Watching this for the first time, I honestly believe it merits a rating of at least 7. It may not be outstanding, but it's undeniably entertaining. The story effectively builds upon the typical "bullied boy" trope found in Korean stories, and then suddenly cranks it up to an uncomfortable 110%.
Having read just one chapter of the manhwa "How to Fight," I can confidently say that the animators have made a lot of effort to remain faithful to the source material, achieving a remarkable level of accuracy.
This adaptation might suffer to live up to the high standards set by the manhwa. However, considering that "The
...
Returner's Magic" or as it's anime was named, " Kikansha no Mahou wa Tokubetsu?" received a rating higher than 7, despite it's disastrous failure to capture a shred of the thrilling, and action-packed nature of the manhwa, this one certainly deserves similar recognition.
While the humor is 'quite' present and a solid plot is being constructed, the animation quality falls short, perhaps reaching a maximum of 6/10. As at episode 3, comradery and relationships haven't quite grown, so no comments there.
The protagonist may not fit the typical "chad" type, but he's likable, bold, has his own flaws and most importantly... he's not a simp.
Overall, it's not exceptional, but it's certainly decent. It serves as a good pastime when you're bored and enjoying a meal. The anime remains true to its original story in the manhwa which, but it's evident that the standards set by the manhwa were challenging for the anime to match. And worse of all, it seems to be struggling to amass any popularity even though it already has a fanbase. I honestly never heard this was getting animated till I watched it myself, which isn't a good sign.
All things considered, it's a solid 7 in my opinion. I can't quite justify rating it any higher or lower than that.

When it comes to various series, I often find myself struggling to gather my thoughts, but Konosuba has left a lasting
impression I must confess, I harbored some doubts about its third season, fearing it might not uphold the standards
set by its predecessors. However, I'm thrilled to report that it has not only met but exceeded all expectations. Season 3 remains faithful to the essence of Konosuba, delivering the sharp, unbridled humor that left a mark on it's fanbase.
From the outset, we're reintroduced to our beloved characters, seamlessly picking up where the movie left off with Kazuma's hilarious new predicament/ trauma, and subtly
...
setting the tone for a whole new adventure.
Remarkably, there's been no dilution in quality with animation, writing (mostly the witty humor), facial expressions, character scaling and height, comedy, and voice acting, all maintaining the high standard fans have come to expect.
Moreover, the opening song and scenes of this season are arguably the best in the series thus far. It's a pleasant surprise, elevating the anticipation for future episodes to an entirely new level.
It's fair to say that Konosuba retains its position as my top choice in Iseakai comedy without reservation. While I typically prefer to
wait until a season concludes before delving into an anime, I simply can't resist this time around. If you've ever found enjoyment
in Konosuba, you're sure to be captivated by what this season has to offer.

Beginning with an a gory start, this anime introduces a character type that still tickles my interest. Although they were mainly used to set the stage here, I appreciate their presence. (I've got a soft spot for yandere types.)
It really sets the tone for this anime's willingness to push boundaries right from the get-go. Kinda like how Tensura took its own spin on isekai life as a slime, with its iconic slime protagonist, Rimuru Tempest.
First thing that grabbed me was how it portrays its waifus. They're not just present for the main character's ego boost or to stir up some jealousy drama. The power
...
dynamics, strength, and relationships all evolve over time, and it's understandable why the girls would fall for him... Stockholm Syndrome. Which is pretty refreshing to see.
As for the storyline; it's clear it's been well thought out. As at Episode 3, there's been none of that random event mess that leaves you scratching your head.
The animation is decent too in terms of consistency. Not mind-blowing, a bit average; Definitely a generous 6 or 7 out of 10 by today's anime standards.
And the humor? Oh, it's there, and it's clever sometimes. Fits right in with what the characters are going through.
Now, let's talk about the flaws because there are quite a few:
Some of the costume and weapon colors are just too bright. Recently, some shows have gone overboard with toning down colors, but here's the case where it's almost too vivid sometimes. Color and vibrancy work well to make hair and eyes stand out, and that was clearly well done here. But I'd rather have the costumes focus more on detail than a flashy choice of colors in this case, it steals from the character's individual design and can get a bit distracting.
The scaling can get a bit weird too, with characters either seeming too tall or shorter than they actually should be.
Also, sometimes the anime skips over actions to keep things moving. And it happens a lot. It's not a deal-breaker though, 'cause the story flows pretty smoothly overall. But it's noticeable given how often skips happen here.
Now here's a very important topic... our main character.
He's pretty likable, but doesn't stand out enough. He's calm, charismatic and quite aggressive when the situation calls for it. In my opinion he's well on his way to becoming a harem king for his rizz and boldness. I still can't forget this iconic line, "Dryad-san... itadakimasu."
If you know, you know.... Libidoooo!!!! Classic, man!
So, in conclusion, this anime reminded me why I used to love harem anime. An anime can pursue the harem dream without getting too cringe and distracting, if it has decent storytelling and relationship dynamics. A good lesson in storytelling, I'd say.
It's not on the level of Tensura, in my opinion. But without a doubt it's incredibly entertaining, and I say it's worth a shot if you love isekai. I'm giving it a rating of 7 for the experience so far, might change it depending on how the story unfolds from here on.

