UQ Holder! (Manga) add
Preliminary (135/193 chp)
In recent years, people have been saying "don't bother reading this unless you're a Negima fan", "the main characters hardly are supporting characters anymore", "it's all been overtaken by Negima". Well, I'm a long-term Negima fan and I had been avoiding UQ Holder because it didn't look interesting to me, but these reviews made me think that I could as well give it a try if it really was gonna be a Negima sequel, cause I sure would have liked to read some sort of epilogue to it, where I could see what happened to the cast after the end of the series.

Having grown up on PC games such as Freddi Fish, I'm a big fan of old pixel art. Never would I have thought (but I sure wished, for the longest time) that a full movie was made in pixel art ! This is it. Flying Luna Clip truly is a hidden gem.

The best way I could describe the "plot" is... a bunch of fruit people (I love fruit people) and other anthropomorphic creatures go on a one-day trip to Hawaii in a brand new yellow plane, and sometimes you're shown other presentations along with the characters. But words alone couldn't stimulate your imagination enough, you'll ...

I have watched this anime three times already, yet I can't stop being in disbelief that it simply exists. It seems too good to be true, really.

In a world where I expect every anime to reuse the same tropes and the same settings over and over again, in a world where I expect every anime I watch to be a little bit disappointing, because anime's gotta be...

Michiko to Hatchin really is unlike any other anime I've ever seen, and probably will ever see.
It's set in Brazil ! But it really is ! It's not just a "they say it's Brazil but it still looks like ...

Air (Anime) add
Air TV is my religion.

It sounds silly to say. But Air speaks to me such a spiritual level that I can't overlook it as being a big part of what my very soul is made of. This is not a review, this is simply ecstatic banter, because I love it so much that I simply can't keep this love to myself anymore.

Of course this anime has a couple annoying things about it, but,
LOOK at that sky.
LOOK at that lighting,
These birds flying,
The way Misuzu's hair flows in the wind,
These calm waves in the sea.

Mixed Feelings
This is a nice treat for fans of the game, but not much more than that.

As someone who has played over a hundred RPG Maker games, I've always thought that Deep Sea Prisoner's games ranked at least in the top 10 tier. And that Wadanohara was his best one. But I feel like the strength of it, aside from its gorgeous art, was its ambiance. The story itself was alright in terms of a game needing a story, and it's a pretty cute one, but I definitely don't feel like this game was made to tell that story; quite the opposite.

That's why the manga doesn't ...
