I enjoyed this so much, it's a very cute anime, with many heart warming scenes. It's a very relaxing watch and it reminded me of the animes from early 2000's.
The main characters are very likeable: Marin is the sweetest person, she doesn't care about other people's opinions and always supports her friends; Gojo is also very nice, he has a unique passion and, although he doesn't think highly of himself, his development throughout the series is notable.
The anime portrays a very important message, showing people that it doesn't matter what others think of the things you like
...
doing, you have to be yourself and follow your passions; it also shows us the importance of friendship and being surrounded by people who support you.
The plot is simple but very engaging, the dynamic of the main duo is quite original, with him making the clothes for her cosplays. Their friendship is very beautiful and I think it will have a good development into a romance.
The one thing "not so good" I'd have to say about "My Dress-Up Darling" would be how slow paced it is. As it only has 12 episodes, the main couple doesn't have any romantic development, they just act like two friends. Only in the end, Marin starts to have feelings for Gojo, but she doesn't tell him. I feel like the romance part didn't really exist, but as I said, it's slow paced, so maybe if there were more episodes, their romance would have more development.
Overall, I'd recommend this anime for any romcom and slice of life lover, I really liked it and I am very excited for a season 2!

"Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru" is a romantic anime about two people who met online through a game. The main characters are that same old cliché: the cute cheerful girl becomes infatuated with the handsome quiet boy. Then, there's still all the stereotypical romantic scenes, like when he saves her from falling. I personally don't dislike clichés, I think that they're inevitable, but the rest of the series must have some originality. This plot does harbor some originality, by revolving around the video games world. My overall opinions of the anime is:
- I didn't find any of the characters
...
annoying, I think they're all quite likeable or at least easy to tolerate;
- I initially didn't knew if I would like the video games theme, but it turned out to be quite interesting; the fact that the main couple met online is kinda uncommon to be portrayed on TV and, since we're always listening about the dangers of internet, this anime shows us that it can also have a good side, because the main character makes a lot of friends online, whom she meets in real life;
- I think it's interesting that in this anime the girl is the one who is older (just 2 years), because, generally, it's always the guy; plus, he's still in high school and she's in college;
- I think that the main couple didn't have a very good development, because, in my opinion, we didn't see them interacting enough to confess their feelings in the end, I felt that before they realized they wanted to be together, they should've developed more their friendship (since they barely talked);
- the comedy is very nice, there's nothing offensive, just some silly situations and funny faces that the main lead usually does.
Overall, I'd recommend this anime to anyone who wants to watch a romantic comedy, because, although it's not amazing, it's a good watch, and it only has 13 episodes, so I'd say it's worth it.

I started watching "Hunter x Hunter" with not exactly high expectations. As the main characters are children, I thought it would be a very light anime, with nothing very deep and a bit childish. The premise about the hunters isn't really my type, I wondered if the story arcs would be about them, for example, just going to look for a rare item in a certain island or fighting some sea creature, basically just going in random adventures, like the cartoons for children. Which I have nothing against, but nowadays, I like to watch series with a more developed plot. Thankfully, I couldn't
...
be more wrong.
It takes place in a world where there's magic items, monsters and people with unique powers, and to discover those things all over the world, there are hunters. The main character is Gon, a 12 year old boy who aims to become a hunter because his father, who abandoned him when he was a baby, is a hunter as well. So he takes off to make the Hunter exam, where he meets his friends and also some enemies.
I think that the characters are super well developed, they all have a very defined personality and through the anime they continue to evolve. This is not a very typical shonen, for example, the main four characters are actually separated most of the anime. Gon and Killua are always together, but they only meet Kurapika and Leorio sometimes. Although this might sound a bit sad, I think that is very well portrayed in the anime, because it shows the viewers that even though friends are not together all the time, they'll always be friends, and when they meet it will be like they saw each other yesterday. But I have to admit that I did wanted just a little bit more of the four of them together.
There's nothing childish about this anime, there are actually some scenes though to watch and some very deep ones too. Overall, the plot is very well developed, the characters are interesting and it's very addictive. Although, I did have a problem with a part of the show. So, the first 80 episodes are incredible, I loved every story arc, fight and characters introduced. But, after that we enter the biggest story arc of the anime, the Chimera Ant Arc, which lasts 'till episode 136 (out of 148). Honestly, I thought the arc was just too long, and from episode 80 until like 110, I was kind of really bored. This, because, in first place, I didn't really find the Ants plot very interesting, it didn't get to me. Second, apart from the ending, to me, this arc kinda felt out of place in the anime, it seemed like it was just put in the middle of the anime for no reason. The other arcs developed the story, in the way that showed characters going after their goals, Gon making connections with other people, learning new techniques, or getting closer to find his father. To me, the other arcs make the plot, but this one felt like it was leading us nowhere (besides the tragic ending). This made me quite sad, because I really loved the anime, but those 30 episodes or so are not it, at least for me. But the thing is, althought I didn't really enjoy those episodes or the arc itself, the rest of the anime is so good that I have to give it a 9. I would recommend this anime for anyone who likes shonen, I think basically everyone would enjoy it. But as for the Chimera Ant Arc, I think it will depend on each person. I met people whose favorite arc was this one, but others who also thought that it was just too long, or out of place.
So, if you like shonen animes with really good fight scenes, excentric villains and interesting characters, you should definitely watch "Hunter x Hunter". Even if you don't like the Chimera Ant Arc, you'll most likely enjoy the rest of the anime.

