Honestly I liked the Anime, but this movie is just 95% reused scenes from the anime. The originaly 4:3 scenes are cut to 16:9 which gives the movie a realy zoomed in feeling.
The story is exactly the same as in the anime (no wonder since its a recap), and if u have seen the anime i cant recomd it because of the problems mentioned above.
If u havent seen the Anime, i would recomend the anime more, but in case u want to have it in movie form its watchable, but not recomendable.

Mahoutsukai no Yome is an outstanding anime.
if you're looking for an anime with depth which has happiness as well as sadness, you've picked the right show. It gets you invested in the World Story: I don't want to spoiler so I won't write much about the Story, but I will say it gets you invested after a few episodes. Don't make the mistake to drop the show to early! Watch at least around 5 episodes! Art: The Art is beautiful as expected of Studio Wit. I would even say they even exceeded their standards and made a beautiful World, with good animations especially with magic and magical creatures. ...

It's great!
Don't quit to quickly, the anime needs some time to build the world. The Story is good, funny and BELIEVABLE! (Sorry but this is missing out in many animes) The Art is also without any visual flaws, it's not as outstanding as in other animes like Karneval but it fits the style of the series.
