Made in Abyss absolutely refuses to disappoint me.
I wasn't expecting this shows second season to be all that good, I was really expecting it to die out and feel bland as I was expecting something alot more like season 1, where Riko and Reg now with Nanachi venture deeper into the abyss discovering new things, creatures, and people even. Once again Made in Abyss never seems to disappoint me.
My rating for this movie is a very good 9'6. This movie is a great continuation of the story that left off on season 1. This whole movie had a dark vibe to it, you felt like something was wrong and you knew something was wrong but you couldn't quite place a finger on it, only in the later half of the movie did the movie show its fangs to us watchers, I found the second half to be absolutely repulsing in some ways, the horrible acts done to the characters made me feel disgusted, ...

This first season was a good one for sure.
My rating for the first season of "Made in Abyss" is a rock solid 9'4 very good. Coming into made in abyss with very little prior knowledge is quite the experience if I say so myself. I found the first couple of episodes to be entertaining, not very dark whatsoever but the underlying mystery behind Reg, and Rikos mother were both very interesting to me. This movie was dumb, in a good way. I honestly expected something like this when watching something from the likes of studio trigger, they never disappoint me. This movie lacked in some places but made it up with overall stupidity and irony, this was funny to watch, this movie is gurren lagann if the protagonist was gay, and I find that absolutely genius considering the main antagonist for like half the movie looks like a girl, I was genuinely convinced by looking at pictures that he was a girl, I've never felt so fooled in my life. This movie was really intriguing, like really REALLY intriguing. Everything about this movie was majorly positive for me, I do have some heavy gripes that weigh down this movie from being a 10/10. Honestly, this movie wasn't all that bad. I thought the story didn't make any sense at some points during the movie but I really could care less, the animation was amazing, the soundtrack was perfect, and I thought the characters we're all pretty fun and enjoyable, I thought the environments in the movie looked really interesting it sort of reminded me of Akira. Overall I'd rate this movie a low but solid 8 some of it felt really slow at times but for the most part the whole movie was fast paced and overall just an enjoyable watch if you aren't trying to pay attention

Where do I begin, once again, watching a kickass show like this for the first time, it feels surreal, it's getting high for the first time, it's like winning the lottery, may I even say it's like ascending to another plane of existence entirely. honest rating of this film, and we all know the rules. One watch no if ands or buts, anyways. My final rating of this movie is a 9'2 very good.
