This is one of the worst mecha of all time.
There is no character development, their relationships are vague. It's 49 episodes of nothing but the monster of the week. Background stories are told through poorly executed flashbacks or rushed in a way that doesn't make sense, considering that 49 episodes are enough to develop a story.
Besides, there are even huge plot holes, as we can see in episode 43. The episodes ago the robots were thrown into space time on Jupiter, but in ep 43 they show them coming to earth in the era of dinosaurs (when they existed) and they were underground for all
...
this time. What's the point? Look at the size of the plot hole...
How did they end up in the age of dinosaurs in the same timeline as everything is happening? They wrote this episode with their asses and didn't think.
The ending is stupid. The protagonist simply leaves Earth because a threat can appear at any time in the universe. Couldn't he just stay on Earth? Where did he go? Are you going to be wandering the universe inside a robot? They simply did it to make it look sadder, but it's just poorly written.
The author of this work also made Brigadon and Betterman, I don't know how I expected any quality from this.
The animation is good, but every episode repeats the same transformation and that annoys me. There are episodes where the same transformation happens twice.
The penultimate episode is just a shitty recap episode. Seriously?
There's really nothing to praise about this anime. It wastes time just being the monster of the week instead of wanting to tell something. Like I said, when it tries to tell something, it's rushed and vague. Even the villains themselves were created with a stupid and poorly made excuse. They say this anime is the Gurren Lagann of the 90s, now I understand why it's so horrible (it manages to be worse than Gurren Lagann).

It's definitely one of the weirdest anime I've ever seen. The idea is crazy, about a boy who was born looking like an old man and grew up very fast.
This 30-minute anime is divided into 3 small arcs: The arc of the boy who is bullied, the arc of the lying boy and Nana, a girl who does not have a very good financial situation.
The protagonist wants to be a great leader, just as his father was considered at work, so he always helps anyone he can and gives motivational speeches.
I found Nana's arc the coolest, and even emotional.

as you can see on the cover, but very cool for the proposal. The female character designs are also good. The animation isn't great, and it didn't need to be. It's a simple comedy anime.
It's a very bizarre anime for sure. But it's funny.

Anime with 13 episodes of 50 minutes each can seem "scary" and it also takes a lot of people away from a work. In the case of Figure 17, it works very well.
We follow the story of Tsubasa and Hikaru, two little girls who end up becoming twin sisters.
As much as it has action and a lot of science fiction, this is far from being the focus of the anime. The focus is everyday life and the relationship between the characters.
But what makes this anime so special? Simple: Realism. An anime where it treats everything in a very realistic way, even more so when it

comes to the interaction of the characters. But not only that, he also talks about dependency. Tsubasa is very shy and depends on Hikaru for a lot (which reminds me of Doraemon, watch Stand By Me Doraemon, here's my recommendation), or maybe almost everything. As the work progresses, characters develop in an Iyashikei atmosphere that is very pleasant to watch, until episode 09 arrives, where the atmosphere of the work changes completely.
In the end, it's a work that talks about dependence, and at the end it has a very beautiful message of "You can do it without depending on others".
It's an excellent anime, and I see myself in Tsubasa a lot in some ways. This made me like this anime even more.
Clearly one of my all-time favorites. Beautiful visually, enjoyable to watch, with great characters and a very well written story.

I'll cut to the chase to tell you why this movie is garbage.
I know that each Precure group has their own anime series, but still the relationship between the characters in this short period of time is very strange. But this isn't even the biggest problem, the problem is the story itself.
It is amazing how this movie contradicts itself in a matter of minutes. The villain's goal is to make everything be one thing, and then he starts, only he never really absorbs the powers he needs for this, even with many opportunities (nothing convenient, right?). entire movie saying that everything must become one thing, and the characters rebut by saying no, because each person has their own feelings, and guess what? Yes, in the end they use the powers they get for another convenience and speak that their powers and their feelings are one. WTF????? The whole movie is passing a supposed message that each one is each one, and in the end the characters themselves say that their feelings are the same? For them it may become one, but the villain can't do the same just for being the villain, right? It's amazing how things contradict themselves just for the "sake of it".
The only thing that saves this movie are the action scenes.

