After reading this I desperately wanted to have my own pet Satan. How difficult that is to explain to my devout Catholic mother.

In any case, this, my friends, is a gag manga. They're be some unexpected things that honestly made me laugh my boot out loud. You can say my expectations weren't high at first, but I was intrigued by how messed up the plot was. Which explains why I didn't give it a perfect ten.

There are still some holes. For example-- they never do explain why they have supernatural pets. It's just some normal phenomenon. The author seemed to be more intrigued ... with the relationship between pet and owner, which is to be honest a worthy plot on it's own. I adored it greatly.

The art itself was high quality. Nothing to scream about, but it's expected quality. You know whose physically attractive and whose not. I think I have to give props to the maganka for drawing a skeleton in so many panels. God knows how difficult that is to draw every single rib. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at Satan and Mizuchi.

As for characters-- There was surprisingly no one hateable. I love them all. Unfortunately, I don't want to spoil anything, so you'll have to make do with me being vague and all. Yuuhei, owner of Satan, is relatable. He treats Satan like a brother, rather than a pet, and supports him no matter what. He unfortunately got into an accident that stopped him from playing baseball. Satan is an adorable cinnamon bun whose too good for this world (ironically.) We also have the remaining family, which also surprise, surprise! Isn't tragic at all! The mother is sweet, the sister is a cunning mastermind, and the father is best left unsaid.
We also have the four remaining divas, however, it seems not all of them were revealed. But let it be known that they hold a dear place in my heart. They all have their quirks that make them really memorable.

I thoroughly enjoyed the very wrong romance. (not what you think.)

Actually I just enjoyed pretty much everything. I've always been more of a satire-comedy kind of person, saw this kind of raw comedy is refreshing to me. The readability of this short manga is pretty high. It's adorable as hell.

Overall, I gave this work of art a 9.5.

These are of those rare gems that I'm very happy to read tenfold. Before you just pass by this review without a second glance-- this is coming from someone who left shoujo because I was dissatisfied by the lack of character development and cringing by stereotypical main pairs.

You probably already know the standard stuff, so I'll go on with what was personally important to me: the focus on her ability as an actor rather than the focus on romance.

Don't get me wrong, I love romance, however, they were able to steer clear from the sterotypical shoujo bull. Instead of the idea love, they're ... more focused on her Kyoko's development, even Ren was focused by her talent.

It was only then that senpai/kouhai relationship used this factor to bloom romance.

Sadly, this anime is barely a quarter of the manga. Literally. If you were to read the manga you'd be already in quarter in-- and girl. The best stuff happens in the manga.

Overal, I'd give the anime an 8. My manga review is entirely different.

The concept itself is pretty fascinating, but unfortunately is a concept that already been seen. The only twist that I found fascinating is that the main character reborns as pretty much the weakest creature you can find in standard rpgs. It also has an interesting evolving system that would equate itself to a normal ranking system.

He is an OP character, so there hardly isn't any challenge for him. He usually saves his moves as the last trump card.

However, his development overshadows other characters completely. Quite dissappointing. Mi and Kichi weren't that bad, since they were there in the beginning, but in the end ... it turns into a half-baked harem, with characters that were just.... there.

My greatest regret is that he wasn't born as a kobolt. Note that Kobolts are dog humanoids, so naturally they're cute. Would have been 10x better.

Otherwise, the MC has cool character designs that even I can't deny.
