I’ll start simple.
Durarara!! is one of the best stories I have had the pleasure of experiencing.
It is one of Narita Ryohgo’s works, and I tell you, this guy really makes wonders.
There are 3 main aspects -that I can differentiate- in which his works are based.
1) Unique characters. In his stories he chooses to create a lot, yet, very unique set of characters. All of them are different and extraordinary in their own way. Not one or two, or three main characters, but a lot! Each character is a main character in their own story and we watch how these rather ordinary individuals’ stories

collide with each other’s in this city. From extravagant, intimidating characters like Izaya to shy, timid characters like Anri, it’s a myriad of personalities. Each one has their very own personality and you can feel how they are, you could maybe relate to some of their emotions, you could even predict how they are gonna act based on determined circumstances. You come to understand how they feel; if they will like or dislike something. Every character has their own problems and they cope with it in different manners, giving even more impression on how each one of them is unique, as we.
2) World setting. He chooses an environment, a world in which the events will unfold. He makes it feel alive. He throws all his characters in this world of his for us to see how they interact with each other and how common lives can result in extraordinary stories. The city of Ikebukuro feels alive. It’s just not an empty park, it’s a playground in which every decision has consequences in everybody else’s lives. People that otherwise are strangers to each others see their lives come together. Big city, small world.
3) Non-linear storytelling. Certainly, this is the cherry on top. This story -or rather set of stories- is told not exactly from beginning to end. We usually change perspectives, points of view, we go back in time, and then take a peek into the future, only to then go back to the present. We come to appreciate how a story is just not one tale, but a mix of different ones.
Durarara!! is amazing not just because it has unique and memorable characters, not just because we see them interact with each other and see how the story unfolds before us with a splendour worthy of reverence or how a very different, interesting and intriguing storytelling deliver us what could be a simple gathering of consequences and coincidences, but the mix of all these factors.
We see how the world is live. How a character decisions affects others. We see how each of them have their own lives and the fact that we see them taking part in another story gives a sensation that you are not watching an anime or reading the novel… it gives you something else.
A story that you can expect anything to happen. A story that uses supernatural elements to deliver a profound, beautiful, funny, complex, with substance, and amazing tale.
I’ve come to appreciate all characters and how their contribution to the story affects the fate of others, unfolding events, creating alliances, discovering secrets, or just keeping some truths buried.
I’ve come to value the characters, learn their names, enjoy what they enjoy, dislike what they dislike, understand their motives and will, be happy when they succeed and feel sorry when they don’t.
The music of Durarara!! is a matter I divide in two parts. The OP & ED and the general OST.
For the first part, the OPs and ED are glorious. They catched my attention to 100% and never skipped them. Being my favorites the first OP, Uragiri no Yuuyake by Theatre Brook and the ED, Trust me, by Yuta Matsushita. They both got me watching them, enjoying the beat, the imagery, they made me smile and, if I knew japanese, probably even singing along because hell, they are so catchy. The ED especially made me really happy. Seeing all the cast reunited and how every group has someone connected with the others.
The OST, while is repetitive, gives you a sharp notion of what feeling and message every track is trying to deliver. In the instant you hear certain track you get your mood set for the occasion. The tracks are easy to spot. While that could sound bad for some people, I particularly think it’s not a problem since the tracks are easy to the ear. Not annoying, not boring.
The Art style is not spectacular but certainly is not bad. Rich colors and variable palette depending on the time of the day. In Durarara!! we will watch the story develop in early day, dusk and night. Depending on the events we will see brighter colors or pale tones.
I have had no complains in the visual style because it is fair. It’s not top notch but sure is a very good style to deliver this story. Same with the animation.
So, to conclude, Durarara!! is sure a piece of art you have to see and value for yourself. As unique as you and me are, this story is and sure it can catch you in an unexpected way.
What are you waiting? The city of Ikebukuro is waiting for you.

