First let me say that the art of this manga is phenomenal and Nagatoro herself oozes with personality, with fantastic facial expressions. The art is what initially drew me to the manga and it is a wonder to behold.
However, the enchantment doesn't hold up, because by Chapter 11 there was zero character development and this series was already giving signs that it would be very repetitive. Dominant girl bullies submissive MC, rinse and repeat ad infinitum. To test this hypothesis I skipped to chapter 73 and saw that their dynamic was exactly the same, and by the end of that chapter a trope was used
...
again that had already been used twice in the first 11 chapters ("do this for me and I'll reward you" [implying a kiss or something similar], but then something happens and the reward doesn't materialize in the end). Hypothesis confirmed.
Well, at least I got something good out of giving this manga a try: I found out the artist used to draw hentai doujins. Hehehehe ~~

Note: I read the de-censored version, which has absolutely stellar art. I do not recommend reading the censored version at all!
What impressed me most about this manga is how non-standard their sex is. There is amazing variety in the positions: the characters hug each other during sex, kiss in wildly different ways, there is analingus, ball-sucking, and even a girl touching herself WHILE getting boned from behind to try and get a clitoral orgasm in along with the vaginal one. The only other author that comes to mind with this level of variety in sex is Akatsuki Myuuto, of Shoujo x Shoujo x Shoujo
...
fame.
Art: The girls are very realistic. They don't have perfect, idealized bodies; some of them have little deposits of fat and such, which makes the whole thing a lot more believeable. Girl body types are very diverse, there is something for everyone here. Overall drawing quality is superb.
Story: Very meh, because even though the entire class went on the trip, no male student manages to get a single erection despite all the exciting things to see around them, EXCEPT for the one class rep who gets a massive, incurable boner. The teacher set up a "boner relief" tent for him, and now every single girl in the class wants to try and "relieve" him of his problem.
What wasted potential for gangbangs and variety in the male type. The rep is the only one who gets lucky in the entire 255-page manga, except for the very end, but then it ends abruptly.
Character: Girl personalities vary wildly, so there's also something for everyone here.
Overall it was well worth the time spent.

At the time I'm writing this, 366 people have taken the time to rate this anime, but none have written a review. So I might as well be the first.
First, I'd like to point out that this is a short animation, lasting only 30 minutes. As such, it's fair to say you can completely ignore the review and just watch this OVA yourself, as no reviewer can be a better judge of what pleases you than yourself! I'll begin with what impressed me most, the art. It's reminiscent of the works of my favorite anime director, Makoto Shinkai. The backgrounds are drawn with much more detail than the characters, creating a sort of contrast. While the backgrounds in Taifuu no Noruda don't quite have the absurd level of detail found in Shinkai's works, they are still impressive. Other than that, I was also impressed by the feeling of impending doom the incoming typhoon managed to convey. The art direction here is definitely great.
Sadly, the story is not up to par. It involves a mysterious girl that appears during the typhoon and is rescued by the main character. At the end of the show, her origins are still not explained, and we know just as much about who is she is as when the story began (that is, nothing). The story also involves a conflict between the main character and his best friend, which is resolved at the end in a rather clichéd way. Also cliché is the impossibly ridiculous way in which the protagonist saves the mystery girl from her impending doom. But oh well, this is anime, and concessions have to be made.
One could argue that the 30-minute duration puts heavy constraints on the way the story can be told. While I agree, there are also other anime who managed to tell a good story in the same timespan (the excellent Harmonie (also referred to as Anime Mirai 2014) comes to mind). I feel like this one, however, would need two or three times its current length to be told in a satisfactory manner.
The characters are likeable and have potential, but again, there was not enough time to flesh them out and cause me to get attached to them.
If you don't care about having a fully realized story, then by all means watch this OVA. The art alone should be worth the half hour you invest into it. Besides, I can think of far worse ways to spend half an hour.

I'm a fan of shoujo. Some of my favorite animes are Kimi Ni Todoke and Ao Haru Ride. But I have to agree with the reviewer Legendzerox that this work is "abysmal", mainly because it has ZERO buildup. The pacing is extremely fast and doesn't leave you any time to get excited and full of expectation for their romance. Furthermore it's very liberal with using classic tropes from anime/manga that everyone has seen a thousand times, which get irritating very quickly and scream unoriginality.
Let me lay down some examples:
- The Main Characters (MCs) meet when the girl (Fuuka) bumps into the guy (Yuu), and calls
...
him a perv when he sees her panties, even though it wasn't his fault. Originality level: 0
- At the end of the very first chapter, Yuu comments about Fuuka: "She's a weirdo who *never* listens to *people*, she's violent, and she *always* misunderstands the situation" (asterisks are mine for highlighting).
Really? You've known her for literally five minutes and you can already draw conclusions about the stuff she ALWAYS and NEVER does with PEOPLE? This line was absurd in so many ways that I facepalmed. Had to restrain myself from dropping the manga right there.
- Also at the end of the very first chapter, he says about Fuuka: "Even right now, it feels like some great force is pulling me in. Into the hot wind that envelops her". This was so corny that, again, I had to restrain myself not to drop. This stuff would be acceptable some chapters later, but not on the first.
- Hot guy hits on Fuuka, Yuu gets jealous, then we find out the hot guy is gay... wow, so original!
- Love rival appears on the *second* chapter. Oh, and she's also Yuu's childhood friend. 'Nuff said.
This story had potential, but it's so poorly executed that it eventually became too painful to go on. I dropped it on the 10th chapter. Its only reedeming factor is its clever use of the Yuu's obsession with Twitter and his cellphone. Yuu's thoughts regarding Twitter and the social comment thety provided were quite interesting.
