Izumi's mother by far resembles my own mother from any motherly figure I've come across in anime, her selfless caring nature for her son, her soft spoken tone, her unconditional love, her constant worrying over her sons wellbeing, thinking of her son no matter what even if she's midst fun herself. The above staement embodies the show. I found myself smiling and giggling as saw the show went on. I'll spare you the details but to make it brief, it shows us the perspective of a young man who becomes a kindergarten teacher and finds himself a pleasant surprise: at the receiving end of the kids affection but oblivious to his blessing, he adores his co worker the kira kira eloquent sensei that teaches the kids in the class next to him. Lets get this out the way, I found myself having to pause almost every chapter due to my 'son' going on a rampage; that is to say that Maken-Ki! is chalk full of super ero scenes (damn near hentai level) thus why i gave a 10/10 enjoyment because of my guilty pleasure of trashy ecchi mangas. The story on the other hand (7/10) for an artist who has done nothing but hentai all his life was surprisingly decent but kind of felt empty at times as well as the author Takeda Hiromitsu's obsession with NTR which some might find triggering and if so then this

It's not very common I find myself bursting out in laughter as I read page after page non stop. Love the terrifyingly goofy funny faces, heck even remembering it makes me laugh so much like rn. Art style is amazing & characters; enjoyment is bound. My only gripe is that the story is slow in terms of the romantic aspect. A while ago they announced the love ark and to my surprise there has been no development in relationships (apart from realising which female feels what towards whoever) which was a huge let down.
