I've never read the manga and if an anime makes you feel like it's rushed and skipping important world building stuff right from the first episode when you never knew anything about the source material then something is wrong, REALLY WRONG.
Story is bad, rushed, boring.
The art is average, it's ok.
The sound seems to be taken out of a random RPG game.
Characters are horrible except for one, they're just there to compliment Matty, give him free stuff or scream. Matty is worse than a Gary Stu.
The black dragon with little anime girl voice is the best one, just because it's fun to listen to her.

I started Megalobox Nomad waiting for the return of the great Gearless Joe, to see great fights and focus on the tournaments. I ended up finding a story about home, what is home, who's at home, what it means to be a human being and how to live with the parting of a loved one.
Nomad has a full on dramatic turn and I loved every bit of it, the emphasis on culture and family, it's a beautiful anime and I'm happy with the way it ended. So if you're waiting for a lot of action then you're out of luck, but if you're curious about ...

I really tried, that will be the title of what you're about to read... because I did, I watched 6 episodes growing more bored until I ended up skipping to see if something changed and it was always the same. Let me be quick so you don't have to waste time.
- Characters look super generic and have really bad designs, the only good one is the pink haired classmate, but she's not even original, because she looks like Komugi from HxH. You can tell who's important and who isn't just by looking at hair colors, and of course the generic MC has brown hair and ...

This is the second part of my review... as interesting and different the first part of Gantz was during his time, the second stage did a good job for 90% of it's run, I was one of those excited teens, rooting for Kei and Kato and then freaking out when things didn't go well, and that was great!
Then something happend, pressure for censorship and backlash arrived, the anime deviated from the source material HARD and tried to make it's own ending, turning it into forced philosophical nonse that left the fans saying "I wasted my time on this didn't I" So in short. Story when it ...

What can be said about Gantz? It was a big deal when it came out, ahead of it's time probably since it had to deal with a lot of censor and bans all over the world. If you were a teenager (like me at the time) you loved the violence and anxiety it gave you, it's was almost as if you were there.

I'm just here to warn you about this anime so if you want a detailed review then read it somewhere else.
Bad adaptation, really bad. The manga is interesting and ok up until the end, everyone has their own opinions so I won't spoil. The thing is, the anime takes the sweet and cool style the manga art has and turns it into colorful boring stuff you'll see in any other badly animated Netflix anime, the story feels dull here and the characters are boring. I got tired so I'll just say it, read the manga first, you'll enjoy it way more.