I'm in the saga of seeing a Mecha anime of each year starting in 1975, even without following the order, I just choose a random year and see.
Megami Kouhosei was the second of this saga, and was the first bad Mecha of the saga. The first one I completed from this saga was Densetsu Kyojin Ideon, which is the best Mecha anime I've seen so far.
Megami Kouhosei is a strange case in that it's bad, but I don't hate it.
This anime is extremely slow, and things happen not only slowly, but erratically as well.

relationship between some characters is too vague, like the relationship between Ikhny and Hiead (she likes him for no reason).
Basically nothing in this anime is explained, and they happen because yes. There are some aliens attacking the only planet there is, Zyon. Are there people on this planet? Who are the aliens attacking Zyon and why?
Like, the idea of the anime is good, the characters are cool, the design and aesthetics are pretty (typical of the 2000s), but it doesn't offer much. Plus a lot of things just happen and end very quickly, which makes things confusing.
Some people might be bothered by the CGI, but it's not too bad. The robot designs are also good, especially the Goddesses. And speaking of robots, another problem comes into this anime: The robot fights themselves. There are almost no struggles, and when there are they are bad, vague and confusing.
In the end it's a poorly written anime, but with nice characters and designs. It could be a good anime, because it has a good idea (even though it's cliche) that was wasted in a really bad script that doesn't lead anywhere. It also doesn't have an ending, and from what I've read, not even the manga has an ending, because the author simply has no interest in making an ending to the story.
It's a shame, because if everything was better worked, it would be a good anime.

Beautiful art and consistent, good animation. Is it just that?
It doesn't matter if it's hentai, it should be minimally well written, and this one isn't. The "story" is extremely vague and explores nothing. The characters only have a brief flashback that doesn't say much for narrative, as the anime doesn't even have time for that. This hentai is much more concerned with good animation than the story. I believe it would take at least 3 episodes to develop everything that was shown in a lazy way - an example is the final stretch where a guy appears out of nowhere and says that the other

must accept whatever (which is not even mentioned), then nothing one of the maids appears being abused and ends up (yes, there's no end to that crap). I believe it didn't sell well to make a sequel, so everything ends out of nowhere.
This hentai is just that, beautiful art and good animation. It's just that. In the end it doesn't give you anything else, which is disappointing.
Beautiful art doesn't make a good story.
This is one of the most visually beautiful hentai, but it's also one of the worst ever made.

There is not much to talk about this anime, but I will give my opinion anyway.
It's like the name of the anime says: A collection of stories by Inukk Kanako.
This OVA presents us with 4 stories, and 3 of them are basically similar.
The first story is what is in the synopsis. Bukita keeps chasing girls around school and telling them that they are in love with him, and since he has a scary appearance, everyone is afraid of him. In this first story Bukita dies in a traffic accident, but comes back to life without a piece of his head, just like the doll

he gave to the girl that she dropped and broke. In the end the girl commits suicide by throwing herself in front of a truck, but there is nothing explicit about it.
The second story is basically the same as the first, but involves a girl who is nice to all the boys. After having the whole plot with Bukita and the girl, she ends up throwing herself out of the window and lands on the spiked gate. In this story the girl's death was a little more graphic.
The third story is the simplest, shortest and is the one I have the most to say.
This third story is about 2 minutes long - it's about a girl who thinks she should have closed the door, and there resides an evil spirit.
In this third one it's interesting the art that they chose to use. Basically almost everything is done in CG, and amazingly the CG is good, even more so if you take into account that this is a low budget anime from 1999. The atmosphere of this little story is even more "dark" than the others, especially because of its different aesthetics. In this little story the use of CG was much greater than the 2D, the 2D was even a bit restrained, but it matched what I wanted to convey.
The last story is the longest, but I don't even have much to talk about. It has some differences between the first and the second, since this time it was a girl who fell in love with Kubita instead of him falling in love with the girl. There was some Plot Twist towards the end, but nothing too much. Aaaa... And in this last story, the girl doesn't kill herself in the end.
The art of this anime is something that helps a lot, it really gives a strange atmosphere.
The direction is really good. They use the little they had and execute well, plus the good use of CG in the third story. The direction manages to convey well what the characters feel, it's a positive point.
This is another random OVA from the 90s. It was better than I thought it would be. It was nice to watch.

I found this anime in the most randomness... I was entering user profiles here in MAL and saw in the favorites of a user, then I went looking for subtitles but only found dubbed in my language (Brazilian Portuguese).
This anime is extremely stupid and full of black humor. In my language dub it is full of swear words, which makes everything funnier. I usually don't like this kind of anime that much, but it was funny to watch because of the dubbing. It was compiled on YouTube all episodes in one video, 01:30:00 in total, and I watched it all at once.

The characters of this anime that is funny, because one is more idiotic than the other.
It is a full non-sense comedy anime that was funny to watch. And as I said before, the dubbing in my language makes everything funnier.