Darling in the Franxx" is truly a masterpiece in the world of anime. Its unique love story is unlike anything I've ever seen, a modern twist on the classic "Beauty and the Beast" tale, but with a brilliant reverse narrative, taking it from the angle of a male protagonist.
While it may come across as a bit strange at first glance, especially to those unfamiliar with its genre, for romance anime enthusiasts, it's an absolute must-watch. As the story unfolds, it blossoms into one of the most captivating and beautiful romance tales I've ever experienced. Even five years after watching it, its impact still lingers,
...
solidifying its place as one of the best in the genre.

I feel the need to push my writing to the max, so I'll do just that for this gem of an anime:
Step into the world of the ultimate gaming isekai, where every aspect is finely tuned to perfection. Top-notch animation, a captivating story, a protagonist you can't help but root for, and battle scenes that leave you on the edge of your seat, what more could you possibly ask for?
Our protagonist is no ordinary mc; he craves a challenge and thrives on pushing himself to the limit. Nothing short of a brush with death can hold his interest. But it's not just about his raw
...
skill; the story unfolds naturally, revealing new layers of depth as he navigates through this new immersive world. And yes, he's not afraid to lay down the law, even if it means drop-kicking a woman at a moment's notice. That's a win in my book!
Unlike cookie-cutter stories that merely serve as a drop into the protagonist's exploits, this one feels authentic. The diverse cast of characters, each with their own quirks and complexities, adds richness to the narrative. And let's not forget our adorable bunny companion, the true star of the show imo.
Humor is woven seamlessly throughout, with well-crafted jokes and character interactions that hit the mark every time. And while the battles are intense, they also carry a sense of direction/ purpose, each move carefully choreographed to express its significance. Like one move called 'clear skies something', a move which painted a picture of the beauty of the sky within it's effects. It's a visual spectacle that's hard to put into words, but once you experience it (if you notice it), you'll sit back in awe.
I'll admit, I'm not usually a fan of characters hiding behind masks, but here, it's integral to the protagonist's identity so I can let it slide. His identity mostly lies in his name, personality and skillset. And the ambitions that drive our main cast forward feel more grounded in a slightly gritty, yet relatable sense of determination. The camaraderie among the characters is another highlight, kind of reminds me of 'Luffy and his Straw-Hat crew', with teamwork that borders on the sublime, even when it's with the bunnies.
There's so much more I could say, but it's best experienced firsthand. Suffice it to say, the ratings this anime has gathered is well-deserved, and I wouldn't be surprised if we see a second season in the works. After all, a story of this caliber deserves to be told for seasons to come.

Season 2, here we go. In my opinion, Season 2 is living off the anticipation that drew in the viewers of Season 1. The animation quality has noticeably declined, and the anticipation for Red's reunions has dwindled. Now, the main antagonist seems to be a rather... how shall I put it... really really reeeally dumb child?
Yes, driven by twisted beliefs and arrogance, our heroes are forced to confront this child who has somehow become the current antagonist of the story. It's a bit of a unique and interesting concept how this boy became the antagonist, however, it's clear that the narrative is starting to
...
lose sight of what initially drew its fanbase in: the hidden competence of the protagonist and the dynamic relationships within the party.
It seems that these aspects have now become somewhat meaningless. In an attempt to push Red and Rit into the spotlight as a destined couple, the story is sidelining the other female characters, either by pairing them off with other men or by diminishing their interest in the protagonist. Some have even become passive, resigned to their fate. This shift in relationships may not sit well with everyone, but it's certainly a notable change.
Furthermore, Season 2 has lacked any significant moments thus far. In fact, it feels like the focus is shifting away from the protagonist, with some episodes giving him minimal screen time. I had hoped that the protagonist's reunions and the addition of new comrades would strengthen the group's bond and lead to further character development.
However, instead of progressing as a unit, the story has become fragmented, with individual character stories instead of collective growth. When they come together, it's been more about mundane activities like having dinner or taking a bath, rather than significant events that propel the "family" forward.
Honestly, I was really looking forward to Season 2 after enjoying Season 1 quite a bit However, all that excitement has been shoved up my butthole with nowhere to go. All the anticipation has been sucked back in, leaving me feeling disappointed and let down.