"Angel Beats!" is a very emotional anime. It's set in the afterlife, specifically in a school of teenagers who died with regrets and didn't enjoy their youth. In the first episodes I didn't thought I'd like it as much as I did, but it definetly caught my attention and became quite addictive. The most striking aspects of my viewing were:
- The plot isn't exactly amazing, I mean, it's good, but it's not mind blowing or anything, it may even seem a bit "silly" at first, but the story is much more developed and complex than you imagine; the characters
...
are what "makes" the show, their backstories are truly heartbreaking, some can be relatable to you, due to their pains and regrets, making you put yourself in their place, which makes them the best part of the show, along with their regrets, wishes, memories, (...); the character development and writing is also very good, since, unlike many other shows, this anime highlights more than 2 characters and almost everyone has their "moment";
- The meaning behind the anime is very emotional and makes you reflect about the meaning of life, justice, God, morals, among other subjects of this area; my favourite inner reflection about this anime is regarding God , since there were many characters in the anime who wanted to meet God in order to find sense in the pain they had suffered, I consider this theme the saddest and most relatable represented in the anime, because I think that almost everyone in the world has, even once, felt revolted with the injustice present in our world;
- There are some plot holes in the anime, not just one, but it's not like they're big holes that ruin the anime or don't let you understand it, it's just stuff that is left to each viewer interpretate on his own; this can leave a feeling of unpleasantness and need of closure, although, personally, to me it didn't really mess up anything about the anime, because all the possible interpretations are very much alike and there aren't many of them, so there isn't any big unsolved mistery;
- To conclude, I loved the ending of the anime; I know this anime is considered a very sad one, and it is sad, but anyone who starts watching knows what's getting into, because since the characters are already dead, a common happy ending isn't supposed to be what you expect; from my personal view it was a very happy ending, considering their conditions.
Overall, I highly recommend this anime to anyone: it's only 13 episodes, the plot is very appealing, the characters are very interesting and different from each other and addresses serious and realistic internal conflicts. It's a beautiful anime about life and love and definitely a tear-jerker.

"Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san" is a surprising anime to me because, firstly, I never though I'd watch it, as I thought the premisse was very unappealing (mainly due to what everyone knows, the bullying part) and secondly because when I started it, I planned on quitting because I wasn't enjoying it very much. And what surprised me was that I actually ended up loving the show and the second season was very good. So I will make a recap of my "Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san" watching "journey":
- The teasing in the first 3/4 episodes was kinda uncomfortable, I have to admit; honestly, the jokes
...
Nagatoro made about Senpai weren't deeply hurtful, they were stupid, but I wouldn't say they were normally reason enough for a person to cry, but, as he did cry, it would be normal for her to assume that he has some serious issues regarding his self-esteem, apologize to him and leave him alone; she, of course, kept teasing him until the point where he actually started liking her company and got used to her personality; so, to conclude, I can understand why some people did quit the anime in the first episodes;
- I kept watching the anime out of curiosity, because I wanted to see how their relationship was going to develop, since the beginning wasn't very promising; I wasn't very impressed until the last few episodes, I thought the situations and jokes were kinda childish and the plot seemed to not develop; the only reason I didn't give up watching is that I don't like not finishing the series I watch, I only do that if they have a lot of episodes, and since this one was only 24, 12 if I only watched the first season, I said to myself that I would finish at least the first season; on the last 3 episodes or so, I started to get really caught up in the series and I started hoping the second season would made me feel the same way;
- I started watching the second season and it was so good, their relationship developed into a caring friendship (and someting more), some minor characters had more screen time and the humor was very amusing; basically, the second season, to me, was so much better than the first, although the first was at the same level as the second in the last episodes.
Well, I ended up quite enjoying the show and really hoping for a third season. I do have the feeling that the first scenes kinda ruin a part of the anime, therefore, I would've really liked if the relationship between Nagatoro and Senpai had been more of a friendship that develops through teasing, that, consequently, also develops through time, instead of a really weird begginning of a relationship where the girl bullies the guy in their first meets and slowly starts to tease him in a more friendly way. I would already be satisfied if Senpai hadn't cried the first time they met lol. To sum up, I aknowledge the anime has some issues regarding this theme, but it's an anime, we don't have to take it very seriously since it's made for people to laugh a bit. Yet, I do recommend this show because, although it doesn't seem in the beginning, it develops into a cute romance with lots of comedy.