Expelled from Paradise is a movie that at first I was not sure what to expect from but I ended up liking it and having some good memories from it. Made by Gen Urobuchi, this story focus on another paradigm of society. The movie explores the meaning of humanity and personal reality. What is right, and what is wrong. What true freedom really is.
[ Story | 7-8 ]
The story by itself is intriguing. Humanity has left the Earth because some sort of apocalypse happened and most of the Earth was turned into a desert, making each day a survival test.
...
Humanity had created an “Arc” in which they now live as digital entities. Their genetic code is converted into data after birth and they live in a Matrix-like society. Is this the paradise they are led to believe?
Personally the story doesn’t have any break ground plot twists, more so it uses the story to transmit a critic, a message, a feeling. The irony of a human civilization that may have abandoned what makes us human, and ironically fallen into the past albeit they seem to think to be the future.

The art style is based on 3DCGI. For me it was a surprise. I particularly don’t like CGI but I had to admit it was a good CGI, Budget CGI. The character designs are good, feel different, the environments looks great and vivid. The expressions are also very well made so I really couldn’t complain.

I won’t say it’s bad but I don’t remember any particular songs on the OST that made me remember them. Of course, the actions scenes had some great music accompanying said action but there were also a couple of songs that were nice to hear. This, letting along the credits music that almost made me shed a tear with the punch line.
[ Character | 7 ]
As a 1h and 47m movie, there was not much room to much character development. We basically have 3 important characters but, don’t get me wrong, they are good characters. Each one of them has been given just enough personality to make them memorable. They question the reality they are facing and make decisions based on their own experiences and even giving some good speeches along the way.
[ Enjoyment | 8 ]
At the end, I left the movie with a smile on my face. It was a great experience that left me thinking about the meaning of life and what makes us human. How can humanity, ironically, deviate from the path they want to follow and may end up doing the contrary. How little but important ideas can be mitigated just to avoid seeing the light. How a dictatorial doctrine can be masked under the word “paradise”.
For me it was an interesting topic to think about.

Once again, I enjoyed this movie. I don’t think you can have a bad time watching it, in fact, I hope you do and appreciate the real message it wants to transmit.

Well, for starters I must say I did not enjoy this anime but I will give credit where credit is due.
I don’t the the whole idea of sexualizing some little girls into this extend (so many lower angle shots and other stuff that made me cringe) or the whole magic girl idea that Japan seems to like for whatever reason. I must say that I watched this because some Fate/ fans friends told me that 3Rei was good and was worth watching the previous seasons first (I’m still to check that for myself).

The story, for me,

is boring. Plain and simple. I don’t find joy in watching some “magical girls” over moe-fied to funny stuff while fighting the evils of the world. Leaving that aside, the plot is WELL CONSTRUCTED. Why do I say with this? The mechanics are based of facts already used in the main Fate/ franchise, like the origin of the Kaleido sticks, servants, dimensions od, mana, prana, and some other things. Those resources were used to create this universe and this story that while I find boring and not in my taste at all, I won’t deny the author did a good research and documented well before writing, and that’s always a good thing. You know, to keep consistency even if we are talking about an Alternate Universe (AU).

The Animation is good. It has some flaws in some frames that do not move smoothly but overall is a good animation. I do not like the art-style tho, at all.
The use of FX is great, you know there’s a lot of lights and explosions going around.

The best part of it, the music. Good OST, the music used for fights was really good. And inclusion of classic tracks like EMIYA make the music get a better rating, even when they are from FSN originally. I don’t say the same for the OP and ED that I didn’t like at all. (Would give it a 6)
[ Character | 3 ]
Yeah… this is weird… I like Illya, Rin and who else but in the real Fate/ franchise. This “Illya” tho… I don’t consider her Illya, but a character that looks like her in this AU. She doesn't have the qualities that made me like Illya in the first place, in fact, I highly dislike this Illya and almost all the characters. Same goes with Rin, just a shell of what she really is, I only see a over acted tsundere shell.
[ Enjoyment | 4-5 ]
Too much stuff that I didn't like, while the animations are pretty is not enough for me to enjoy an anime. I can understand and accept that people may like anime like this but, this doesn’t seem to be something of my taste. Random power ups, sometimes ignoring principles already stated, lack of real character development.. fanservice on little girls…
[ Overall | 4 ]
For me, my rating is 4 (Bad) to 3 (Very bad). While I said that the plot has bases and the author documented to write its story, I still didn’t enjoy those 10 episodes. There were episodes better than others but for the most part I watched each episode with cringe or a serious expression. It was not something I would rate with 5 (average) or more since I didn’t enjoy the anime.

