This is my first time writing a review so Idk if I am doing this right or wrong but anyways lets proceed
As you already might have read the plot the story revolves around our mc Watashi who keeps regretting about how he wasted his 2 years of campus life [did he though? watch the series to know ;)] and how he would have lived the same life in a better way if hadn't met this guy named Ozu[would he have though? again another reason for you to watch it ;)]
While first watching this anime u might be thinking why are they showing all this ,why
...
are you even watching it? you might even think about dropping the show but no DON'T as when you keep approaching towards the end you will we amazed by how perfectly everything gets connected by the conclusion of the story.
This is one of those animes which when you complete it you will realise how you enjoyed each and every second of the show as you get how everything made sense in the end(Ex:Monogatari)
The cast of the show is really great.I don't think you will find anyone to hate after you have completed the show,I personally love everyone in the show except one guy lol.Eventhough we don't get to see any other characters' point of view except Watashi's, I still didn't think the other characters were overlooked upon.
The Opening and Ending of this show are absolutely Subarashii(tried so hard to skip but couldn't xD)
Also let's take a minute to appreciate the simple yet beautiful animation.Personally, I didn't think a studio like Madhouse who specialises in amazingly detailed animation would make something so plain and unique.
Again, I would like to say about the conclusion that it couldn't have made me any happier.The way it concluded left me speechless.
Lastly I would like to end my review by leaving the quote which affected me the most from the anime:-
