It's pretty mediocre. It's heavily focused on the romance theme compared to the author's previous works which weaved in drama, suspense, and humor excellently. Renai Daikou is about a girl and guy who are both getting advice from "love agents". The guy is faking it till he makes it, acting like a shy, introverted bookworm. The girl has trust issues and hates delinquents, which although the guy isn't, he gives off the spitting image of one.

figure out that the girl has trust issues because her mom had an affair, and instead of sticking with her dad, she chose the former instead. Not only that, she's traumatized because her dad died sometime after, and her mom basically has a handle over her whole life. By chapter 10, the guy gives up the shy kid act because he contemplates the future consequences of building a relationship off of lies, so the girl gives up on him without a second glance and goes after his love agent instead. The girl's love agent opts to have her try out every single guy out there so that she can find out what she likes in a man, rather than trying to mend the relationship or think things through. TBH, I think the story is going to either be a huge joke, or actually pretty good, depending on how it continues to flow after the hiatus until September. Personally, I found it baffling that the love agent makes the girl with trust issues, in regards to relationships and affairs, go the "non-committal" route. It kind of writes itself as foreshadowing that she might end up cheating or three-timing a bunch of guys herself in the future.
The other issue is that the story runs in two parallel lines at the same time. You have the drama between the two leads and you also have the drama between the two love agents. Something happened in the past between the two love agents for them to hate one another, which is somewhat interesting. I'm more interested in seeing how the male lead is "broken".
The story could become somewhat more intriguing if it ends up doing some push and pull relationship between the two leads, but simultaneously frustrating. If this ends up being some kind of 200 chapter love drama, it's probably a hard drop for me. This story doesn't have much to work with as of right now, besides pouring in the filler and annoying, nonsensical love BS because no one ever communicates with one another. If it's like 80-100 chapters, that might be okay.

I'm gonna ask you one question: Do you like cute shit? Then watch this show.
Most of the show revolves around this really cute little vampire girl who's basically an otaku and meets this one girl in middle school or something in her neighborhood because she wanders off into a forest and accidentally ends up at her mansion. So then the middleschooler wants to be best friends with the vampire and that's basically the whole show. To be honest, the art and animation can seem a little meh at times if you have amazingly high standards but it's still probably better than the anime adaptation

of Tokyo Ghoul :re which is funny when you think about it. Mostly everything is just like cute and soothing. Watch it if you want something to not think hard about. The plot is kinda dumb if you use too much logic so don't use any logic. Middleschooler's parents don't really care that their daughter has yuri fantasies of the vampire girl and that she just keeps wandering off into the woods to meet her pale ass, neither should you, got it?
Story has some meh developments and conflicts where the vampire is scared of losing the middleschooler and the middleschooler wants to be kind of more useful, but all in all, not much happens. Still pretty enjoyable, even though 0 things happen story-wise. The middleschooler basically wants to get pretty yuri up in here with the vampire, but the vampire's just interested in her hobbies and likes having the middleschooler as a friend to chill out with. Although, I would be lying if there weren't times when their seemed to both be romantic tension between the two. I guess the show is just fine? Yeah, despite doing nothing, it's still doing better than half of the stuff that comes out every season for me. Maybe that's just cause I like mellow, low-key stuff. I dunno, watch at your own discretion.

Don't watch this movie. Just don't. I cried after watching the end of this movie. Not tears of goddamn joy or sadness. But tears of pure despair. What is there to hope for in a world where anime movies think they can just get away with crap endings? You know what? I honestly thought this movie was better than Koe No Kotachi. And that was one of my favorite manga I've ever read. When I watched the movie I was hugely disappointed by the ending. When I watched this movie I thought, "MAN, THIS SEEMS REALLY GOOD, WHY ISN'T SCORED HIGHER ON MYANIMELIST THAN KOE

Okay, so I don't really wanna mince words with anyone who wants an honest opinion about this show. It's pretty generic and bad, but if you're like me and you can find it in yourself to switch off your brain for a few hours, it's pretty okay.
For me, there are two types of anime: ones where I can not care about the story and get through just fine and others where I have to actually pay attention. This one falls in the former and I don't really care that much for it. It's the season's standard. Some people will watch it because of how

cute Sagiri, the girl plastered on the front of the anime, looks. The story seems pretty nice from an objective point of view. Kid just wants to write novels and live with his stepsister. Then he decides to publish one about how much he wants to bone her.
From that point, the other girls join into the mix and try to win his heart, but let's be honest everyone knows Sagiri's gonna win. And another thing they do is that they aren't ACTUALLY related, so it's okay right? I don't really know, doesn't really bother me at all, I think I just found the story really simpleminded at some points.
But who cares right? I just wanted to see some cute girls be cute. I got what I wanted. Everything else was pretty crap though. The opening and ending songs were pretty nice. The art was good. That all goes down the crapper when you stop and think about the story and characters. I won't disagree though, Sagiri is pretty cute.

Sakamichi is delightful in the delivery of its story and characters. You have Kaoru, an intelligent but antisocial individual. He meets Sentarou, someone who's assertive and straightforward, but at the same time, gentle and caring in his own way. Over the course of Sakamichi, you come to see more about the two of them, their motives, and even glimpses of a greater bond as they both embrace their love for music and use it to overcome the typical obstacles and worries of becoming an adult. Sure, the story Sakamichi presents may be nothing new, BUT what is new is the way that story is handled

and what direction it goes in. I thought I knew where Sakamichi was going midway through but the story took several turns that allowed the story to even further develop what I'd say a quite perfect bromantic relationship between Kaoru and Sentarou. The art may be seen as dated for the general teenage populous of this generation, but don't let that scare you. I personally think that the art is outstanding and blends well with the theme of love and friendship. Some of the characters may come off as edgy and downright unlikeable at first, but that's all the more reason to continue reading and cherish the author's extraordinarily clever writing that reveals itself moreso, later on. Overall, Sakamichi is a beautifully crafted story with dynamic characters that aren't too predictable. If you're not a fan of the general plot, that's understandable but otherwise Sakamichi is far too amazing to be ignored by anyone, unless you hate the idea of love and friendship, in which case I recommend a darker read that will tear your soul in half and scar you for life like Berserk..... >:)
