I really don't like Itazura na Kiss.
In fact, to an extent, I loathe it, and it's not very often that I will go out of my way to say that about a series.
Before I get into the problematic elements of their relationship, let me first get of my chest and say that the artistic style is ugly. I've tried to give the artistic style some slack, but I don't know what the artist's goal was: is it supposed to provide a comedic angle, or do you just suck at drawing? I think it's more of the later.
Now, as for every character in this series...

think every single one of them is problematic to some degree, with exception to the two dads and Chris' parents.
• Kotoko can't take "no" for an answer, and will get what she wants in the end anyway because she's the leading female.
• Naoki is an asshole who disregards the feelings of others because everything is too easy for him.
• Noriko (Naoki's mom) is painted as the ultimate shipper and wing-woman, but is actually a wife desperate for another woman in the house to the disregard of the thoughts and feelings of her sons to the point Naoki was dressed like a girl during his childhood (that is NEVER addressed, btw).
• Yuki (the younger brother) takes after his brother in being abusive towards Kotoko, even if that abuse is talking constant shit about her.
• Kinnosuke tries to help, which is kind of sweet, but ultimately becomes territorial around Kotoko despite her multiple objections.
• Chris takes after Kotoko in the idea of throwing yourself at your man until he gives in.
And all of this, mind you, is supposed to be romantic... it isn't... it's not even funny romantic.
This story needs so much work and revision that I'm convinced that it was a self-indulgent fiction at some point prior to being a manga... and not even the healthy kind of self-indulgence. How this manga got the number of adaptations it got is beyond me. Yeah, sure, the original artist dying before its completion is sad, but death doesn't suddenly make a shitty series any better.

The manga's artistic style is fine, but if I had to choose between the manga and the anime...
I would pick the anime's style over the manga on the account of how much cleaner it looks.
Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san is NOT a manga or anime I would recommend.
Why? Because there is an extremely problematic element regarding Nakano and Senko's relationship and (by extension) most of the relationships in this story with exception to maybe his friendship with Koenji: pedophilia.
You can tell me over and over again until you're blue in the face that Senko is 800+ years old and when it comes to the culture

of the gods, pedophilia might not be an issue, but that doesn't change the fact that the creators of this story thought it was a good idea to have the waifu in this look like a LITTLE GIRL. In fact, it's admitted in both the manga and the anime (when they first meet Koenji) that (as far as Senko goes) she's BOTH the WIFE AND THE MOTHER.
If I didn't know any better, I'd strongly believe that this was a male's fantasy story to an extent (which I can believe if you look at the artist's notes): coming home from a hard day at work and bringing in the bread to his wife who's not only beautiful and (dangerously) young, but is pampering him to his heart's content. With as young as Senko LOOKS (NOT IS), there is a disturbing implication: a child bride/wife.
Add the fact that all of the girls are young in some degree with the fact on how (at least two) of them dress, and it's only adding fuel to the fire. Sure, I've seen it common in stories from Japan to use sexiness as a joke, but when girls under the age of consent are seducing older men (in this case, Nakano) for any reason, you've got a problem.
I used to love this series for the hurt/comfort element and how sweet it was Senko just wanting to do something nice: on reflection, hurt/comfort one of my favorite genres. However, the underlying pedophilia ruins this series for me, and that sucks because Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san could've been something better.

Typical shy girl falls for an extremely popular, confident guy in school, and said confidence over time inspires her to confess to him. She falls for him as soon as she meets him, so there isn't a plot about her discovering whether or not she may or may not like him.
Hiyokoi isn't anything amazing on the account of how cliche it is. It isn't bad, per say, (heck, even the artwork isn't all that bad) but to suggest that it's something amazing or unique as far as story is concerned would be a bit of a stretch. Thus, I'd only recommend this based

Would I recommend this anime?
I don't know, how much do you just want to see Latina being cute?
There's a chance that Latina being cute is the whole point of the anime, but it's extremely counter-productive.
This adorable demon-child is left in the woods to die and is later loved by everybody because of how cute she is...
and you can't expect me NOT to wonder what lead to her circumstances to being with?

Congratulations: you've got me emotionally invested into a character (a MAIN character, btw) with little to poor delivery.

"Isn't the abandoned baby cute?"
"Omg, why was she abandoned?"
"It doesn't matter, isn't she cute?"

When I say that I don't recommend this anime,
I do that on the basis of this question, "Are you fascinated with things that are genuinely bad on any level?"
If the answer is "yes", then I would suggest this anime to you on the basis that you approach without too much expectation.
If the answer is "no", then I would suggest that you not touch this anime, not even with a 10-foot pole.
What I find funny about Chargeman Ken is that... well, there's nothing there to spoil.
The premise is EXTREMELY simple, but the thing is that... well, that's all that's really there.

Ken lives in a futuristic city with his family, and he can somehow change into a superhero with the light sources around him in order to fight aliens, who are always plotting to destroy the humans in some degree or the other.
Even the poster that they use to advertise Chargeman Ken is a disservice to the anime itself to the point where I'm convinced that it is, to some degree, false advertising. I don't know why this show has the rating on this site that it does, but that's a genuine disservice too. I would guess it has that rating because of the general "so bad, it's good" idea, but even then that's leading people looking for genuinely good anime to be lead to believe that this might be worth their time if that's the logic there going in with.

When I first got into this anime, I'll admit that there's a strong chance that I wasn't in a healthy headspace.
The reason why I stayed narrows down to the fact that there isn't another anime quite like this one in my book. Yes, there ARE other animes with the dark supernatural, but none of them have caught my attention quite like Hellsing has. I'll also admit that the religious undertones between the Catholics and the Protestants held my attention too on top of the fact that even the most powerful can, in fact, be defeated.
Like everything else, unfortunately, there are a few

things that needed work in this anime, mainly the pacing. So long as I don't binge-watch every single episode, this element isn't as annoying, but seeing how they constantly reiterate the same thing, I find myself wanting them to get to the point.
I would only recommend this anime to those who want a serious story with a side order of everything (I would think) qualify as "mature": blood/gore to an extreme degree, sexually suggestive themes, and the ultimate proportion of what I would imagine an edge-lord to want.
If you want Hellsing with a dark-comedic angle, I would strongly suggest the Ambridged version done by Team Fourstar over the original. As the years have gone by, I find the Ambridged to be a far more appealing experience. That doesn't mean that I'm completely devoid of the original, though.