"Tokyo Revengers" is the first anime I watched about gangs, so I don't know how reliable my opinion is at this level, since I don't have any comparison standards. Overall, I enjoyed the first season a lot: engaging plot, cool characters, good fight scenes, etc., and it was very interesting to me, because I'd never seen animes regarding these themes, so it felt like a whole new thing for me, thus it made it very exciting. I like the base story a lot: the main character, Takemichi, has to travel back in time to save his ex-girlfriend from being killed by the Tokyo
...
Manji Gang, and ends up befriending the leaders and, eventually, joining the gang. He soon realizes that his girlfriend, Hinata, is just one of the many people he has to save, since the gang is nothing like it was in the past, having become a criminal cold-blooded organization.
The plot is very appealing, in the beggining mainly because of the premise, but then it makes you very attached to the characters. Most of the characters present a duality in their personalities, the series shows the viewers how even gang members can be affectionate, have morals and care about their families, and that not everything is what it seems. Another factor of the success of the plot is that every time Takemichi returns to the present, everything is very different, but, at the same time, some incidents never stop happening, no matter how much the past is changed. Due to this, there are many plot twists and mysteries to be solved, which makes you want to watch the next episode right away.
About characters, the protagonist is very controversial in the fandom. Although, I do like Takemichi, opposite to most viewers, I acknowledge his character development could've been improved. This anime has something uncommon, given that the protagonist is not strong, and his fighting skills don't improve significantly over time, which is one of the main reasons to the general dislike towards him. But, in my opinion, whatever the protagonist of "Tokyo Revengers" lacks, characters like Mickey or Draken, make up for it. In my opinion, yes, Takemichi would be more interesting to watch if he was as strong as the others, but, at the same time, that's what makes them stand out, since Takemichi already has a very unique power, time traveling. So, I actually think it makes sense Takemichi is the way he is, because, in the end, he's not a gang member like the others, he's just someone who found himself trapped in that world and adjusts to it realistically. On the other hand, the other characters grew up in those environments, so it makes sense that their individualities are marked by their physical strenght.
Concluding my review, I liked watching the anime, even thought I don't consider it a masterpiece, it's very good. If you like animes that portray darker themes, such as crime and gang violence, but at the same time can give us some loving and funny moments, plus, also enjoy fight scenes without supernatural intervention, you'll probably enjoy this anime.

