If you liked Shakugan no Shana add

...then you might like Seirei no Moribito add

Both Seirei no Moribito and Shakugan no Shana are both action/adventure series combined with comedy and romance. They have action scenes that are very plot-driven, not dragging on for several episodes like other pure action series, and both have action sequences of great animation.

If you liked Inukami! add

...then you might like Tonagura! add

If you like Inukami for its comedy and ecchi aspect, then you might also like Tonagura!, which is also a comedy/romance/ecchi series, but without the magic/fantasy. Both of the male leads are "a bit too friendly" even with much reprimand, and the main characters are always in a love/hate relationship.

If you liked Suzuka add

...then you might like Bokura ga Ita add

Both Suzuka and Bokura ga Ita have very similar plots, in which one of the characters are distracted by the thought of another person that is not physically present in the plot itself. They are also very dramatic with few or limited comedy scenes, with great character development and lots of suspense for the roller coaster ride effect. The best way to think about these two anime is the genders are switch for the main characters of the two series. This only applies to romance, since Bokura ga Ita does not have sports as a prevalent theme.
