I highly advise you to read Sora Log. I loved this manga. I didn't really want to read this because I was afraid that the art wasn't the best. Though, I was very happy that I read this! The art was very very good.
This romantic story will make your heart melt. From the sweet moments to the heartfelt words are so wonderful. If you love Shoujo and great love stories than read this! A very good story about a boy and girl who love to paint and draw. Two girls join an Art Club at their new High School and only two boys are in it with them. Very heart warming story. Beautiful art and meaning behind this story.
Characters are alright in this story. I would have liked to see a bit more depth to them. But, I guess I'll never get to see more depth. For a shorter manga it is very good. The romance is fluffy and almost deep in a way. Read this manga if you love Art, Romance and slight Comedy.

Personally, Gakuen Alice was one of the first Mangas' that I've read. It's very different from any other Shoujo Mangas. Why? The love in this story is different from any other I've read. The emotions are very light but later on dwell deeper and deeper. I'm not just talking about love here. I'm talking about Mikan's (the main female character) feelings for her friends and family.
