Story (9/10) : When you think you're gonna read a fighting manga with delinquent high-schoolers, but you end up embarking on an emotional journey through the main character's three years in high-school. Love the way the story develops, it's neither going too fast nor too slow, the pace is really good. The story switches between the two main groups quite smarly, so that I never felt lost in the story.
Art (8/10) : I like the style, but it's nothing incredible either. The fights are clear and coherent, the characters are recognizable. For those of you that have read Crows, know that the art is better

Story (6/10) : Probably this manga's weakpoint in my eyes. The story is interesting but becomes engaging a bit late in my opinion. It was kind of hard to follow during the first chapters, and I didn't quite know where we were headed. Glad I stuck with it though because it gets better and better as the story progresses.
Art (9/10) : The art might be my favorite thing about this manga : some action shots might be a bit messy sometimes, but the art is usually truly great. It's a style I haven't really seen anywhere else either, so it was really refreshing. I especially ... |