Darker than Black Genesis of the Meteor
Well, where should I start? I honestly liked Darker than Black since the first episode, I got that vibe of “I'm going to like this” since the first episode and that’s is basically the same feeling I got with this second season.

I’ve seen many people commenting that they hate this season, that is bad, bla bla bla. I tell you what, this season is awesome. Don’t let other people tell you it’s bad because it is not.
Yes, this season is different from the

original Darker than Black but it keeps the essence.
This season takes another aim to what the first Darker than Black was. It still has our beloved Hei, but it doesn’t take place immediately after the ending of the first season. We find out that this season has a new main character, and Hei takes a secondary role in this story. Take it as a new stage of Hei’s life and his story. There are new and interesting characters, returning old faces, feels and plot twists that made me keep watching.
This season is different, but different doesn’t mean it is bad. Some people may not be receptive to change but once you accept that you will see the beauty of this season.
[ Story | 7-8 ]
The new story sets about 2 years after the events of the first season, and at the beginning takes us to Russia where we will meet our new MC. That’s it, I’m not diving more into the story. I will tell you that the changes implemented in this season made it feel fresh, different, mysterious and at the same time familiar with what we’ve been experimented before. My hype went up just with the first episode.

The art style is the same, but the animation got an upgrade. Movements feel good and smooth. The 3DCGI got an improvement too so as the special effects. What I’m trying to say it is pleasant to the eye.

This season packs a new OST that fits the new setting and the standards of Darker than Black. The OP is simply marvelous, I liked a lot the visuals that gave me actual feels when watching certain scenes. The ED has espectacular too, both visuals and music, really relaxing and enjoyable. I never skipped the OP or the ED, not even once.
[ Character | 8 ]
This part is the most important for this second season because the progress and outcome of the story is tied directly to the evolution of our two MC characters. Yes, I said two. Hei will have a huge development in his character that will be crucial for the story, the same goes for our new MC, Suou. Taking focus on the new character, it was easy to like. I find it easy to understand at some times and interesting to know more about at others.
As the first season, there will be times you will inevitably laugh, because there are some character interactions that are truly gold. However, there will be times you will feel sorrow or pity, in the end, this is Darker than Black we are talking about. Feels tend to hit out of nowhere.

As I said in the beginning, I knew I was gonna enjoy this season, despite everything I read I knew inside me I was gonna like it and there you see, I loved it.

Once again, it was a fantastic season that left me wanting for more (remember that after this season, there are the 4 OVAs of Darker than Black: Gaiden). Keep your mind open to change and this season will not disappoint you.

While reading the first volume (the 2009 version) I found myself enjoying it, quite a lot.
The first time I read about this Strange Fake novel, it did not wake any interest in me, I mean, I did not find even the title very appealing at the moment, but I am glad that I did read it now because it is just a fantastic piece to read. I found myself wanting to read more, chapter after chapter, really interesting. I fell in love with it.
It’s to be noted that you should watch or read Fate/Zero or Heaven’s Feel before reading Strange Fake, not only

to avoid spoilers but to understand better the concepts and catch all the references (there are references to Fate/Zero, FSN, and Fate/Apocrypha, among the ones I could catch)
I was hyped to read this because of Gilgamesh, I wanted to “see” him in action once again, and when he appeared it was awesome. I’m impatient to see how he develops in this Fake Holy Grail War.
There are moments of fun, suspense, drama, action, all of them mixed but at the same time very distinguishable throughout the chapters. A great amount of this war’s servants are really bizarre, and “strange”. They differ a lot from what we have previously seen in other wars. That itself is amazing, it gives this particular story a different feeling, a different setting, a different soul and that’s amazing. There were many moments when I thought to myself “hey, this novel is really living up to its ‘strange fake’ title… awesome”
To the current date, this became more than an April’s Fool joke, or a fake prologue to a “game” (I’m glad it did not become a game, I hate those stories in where YOU are the main character…that’s why I prefer LN, manga and anime over games/VN). In any case, the translation of the LN volumes is very slow (Currently 2 volumes are published, and I think not even the first volume is translated) and the manga seems to be translated further but not by that much compared to the novel.
Anyway, this was a GOOD read.
Story: 8
I enjoyed reading, I gave it complete attention, it entertained me, kept me wondering what was about to happen, and made me pass page after page. It looks like a dark story like Fate/Zero in terms of how dense the plot is, and those a great news!
Art: 8
Each art used was beautiful, I can't complain.
Character: 8
Both Servants and Masters seem to be very interesting. You have to read to understand, but I know they all have great stories, and hell, you will may even spot familiar faces.
Overall: 9
I enjoyed this so much, again, I'm glad this did not end as a joke, and by the time I'm writing this, it became a full real story being published in Light Novel format and Manga format. The problem is the translation jaja.

