This Chinese anime or Donghua as they call it is really good, but my only complain is that the names are throwing me off! I have to keep a separate wiki tab to see who is being referenced. (Only Emma is the name I remember from this season).
The only media with Chinese I follow is the Kingdom manga but they have separate Japanese names for everyone so it isn't that difficult to grasp.

Other than that, the duo main characters are really good and the concept of photo-diving is very unique, the cliff hangers every episode gave was nerve wrecking.

Highly recommended if you are diving for ...

Renai Flops (Anime) add
Totally unexpected plot development, literally blew my mind by the mid season episodes. I actually watched this anime because of the one clip of the ping pong match (the hot springs episode) I saw in reels. Basically I came here for the fanservice but OH BOY THIS TURNED OUT TO BE SOMETHING ELSE.
I haven't seen much of romantic comedies in both anime and live action versions and especially not the ones which includes Artificial Intelligence so on that note I really enjoyed this one. I liked the main character, my initial thoughts was that he too would be a sleazeball in a typical harem ...

Koroshiya 1 (Manga) add
Mixed Feelings
DON'T EVER READ IN THE BATHROOM!
Koroshiya 1 or Ichi The Killer is a story about a perverted teen with abnormal superhuman strength. In a city filled with crime, it's Ichi's duty to clean up the mess the Yakuza/Japanese Mafia have infected with.

This is a seinen manga that contains a lot of gore, blood, body horror and usage of the word 'rape' so it may not be suitable for many people to read this one. Also this series heavily focuses on manipulation and bullying or the precise phrase would be 'manipulating through bullying' which could be some uncomfortable themes for many people. I picked up ...

Mixed Feelings
ALREADY SPOILED...
If you are like me who is an anime watcher, then you probably would have been puzzled that why did Saegusa Mayumi retire and how did *that person* become the Student President in the Yokohoma Disturbance Arc (Yokohama Souran-hen).
This Presidential Election Arc clears all those doubts. I was planning on skipping this arc, but I have grown to adore the characters of Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, so thought of finishing it in a go. There isn't much to the plot as the anime watchers already know about the new Student Council Members. The chapters add more emphasis on the relationships of the characters which ...

AN ABSOLUTE RIOT!
Never did I thought that I would actually enjoy an OVA episode more than a complete season.

Following the trend of the previous two OVAs which were anime original, lacked any plot and were very underwhelming, this one actually exceeded my expectations.

Good thing about the third OVA was that this focused very little on the Hestia Familia ladies, Ais too included. Great spotlight on the Miach Familia. The OVA gave more respect to the supporting characters than the season itself did.
Lot's of amazing references; and especially loved the plot revolving around the 'Gamer Girl' reference, if you know who I'm talking about ...

ANIME OF THE YEAR
I tend to dislike the Isekai genre as it generally seems interesting in the beginning but tends to get boring as the show progresses. I got recommended by many people to watch Jobless Reincarnation, I honestly had no intentions of watching it.I got hooked by watching the first episode, and in no time I marathoned the complete season in one go. I loved everything about this anime: the characters, the music, the world, the world building, the stunning visuals, it was definitely a feast for my eyes.

I won't go into details about the plot and setting as there are other spoiler free reviews but ...

Dead Tube (Manga) add
Preliminary (51/? chp)
A DWINDLING PLOT!

I wanted to read an enjoyable gory manga, and picked up this manga, at first Dead Tube did seem enjoyable, but then the plot went off the rails and sometime later it made very little sense.
The original premise was about uploading any type of videography to a website called D-Tube (definitely not ripping off YouTube) and gain many views to earn huge sums of cash but later as the story progressed, the arcs just contained only references to D-Tube i.e. just do anything in the real world and D-Tube will cover it up.

I enjoyed the degenerating status of the main character as ...

THE PROMISED CLICK-BAIT
My review is based upon how dissatisfied I was when I saw 'The Promised Neverland' to be in many TOP LIST Horror animes of the decade. Color me disappointed when I saw not even a single horror element in the anime. It was to be expected since Neverland was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The only intimidating experience I had was the presence of Sister Krone on screen, she was perfect character I could ever hope for in this mildly horror anime!

The opening 'Touch off' straight away gave off battle shounen vibes completely unrelated to the tense atmosphere of 'The Promised Neverland'. ...

TRAGEDY STRIKES BACK!
It's dread and dreary back in Hinamizawa Town. This season had reduced the violence as compared to the previous season. I got into this show because of the horror and shock element introduced in Season 1 but I actually didn't mind the drop down in violence as I had started to adore the characters. I was interested in seeing more of the character development rather than the psychological horror which season 1 offered me.

I preferred the first opening of the show rather than the opening of Kai; 'Naraku no Hana', I felt the opening too had toned down the horror element which was ...

WILL THE LOOP EVER END?!
There isn't anything much to write about this one-shot kind of special episode. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Special: Nekogoroshi-hen gives us the usual stuff of whatever has been happening in Season 1 of this anime.
It starts of with the dorky club meeting shenanigans and ends on a creepy note. I have no clue on why this arc is particularly called the 'Cat Killing Chapter' as there wasn't anything related to cats of sort.
Enjoyed this one, as the mysteries relating to Hinamizawa village just get more mysterious.
What actually is the 'maze' that Rika Furude talked about in the last episode ...