After rewatching Season 1 and diving straight into Season 2, I couldn't help but notice that Season 1 was much more colorful and vibrant in comparison. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not necessarily a bad thing. The anime still retains its finesse, but I can't help but wonder why some studios opt for this style, especially when continuing the series. It's hard for me to see how that's an improvement.
Now, if you'll indulge me for a moment, I have a little rant to get off my chest. One unforgivable sin in anime, in my opinion, is delving too deeply into stories and relationships that
...
have nothing to do with the protagonist. Sure, I get it, it's a step in creating a well-rounded story, but dedicating two entire episodes to outside characters and their "harems," with little relevance to the protagonist, just rubs me the wrong way. But hey, that's just a personal pet peeve of mine. Thankfully, the anime manages to redeem itself later by highlighting the strength of the characters' bonds, so I'll let it slide this time.
Now, getting back to the anime itself, it's hard to believe, but there's been a lot of character progression since Season 1. Especially noticeable is the change in the protagonist's attitude and personality. He's much less flustered compared to before, which gives him a certain air of maturity. There are lots of more theories and world building that are a bit exhausting the first time around, but trust me, it's something you can get used to.
The OP music is also another good one, although I loved Syuudou's: Gambling, in season 1 better.
I might come back and edit this review, but by far, I'm enjoying season two quite a bit.
Oh, and let's not forget about the gorgons/medusa species—they are craaaazy hot! This anime's done great in maintaining a decent character cast.

I'd say what really sets this anime apart is its amazing animation and voice acting. Without them, it would just be another cringe-worthy isekai anime. The animation is seriously top-notch, and the MC, despite his boyish appearance, has a mature voice akin to Sakata Gintoki, which makes you want to take his character more seriously than you should.
However, I do have a personal distaste for memory alteration and illusionary disguises. They often feel like cheap plot devices that allow writers to manipulate the story however they want. Plus, I'm not a fan of the overly "pure" and happy characters in a world where everything seems
...
to be glowing.
To be honest, there's nothing about the story, plot, or characters that really stands out to me. I can't wrap my head around how a loner like the MC, who supposedly goes to extreme lengths to avoid human contact, suddenly decides to save the main girl and forces her to live with him. It feels like a roundabout logic that I've grown tired of.
Overall, I found the plot to be lacking in cleverness, engineered to elicit shallow emotions of empathy from viewers. And seeing it countless times, I simply wasn't invested in it at all. The only thing I can see earning this anime such high ratings is its animation sequences, facial expressions and effects. However, I can acknowledge that there are people out there who enjoy stories like these, even if they're too pure for my taste. But personally, I couldn't get past the excuses for betrayals, like "I'm sure he's a good guy deep inside." It just didn't sit right with me.

Well, I have nothing inherently compelling to say, once you start reading this review you should already know where this is going. For the first time since I started writing reviews, I cannot bring myself to write one. This is going to be a rant and nothing else, so here goes:
So, first things first, what's with the whole gorilla waifu thing? I mean, seriously, how was that supposed to even work? Anyway, let's just push that thought out of our minds and dive into the harem aspect. Now, I'm all for a good harem, I love it, but this one? It's just... cringe. Something deep
...
down in my soul hurts every time the girls start listing off their roles in the MC's life. I can't stand it.
And let's talk about the plot, or lack thereof. It's just an OP MC wandering around, doing stuff, with no real direction. The scenarios they come up with to piece this thing together.... honestly, they're pretty weak. It feels like a mishmash of random scenes thrown together for the sake of being an anime, but they never really lead anywhere.
The jokes? Meh. And the anime itself? Well, let's just say you could toss me in a river and I'd probably have better luck catching fish. It's a serious swing and a miss, every time they make an attempt to show appeal. And don't even get me started on the bizarre cast of characters in this mess.
Overall, it's bad. Like, really bad. The only reason I'd recommend watching it is so you can fully grasp just how bad it truly is. That is it.

Isekai Nonbiri Nouka, I had to watch this anime once again a year later, just to be sure my standards weren't affected by the anime season it was released in. And boy, "Isekai Nonbiri Nouka" proved to be a delightful surprise. Initially, I had absolutely no expectations, especially since I'm not typically drawn to the happy-go-lucky genre. However, the anime consistently presents new ideas and fresh spectacles with each episode.
One of its standout features, which may be overlooked, is how effectively it utilizes its characters. Even the most insignificant characters find a role within the main cast without feeling forced or exhausting. The characters are
...
well-developed, and the humor, while not overly trying, succeeds in eliciting genuine laughter.
The anime also boasts a unique animation style that brings the harem's chores to life in a remarkably presentable manner. Whether through animation or still images, the depiction of these tasks is so vivid and lively that the imagery stays with you long after watching.
Even the god who reincarnated the main character adds to the comedic charm. Personally, one of my favorite moments was when a pet narrated his life story and provided insights into his "master" from an animalistic perspective. Also, watching dogs play chess was a surprisingly fascinating aspect.
Finally, although there's only one short battle scene (there are more but it's the only one that counts for me), it packs a punch, accompanied by perfectly fitting music. I've seen lots of comments that suggest that the track 'went hard' for most audiences, which I couldn't agree more on. While it may not be the anime of the year, it's undeniably entertaining and, dare I say, quite rewatchable.
