreaking or unique. It's something you would expect from a manga set in the worlds of art, fashion, and showbiz – lots of drama in every chapter. Sometimes the drama felt forced, and I couldn't really relate to the characters. But, you know what? It's kind of fresh to read something just for the pleasure of it, without looking for deep life lessons.
I really appreciated the slow character development. Watching them grow and evolve over time was great. The manga also addresses different aspects of sexuality and gender complexities, which was pretty forward-thinking for its time and feels a lot relevant now.
But let's be real – not everything in this manga is good. One big issue for me (and I'm highlighting it's just my personal preference) was how it sometimes made it seem like sexual harassment and abuse were okay if it's called "love" or "protection". Some of the ways the male characters acted to "protect" their close ones were just not okay and pretty upsetting. Just a kind reminder, "The One" isn't about teaching healthy relationship vibes, but this part was kinda hard to ignore.
So, would I recommend "The One"? Yes, but... Read it, enjoy it. However don't forget to keep a clear head about it. It's important to separate the fantasy of the manga from the reality of what healthy relationships should look like.

To be utterly honest I started this manhwa just because I thought it would be cheeky cliche romance with some love-triangles or something like that. But man oh man! I can't remember the time I cried so much.
One of the most important focuses of "Seasons of Blossom" is how it tackles the issue of bullying, cruelty and corrupted system of most countries. This topic is handled with such sensitivity and realism that it felt like almost real. This webtoon doesn't just show the pain and struggles caused by bullying but also the journey towards healing and standing up for oneself. It's truly inspiring to
...
see characters find their voice and confidence to confront their bullies.
The theme of standing up not only for oneself but also for others is another heart-warming point of manhwa. It's about finding the courage to support those who can't defend themselves, which adds a layer of depth to the characters and their relationships. Because, ignorance isn't a bliss and being ignorant equals being cruel.
And you can't go anywhere without love and friendship, right? Don't be scared. If you're looking for cheeky scenes, enemies-to-lovers, "fake dating" and all other tropes - you can find them perfectly mixed here.
The way the story unfolds with every page is just heavenly. It's so smooth and raw like a warm water in the summer sea that just wraps around you with each chapter. One of the best things about "Seasons of Blossom" is how it connects together the stories of all its characters. It's like they're all destined by this invisible thread of life and fate, and it's done so brilliantly.
Reading it felt like being back a high-schooler again. I went through all the emotions – happiness, sadness, anger, hatred and that rush of first love. It's a story that really stays with you because of how true it is to life.
So, if you're looking for a manhwa that's not just about romance but also about overcoming challenges, building confidence, and the power of friendship, "Seasons of Blossom" is perfect.

Starting off with the art of "Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun" because, honestly, it's BEAUTIFUL! The vibrant color palette, the collage-style animation, and the eye-catching scenes are all so lovely (?). It's something I'd want to capture with a camera or have as a wallpaper on my phone ..going to Pinterest to find good ones..
The OST is another 10/10 in the anime. The opening is now one of my favourites.
I also really enjoyed the humour in the show. Yes, the setting might feel a bit childish. No wonder, since it's high-school. But the jokes are absolutely at their peak. "Chotto eroi" made me giggle a lot of
...
times, maybe I need some help.
HOWEVER, when it comes to the characters and the whole storytelling, I was left wanting more. The anime kind of felt like an introduction that left a lot of questions unanswered. It made me curious enough to want to read the manga, not because the anime was complete in itself, but because I felt like there was so much more to the story that I was missing out on.
Same with the characters. They all have their own charm and catchy traits, but I felt that the anime didn't show enough about them.
So, would I recommend "Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun"? Of course, especially if you're looking for some stunning art and a bit of light-hearted humour. Yet don't expect something deep and/or flashy. As for me, I'm starting reading the manga. The anime stroked my nerve enough to make me want to find out more about Hanako, Yashiro, Minamoto-twins and others.
