Shoujo Null
add

"Shoujo Null" draws thematic inspiration from "Elfen Lied," with Riaha mirroring Kouta's role and Marie embodying traits akin to Lucy. Both manga depict the bond between a human and a powerful, seemingly otherworldly female companion facing societal challenges. The parallel of Marie's darker side with Lucy's malevolent persona adds a compelling layer of similarity, threading the narrative with psychological complexity and exploring the consequences of their extraordinary abilities. Fans of "Elfen Lied" may find "Shoujo Null" to be a captivating journey through friendship, conflict, and the blurred lines between good and evil.

MÄR
add

The characters in Mar really resemble the main characters in One piece, one similarity is that they are all fighting for a goal. In Mar, it’s to bring peace to Mar by defeating the Chess Pieces in a fighting contest while in One Piece, it's to find One Piece the ultimate titular pirate treasure. ~Luffy and Ginta have similar personalities (being Shonen heroes) are both the leaders of their respective teams ~Zoro and Alviss both don't like the leader at first, but they eventually come to. They also have similar personalities ~Usuop and Jack seem really weak at first, but they both want to get stronger. ~Nami and Dorothy are both sort of thieves and they try to con Luffy/Ginta when they meet them ~Sanji and Nanashi are both womanizing pervz Both manga have the whole “protect my friends and my goals” thing going for them. They also both have their funny moments and great fights that you never get bored of.

Eiichiro Oda (the creator of One Piece) was once assistent to Nobuhiro Watsuki (the creator of Rurouni Kenshin), so this is a given. Similarities? They both have: * Insanely powerful swordsmen (Zoro mostly) * An entertaining cast of main characters * A friendly main character * A fiery female lead * Both gangs fight injustice * Sad backstories * Similar tastes in gags Differences: One Piece has less romance between main characters and focuses more on the adventure.

Both series involve people with disabilities and struggles through society. Both also involve parents who struggle for their children. Only difference is that one involves autism (With the Light) and the other involves deafness (A Silent Voice). There is also more bullying in ASV than in WTL. Also the mother in the former series is more strict and cynical while the mother in the latter series is more kind, supportive and idealistic. That being said, ASL is more depressing than WTL.
