This review contain some info for old Working series. It's strongly advised to watch that beforehand.

It cannot be helped that this will be compared to it's predecessor. I've just marathoned the franchise the other time so I'm still fresh about it. I think I'll list the strength and weakness over it's predecessor.

Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Arc-V (Anime) add

At first with Zexal letdown I'm a little skeptical about this series. How boy it manage to surpass my expectation in every possible way.

Story - 9/10

As per YGO tradition the story start slow with first few episode focusing on character introduction and explaining new game mechanic Pendulum Summon. But over time the series took interesting turn of event and thing become more interesting. Lot of thing that seems to be insignificant at first turned into important foreshadowing for future episode.

Character - 10/10

Seireitsukai no Blade Dance (Anime) add

Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance or Blade dance for short is one of five anime adaptation of LN that simultaneously announced by MF Bunko J. For you who have watch many anime by synopsis alone you can see which direction this series will take. Yes this is harem romance comedy with fantasy setting and dash of action. Nothing new here but it's not like being unoriginal equal boring. Blade Dance is type of series that not try to hard to be deep or complicated series. Instead it achieve what it is trying to do becoming simple yet enjoyable series.

Now we are talking about animation and ... art that is used here. Nothing groundbreaking or spectacular but it still have it's up and down. The best aspect here must be character design an important part on harem genre. Every character is drawn very attractive and very pleasing to the eyes. The downside here sometimes the background is not moving. But overall it is still good.

About sound even though most of main cast played by rookie seiyuu but every one of them play good job and match the character they are playing. The best must be Yuuki Kana VA of Rinslet which bough up her ojou aura more than her LN counterpart. And about soundtrack it is decent but I still disappointed that Shukasai no Elementia the one used for PV is not used as ED or OP instead.

Now the most important part of harem anime is character. We are starting with our main character first Kazehaya Kamito. As the only male spirit contractor in the series people are wary about him because in history the only male spirit contractor Demon King and as you can guess it create chaos in the past. He have good nature personality but is not above teasing his harem member. He is also competent fighter and neither wimp nor (really) dense character. Now move on to Claire. She is tsundere with heavy dose on tsun than dere. Thoughit can be annoying sometimes but over the time she really grow and become more likable. She also have rival and childhood friend named Rinslet. Rinslet like Claire is also tsundere but instead of tsundere to our male lead she is mostly tsundere to Claire. She is also have the most ojou appearance and voice in the series. Move to another character we have Ellis who is also tsundere who lean more on dere than tsun. She is serious and upstanding person. She is also act according to knight honor. We also have Fianna. She is princess also she is the tease on the series. As one of a few character that know Kamito secret she always take advantage on it. Next we have Est. The best character on the series. Bold, cute and charming. She is also very powerful spirit and Kamito trusted partner. The most defining trait of her character is that she like to wear nothing aside for knee socks. Now for the last we have Restia another spirit character. The most mysterious character on the series and the driving force behind the series. What she think and what she do is always mysterious.

This is relaxing and enjoyable series overall but since I've read the LN I know very well that Blade Dance haven't reach it's full potential yet. I'm definitely recommending this to you who like harem fantasy or who like lighthearted series in general.

On a side note the main story start right after anime end so for those who like this adaptation enough I'm strongly recommending read the LN. You can start at volume 4 where anime left off but I think it's better to read it from the start.

The plot is very simple like you would found in another harem LN. A story about a man thrown into school and of course harem ensue. The first time I heard KamiNomi get third season I'm getting excited. After the luckluster sell from previous two season I'm worried that it won't get any anime. But my excitement fall quickly when they anounce that this will cover Goddess Saga in one cour. This is going to be terrible, this is going to be bad, they going to get this butchered is what cross in my mind that time as a manga reader. But Manglobe prove me wrong and show me how they can cover 70+ chapter into one cour amazingly.

If you are the only male in all girl school what would you expect? Harem ofcourse. This is a story about the only male spirit contractor Kazehaya Kamito in all girl school where he was forced to atend by his old acuintance Greyworth the principal of the school. Because of the upcoming festival Blade Dance he was unwillingly participate to competete in the festival and beat Ren Ashbell in exchange of information about Restia the spirit that he search. The story is your average boys meet girls at first but it was develope into something better but still cliche. What Atract me the most is ... the cast so lets give a little brief about them.

Kazehaya Kamito
The MC of this series and the only male spirit contractor. Most of people warry of him since in the past Demon King that is the only male spirit contractor create chaos. But because of his ever growing harem now he have a tittle himself that is Demon King of the Night. He is on a quest for searching his past contracted spirit Restia.

Claire Rogue
Our female heroine is red haired pettanko twin tail tsundere. Her affinity is fire and her spirit is a cat. She often revered as Hellcat Ojou-sama. Even thought she is smart she is always causing problem that make her enemy of Sylphid Knight the school police. Despite that she is a good leader.

Rinslet Laurenfrost
She is Claire rival and her childhood friend. Despite always bickering they are stay a good friend not that either of them would admit it. Her affinity is ice so that it natural that she and Claire is rival. She have maid but for some reason it was her that have household skill whereas the maid is useless.

Ellis Fahrengard
Captain of Sylphid Knight and overall strict person. She was not in good term with Claire because she always cause problem. Her affinity is wind. Her skill on cooking is good but still not on level of Rinslet. She say that she practice cooking for pleasing her future husband. Even thought she is strict she have soft spot on cute thing.

Fianna Ray Odesia
She is the seductive type person. Her first appearance is in volume 2. She meet Kamito few years before the story begin but he doesn't remember her. Since she is princess maiden in combat she is act as a support. Claire sometimes refer her as immodest princest due to the fact that she always seduce Kamito.

Est
Kamito sword spirit and my personal favorite. She is a high level spirit since she can appeare in human form. Sometimes reffered as naked kneesock spirit because she often sneak into Kamito bed wearing nothing but stocking since for some reason she thought that showing her feet is embarsing. She is very loyal to Kamito. Revered by author as Unmovable Queen due to the fact that she nearly always in top popularity poll.

Restia
Mysterious darkness spirit that Kamito searching. She was Kamito contracted spirit in the past.

This novel filled with cliche, fighting, tsundere and lot of tease. With the author motto "Increase love, double the fun, supperior battle" this proof to make the story interesting. If you interest try read it specialy if you like harem fantasy setting. And it will have anime adaptation in the near future so make sure to check it out too.
