Short but sweet manga on what value your life holds.
Advice to readers that aren't gna read the whole thing: savour the read, don't speed through it.
Story: Interesting hook that lead to a story with quite the melancholic feels. Pretty solid story that had its ups and downs.
Art: It wasn't anything special but I felt like the style fit the narrative quite well. Looking back, many of the frames were blank backgrounds but maybe that actually fits the story more contextually, as it is a character driven story with where they are located less important.
Character: MC is probably relatable to some degree. Hard

Honestly this may be a love or hate anime. Each category (barring sound/music) can either be a turn on or turn off for any given person.
Obviously, I fkin loved each and every moment of it. -one thing before i begin: About the ecchi. Please. For goodness sake don't skip watching it just because it has ecchi. Yes some parts are borderline hentai but please. Soon after 5 or more episodes you'll find it natural and not that bothering anymore. Don't act like almost seeing tiddies will distract you from what an awesome anime this is (unless you some horny 12 yo that is then fap away) ...

"Akame ga Kill" is perhaps one of the more gory and dark mangas I have read up to date. With basically GoT styled killing of characters, this shounen turns into a bloody manga in the end.
Mild Spoilers Beware~~~~~~~ Story: The story itself starts out pretty promising, with Tatsumi joining the Night Raid, determined to exterminate all evil from the Empire. Then you get introduced to Teigus, 48 powerful weapons. The plot isn't too dull or cliche for the most part as with "death flags" basically every fucking chapter and everywhere, characters seemed to be dying once per few chapters. Towards the end tho, more weird ass evil ... |