What can I say? after re-watching Fate/Zero I am absolutely sure it is a masterpiece. This series played with my emotions. It made me feel anger, sorrow, joy, adrenaline, pain, sadness…
Visually is a wonder, every work Ufotable has done is utterly beautiful, the music is amazing, the characters are unique and charismatic and every single one of them has their own story. The pacing is great, and as a whole it’s a journey, a roller-coaster of emotions. I recommend this anime to anyone with good taste and likes Seinen. It’s an anime that leaves you with questions and more questions,

making you wonder what’s going on, and later as the plot unfolds, you’d find answers. I love anime like this.
Characters [9/10]:
Not all the characters are perfect, that’s why I only give a 9/10. There are amazing and deep characters like Kiritsgugu, Kirei, Gilgamesh, Saber, Alexander among others that will captivate you with their stories, dialogs, and interactions. Sweet characters like Irisviel that immediately will make you care about them, other characters that you will like them to die, not because you don’t like them, but because they deserve it, or maybe they just made their part so good that you hate them. Others that, despite what they have done, you will feel letting them go.
Art [10/10]:
This anime has one of the most, if not the most, outstanding animations in the anime industry. I talk about Ufotable, this animation house always delivers amazing quality both in visuals and in audio. The animations are sharp and smooth, the use of CG is perfect, the FX additions make everything even prettier and amazing, making the battles a total carnival of light and speed. The choreography in the battles is also splendid, you can perceive the precision in every blow, every slash, every shot.
Music [10/10]:
I fell in love of the first OP as soon as I heard it, it was beautiful, it made me feel that I was to begging a journey and oh, what I journey it was. Every OP and ED was amazing, being my favorites “Oath Sign” as a OP and “MEMORIA” as ED, and then “To The Beginning” (2nd OP).
The soundtrack is very immersive and very melodic. Each song goes amazingly well with each situation. So it be clam, joy, suspense, danger… Just one song can set you in the correct mood, and even make you shed a tear.
Enjoyment [10/10]:
I think I’ve already explained myself here jaja. This is one of the best anime I ever seen, and it still is. I loved every second, every minute, every fight, every resolution, every backstory, from the beginning to the very end.
If you want a story to enjoy asking yourself questions, wanting to learn more about the characters, why they do what they do, what they seek to win, and many more and specially if you are a patience person (patience is a virtue) then this a series you will love as I did since the very first episode.
If you are reading this and you have not watched yet Fate/Zero I hope this just gives you the motivation to watch it and enjoy one of the best anime I’ve ever seen.

This was a great journey, I was not expecting this from a game based anime.
As many here, I watched SAO first but I knew from the beginning that there was no comparison. This is the real MMORPG anime, here we go.

[Story 8]
From the beginning we are immersed in the context that the real world is no more, we are in a video game. No questions asked (well, there are, but that is not the point). Like if you woke up from a dream and you are now in a new world, you have to carry on, cope with it, build

your new life in this new world.
The approach is very interesting, and as I could see and experience with the anime, it was a good choice.
It has MMORPG battles, real use of the mechanics of the game, slice of life... this last one is very important, because as I said, your life is now this new world, the characters have to become one with new world as they did with the old one.
[Art 7]
The art is good, not astonishing but good. You can really feel good with the animations, and backgrounds. Not much I can say in this section.
[Sound 8]
A lot of in-game sounds, FX and a good OST. That Opening is going to be stuck in your head for a long time.
[Character 8]
Almost all characters in this anime are well developed, and that's much to say since there are a lot of characters! You don't get backstories since they understand the past is the past, and they don't care much what they were but what they are now and what they can do.
But, some characters get backstory, and that gets reflected on how they act and how they development as a characters in the series progresses. It helps you to understand their lives and why they are the way they are. It's difficult to dislike a character in Log Horizon.

