Mixed Feelings
As much as I like Re: Zero, the 1st half of the 2nd season is somewhat of a letdown. When people say it’s better than season 1, it’s hard to believe them. The 1st season had a lot more characters and stories, while this one has just 1 arc, which very overrated & over-hyped. The whole setting of this half is the same exact place, which can be boring for viewers, & the cast remains mostly the same.

The best part is the 1st episode, which shows us 2 archbishops straight off the gate, & a short but cool fight. Subaru crying in this episode ...

The show simply is about a college student who gets teleported to a different world (isekai) in order to protect it, but his only weapon is a shield.

I 1st heard about those show when it came out, as there were ‘news’ articles attacking it. The reason? It shows false rape accusations can happen and can have very real consequences. We can’t have that.

Anyway, usually titles that outrage SJW’s turn out well, and boy, did this turn turn out to be 1 hell of an anime. The journalists making a fuss about it turned my attention towards this show, & I have to ...

Ayu Mayu (Manga) add
“For my imouto!” - Toyokawa Yousuke

Similar to Yomeiro-Choice and especially Shinshi (Gentleman) na Meets Girl, this manga is an extremely funny romantic comedy. Despite being cut too short, Ayu Mayu wraps up loose ends pretty well. There were some things that could have been done better, but the author is excused. However, the premise is exciting, and the story does not get dull, as surprises appear, and emotions develop.

The story revolves around Toyokawa Yousuke, a poor student who got separated from his little sister when he was a kid. Now that he is in high school, he decides to go look for her, and understands ...

This manga, what was it called, "Meet Me on the Highest Floor," "Sweep My Feet off the Highest Floor" (that did not sound right), or something along those lines (I had a hard time looking for it on my list to review), has only one thing going for it: Being a one-shot. That is a sarcastic way for me to say that it was terrible. I cannot say this is the worst manga ever, though, thanks to doujinshi, which is why I struggled not to give it an even score worse than I already have. Usually, "enjoyment" is the highest among my scores, but here, ...

Ichigo 100% (Manga) add
"The Times, They Are Achanging"

When I first saw strawberries after reading Ichigo (Strawberry) 100%, I just had to laugh, remembering Manaka Junpei and his strawberry-ful problems. This is the longest and one of the first manga I have finished. First off, I have to say, the anime does not do the manga justice. The former may be more flashy, but it is ruined by bad artwork, seiyuu, soundtrack and overall portrayal. On the other hand, the latter might be less colorful, but it is fortified with good length, character designs, drama and romance. Definitely read the manga first; it has the complete story from the ...

"A lot of stories about first love are about to begin."

Also, a lot of love triangles are about unfold. Hatsukoi (First Love) Limited. is basically a group of short stories about middle- and high-schoolers dealing with their first love that are somehow connected. The problem is, any of those couples could have their own show, and one or two episodes about them are just not enough. Still, the anime does turn out all right, with humour, sexiness, and drama included; not to mention romance, of course. Like I said in the forum, episode 9 is far and away my favorite, as it is the most ...

Preliminary (18/41 chp)
The word "funny" does not even begin to describe Yomeiro-Choice (Choose the Color of Your Wife). Seriously, this manga will make you cry out of laughter, with over-the-top hilarity. However, it does not fall to what some comedy series do; that is, complete, pure comedy beyond stopping. No, there is a good amount of drama that goes along the series, without being ruined by inappropriate jokes, and one can really learn from those moments.

A high-school student, Sakuraga Saku, is often bullied by his childhood friend, Karin, who sometimes helps him with his homework. Lately, though, Karin has become pushy about going to Saku's place, which ...

"The One Minute Which Has Been Stopped"

Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora (Looking Up at the Half-Moon) is an anime that unusually has a hospital setting for the most part. When I found this, I was looking for recommendations to Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (The Eternity You Wish for) (I think, or it must have been Ef - a Tale of Memories/Melodies.), hoping to find a tragic story (which is hard to do), and this seemed to fit the bill. Though I thought it was a pretty good series, I was actually disappointed by how it ended (I will leave it at that to avoid ...
