As someone who doesn't usually watch too many purely emotional anime, Violet Evergarden truly is a great anime.
Story (8): The story is all about Violet and how she tries to understand normal feelings. Specifically love. It's also a great slice of life story. It's also worth mentioning that the story is half episodic. Overall very good and enjoyable
Art (10): So beautiful. I can't stress this enough, one of the most beautiful anime I've ever seen. The characters, the backgrounds, the everything. So beautiful you could really just pause the anime to admire the art.

What a series! I have been putting this off for a while and then i binged it today and man, it's brilliant! Don't make my mistake, watch it! It's a mystery/thriller action packed 1930's show. It has everything, even alchemy! So, lets start. The story is an easy 10, filled with mystery while at the same time giving you answers to your questions, you just don't notice them till later. Amazingly thought out, perfectly directed, it likes to jump in time alot (1929, 1930, 1931, 1932 etc.) but after a few episodes thing will start to make sense. The art is pretty good, I love

Story (10) The best there is, you can read the concept in the MAL description of the manga so I wont bore you with that. But anyway its kind of a detective type story of some sort (atleast in the first 50-70 chapters), its also a HUGE mistery getting slowly revealed, for example what is it that Donkey, a kid who doesn't belive in ghosts saw in the science room that made him jump from the second story?