Short review.
Bosco Daibouken is another anime from Nippon Animation that adapts a western book. An anime focused on children where the focus is just being fun.
It starts with Princess Apricot already on a flying ship after being kidnapped, I suppose she escaped from Fountainland to get help, since she escapes from the villains in the beginning and gets help after Speak arrives in a village called Bosco.
The anime follows the same formula in basically every episode: The villain comes, tries to get Apri and gets screwed in some comical way and this builds up the adventure of the anime in various locations with various events.

It's usually mini-arcs and rarely a single episode with the villains trying to get Apri. It's pretty repetitive, but it's fun.
The characters are cool, even more of Bosco.
The villains, Hoodman and his henchmen, get dumber and dumber with each episode and this makes for even more funny moments. They get even dumber when Damia, another villain, shows up. And I cannot forget that the comedy in this anime is really good and sometimes a bit cartoonish.
The main villain Scorpion has a good motivation, since he is of a race that goes from planet to planet devouring them into nothingness.
Bosco Daibouken is an anime that doesn't care about logic and just wants to be fun, and well, it is fun, however it got tiresome as the episodes went by.
The animation is pretty consistent and never has a static frame. It's a good production.
I don't pay attention to OST, so I don't even remember the songs, except for the opening and ending.
As a whole, it is a very nice anime to watch and it has a satisfactory ending and ends the anime well.

This movie was better than I thought it would be.
I watched only a few episodes of Uchuu Senkan Yamato, but I dropped it. I decided to watch this movie because it is the only one from 1978 that I have left, since I am watching one movie from each year starting in 1960. I went to see this movie thinking it was going to be pretty average, but in the end it was very good.
I know that this movie takes place after Uchuu Senkan Yamato (Movie) which I have not watched, but since it is an

event after the Yamato patrol saves the earth, I thought it would not be a problem to watch this movie. Well, it's not totally a problem, the most was that I don't know who exactly some of the characters are, even though they are introduced very quickly, long enough for the movie. So, it is possible to watch this movie without seeing anything of Yamato, only some very small things can get a little vague.
When it comes to the story, there is almost nothing to complain about. The story is very simple and executed in a very good way.
It starts with Kodai, who is the new leader of the Yamato, seeing a white comet that destroys everything in its path, and soon after receiving a distress message. So he and a bunch of other people leave Earth to go after this message and stop this white comet from colliding with Earth. When they decide to run away with the Yamato, they are seen as traitors to Earth, up to a certain point, but there are little twists and turns. As for the villains, they went through a planet of some beings called antimatter, where the only survivor was Teresa, a character who is essential to the grand finale. This is basically the introduction, I am not going to describe the whole movie, I will go straight to the point.
At one point, the Yamato members encounter Desler, a survivor of the first battle against Yamato. He only wanted revenge against Yamato, but since he is defeated, he saw that he won't be able to get revenge and tells Kodai Yamato's weak point. As I quoted before: The fact that I haven't seen Uchuu Senkan Yamato before makes some things a bit vague, and this villain is one of those things, however that's not a problem.
Basically after all that, comes the final stretch, which is the best thing about this movie. They manage to stop the white comet, but the comet is actually a large civilization of the villains, and then the big battle begins, where a lot of people die, including Yuki who was going to marry Kodai.
The ending itself is fantastic, as Kodai decides to sacrifice himself and fight alone. He makes everyone leave the Yamato and decides to go fight, even though he doesn't know how he's going to do that, because the Yamato is basically out of power (plus Yuki's body was left in the Yamato, and Kodai leaves her sitting like he's in control of his post). I mentioned that Teresa was going to be an important character towards the end, so she explains in one part of the movie that because she is of the 'antimatter' race, if she touches any other being, it will cause a big explosion and destroy everything around. Well, in the end she appears and she and Kodai sacrifice themselves to destroy the enemy. It may seem simple, but the execution is very good.
As I said before, it is a somewhat simple movie, but executed in a very good and well thought out way. You can see that they wanted to make a very good film.
The technical parts are really good. The animation is fluid in the battles, and there is a lot of Sakuga. The OST I'm not one to pay much attention to, but it had some really cool songs.
As a whole it is a very good film, which for the time breaks clichés, even more with a tragic ending to bring happiness to the Earth.
Even though the film has 02:32:00, I didn't find it extended and much less boring. It makes a beginning, middle, and end without being boring to follow.
Anyway, this movie surprised me, because I thought it was going to be just an average movie, but the movie only gets better as the story goes on. And the ending is epic.
