Do not listen to what other reviewers say about this manga. Try it out for yourself. Read at least a bit before going straight to the conclusion that this manga is bad. It is an odd one, but it is definitely one worthwhile reading.
Thoughts (tiny bit of spoilers): The anime did not do justice to such a great manga. Though the anime faithfully adapted most of the first 70 chapters, it did leave out a few important character arcs.