[CONTAINS SPOILERS]
This became one of my favourite movies ever. Initially I thought I wouldn't enjoy that much, because the protagonist has a terminal illness, which, directly, makes you think about her dying in the end. But I was so wrong. Do not be fooled by the premise, this isn't a sad movie, although, you might shed some tears. The atmosphere of the movie is neither sad, nor melancholic, and you can feel that both from the animation, that illustrates colorful scenarios and a cozy environment, and from the events the protagonists find themselves.
A very interesting thing about this film is
...
that it gives the viewers valuable life lessons through two complete opposite points of view. The main leads are a very cheerful popular girl and a loner apathetic boy. They become friends through unusual circumstances and in the begginning it seems like the film is about how the girl helps the boy, but in the end you realize they helped each other. But, the way Sakura changed his life forever is undeniable. She lived knowing she was going to die soon, but it was almost as it didn't matter to her, because she had so many chances of dying as anyone else, since you can die in so many other ways that aren't illnesses. She decided to live her life to the fullest: to her, everyday was valuable and worth living. Her will power inspired Haruki and changed his life forever. Him, being someone who didn't have, nor wanted friends (initially), at first found her annoying and didn't care about her or her illness, which actually made her want to be friends with him even more. From his friendship with Sakura, he took many life lessons with him.
I find the ending of the film beautiful. Yes, I know a lot of people wanted Sakura to live and for her and Haruki to be a couple, but, in my opinion, the ending is as perfect as the rest of the movie. And I'm not the kind of person who likes sad endings, I'm a strong believer that most shows and films shouldn't portray sad endings, since we already have reality to see those, but, to me, this ending isn't like that. With Sakura having a terminal illness every viewer starts watching the film knowing she is going to die in the end, because of her illness. And that's where the most powerfull scene in the film happens.
She dies ... but not because of her illness.
She is walking in the street one day and a random maniac stabs her to death. She had a terminal illness and she didn't die because of it. This scene fits the film perfectly for a simple reason. The main message of the film is that you should enjoy life, every day of it and be grateful that you're alive. However, since she's dying, the impact is not the same, because the viewers unconsciously think she has to live her life like that because she has her days numbered. But that's wrong. The way that she dies is very powerful in the way that it could happen to literally anyone. She would've died if she wasn't sick. Anyone who was walking in that street could've died. That's what's memorable in the film, it teach us that we should all live our lives to the fullest because we don't know when or how we're going to die, even if we have a terminal illness our days aren't numbered, because destiny is completely unpredictable. In addition to that, I am very fond of the other lesson the film preaches through the "carpe diem" motto: simplicity. The main characters show us that to be happy we don't have to reach great gigantic achievements in life. Sakura was a teenager who lived her life to the fullest by going to school, meeting with friends, going to restaurants, visiting new places, dancing, etc.. Through her perspective, that was enjoying life, she didn't have to become a millionaire, or travel to every single country in the world, or become famous, or live any other lives society considers to be the only ones worth living. Having a simple life can be a way to seize the days if that's what you want, because the film teaches us that we should do what makes us happy.
Another thing I find beautiful in the end is Haruki's development. Haruki's changes were very small throughout the film, but in the end we could clearly see how much he had improved. Even after her death, he continued to live by the lessons their friendship teached him and he still considered their friendship as something valuable, even if he had suffered when she died, because he realized that he couldn't escape pain during all his life and that some pain was worth if it meant important connections with other people. Before dying, Sakura had told him that she wanted him to be friends with her best friend, Kyoko, something he showed no interest in. But after realizing how people are important, he fulfilled her dream. The ending scene shows him and Kyoko visiting Sakura's grave and messing with each other, showing that they, indeed, became good friends.
I will probably rewatch this film a million times, because each time is just as great as the first. Totally worth watching.

I enjoyed watching, but I would say it's probably not for everyone. So, overall:
- Good plot, it´s interesting, it makes you want to watch the next episode as soon as possible because you just can´t wait to see if the protagonist will be able to save her friend;
- It's a comforting show, in the way that it mixes sci-fi, through the time travelling thing, with school life and all the clichés that come along with it; however, it's not another cute high school romance, it talks about very deep and emotional topics, such as depression and suicide; plus, the animation is very pretty and it
...
matches the atmosphere the anime exudes;
- The main message is very emotional and well portrayed, as we see how such minor things, that initially have no weight in one's life, can turn into huge regrets; the anime portrays this very well, making the series very nostalgic and emotional.
On the other hand, there were things I didn't enjoy very much, although they didn't completely ruin the anime for me, but it might for others. So here's the points you should have in account before watching:
- The main character, Naho, is quite boring, she's a very shy girl who we barely know anything about, besides that she's in love with one of her friends; she can be very irritating in some moments due to never having courage to do anything, and I know, we shouldn't judge someone for being shy, but her personality can be very frustrating for viewers;
- The show doesn't do much to develop the characters, because, besides the main trio, Kakeru, Naho and Suwa (only in the last three episodes), the others only appear to say some funny line in the background and we don't really ever know anything specific about them, so you might feel the show could have done more;
- The ending is bittersweet, because it's not sad, but it makes you feel like it should've gone differently, somehow; a lot of people recommend watching the movie to have more information on the finale, but I would say the movie even emphasizes more the bittersweet taste; another thing about the ending is that it felt like the there's something missing in the plot, like they should've explore the friends reasons and lives a bit more for a better understanding.
Concluding, if none of the reasons above bother you entirely, I'd say you will enjoy this anime very much. I, personally, enjoyed partially, but didn't feel exactly fulfilled, that's why I said it's not for everyone.