Database! Database! Just living in the database! Database! Just say Wow wow wow wow! (That speaks for itself)
[Overall 8]
This anime really is worth watching. Doesn't matter if you are or not into MMORPG games, the story is appealing, good characters, development, pacing.
It's difficult not to compared it with that other anime but, this is a different league. Trust me on this, this is another level above.

I haven't experienced a single art piece that made me give 3 10/10 in a row. First Steins;Gate, then Steins;Gate Egoistic Poriomania (Episode 25) and now Steins;Gate Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà Vu. I cannot say more than just wow, wow and wow. White Fox and Nitro+ did it again, they made a sequel worthy of the S;G universe, I don't know how to express my joy.
Just starting the movie, those shots, that Kurisu's monologue, and that beautiful Opening song, that was enough to bring my feelings. It was fantastic.
The humor with the comeback of Alpakaman, Amane Yuki, Okabe's delusions and his alter ego Hououin Kyoma
...
are just some of the things that make you laugh and enjoy this movie. But the suspense and drama are still there, the same story. Again, White Fox and Nitro+ did it again. Truefully, I have never faced a movie that despite the original story being over, could be so freaking awesome and cool. It was a boom, I enjoyed every single second of this masterpiece, it has a lot of plot twist just as the original story.
The animation was beautiful, perfect, how can anybody ask for more? Truly, the movie makes honor to its name. The sensation of Deja Vu was always present for me. It's not about boring repetition, same old same old. No, this is totally different and admirable. I couldn't take that word of my mind.
At the end I could only clap and shed tears while i enjoyed another beautiful song, this time as the ending.
There's nothing left than say goodbye. It was a great adventure, and it was a magnificent experience, I'm glad I was able to enjoy this story, this amazing and epic story.
I repeat myself, this a 10/10
Story: 10 (Spoilers)
After finishing the main story (eps 01-24), White Fox expanded it with the episode 25 as the closure, but now it even expanded it with this lovely movie. It has every aspect that made S;G amazing. Humor, drama, suspense, plot, romance. Perfect.
Showing us a word without Okabe, how everything would go on without him, how everybody was reluctant to forget him even when they did. A lot of Deja Vus that were the same, but they were not. The thing that Kurisu made the same sacrifices for Okabe as he did for her, was heart touching. That OR204... oh, this feelings...why can't I hold them?
Art: 10
The animation was beautiful. The original series animations by itself were amazing, but this is another level. Congrats.
Sound: 10
The work of the Seiyus in this movie was amazing. Okabe's words where touching, you could feel the tension in his words. The same goes with Kurisu's, you could feel the pain, the fear, and the joy.
Character: 10
Perfect, beautiful. The same characters that we loved. The change of protagonist was really amazing, I have no words to describe how perfect this was. Kurisu was amazing in this movie, so did Okarin.
Enjoyment: 10
Every second was enjoyed, every second counted, I have to words to put it. It was a beautiful experience.

Normally when you finish an anime and then you read there's a OVA, you usually think its an episode with no plot and just cheap fun, just to remember the characters. Usually with fanservice. But not here, White Fox just gave us a sequel of the True Ending of Steins;Gate and god, how I loved it!
I'll talk about the episode so, if you don't want to be spoiled, skip =)
After all the suspense and drama of the original S;G, maybe a month later, I'm not sure, Okabe is still a mad scientist. The only mention of Kurisu made an impression in Okabe, it was obvious
...
that he wanted to see her again. It was logical that Kurisu wasn't there, it made sense. I was not watching the classic "character popurri" that almost always takes places in OVAs. Then Daru adresses to Kurisu like "tsundere as always" so that means they "remember".
Watching that moe scene of Moeka was really cute, I've got to admit
