I can distinguish this series from its prequel and sequel due to some powerful scenes (which I will not spoil). To me, that makes it special, but other people might think the real value is elsewhere.
Story (10/10):
What makes the story one of the few 10's out there is that it combines romance, comedy, a tale of growing up, and mixes it with what may be the greatest motivational shounen I have come to know. If i had to find one flaw, it would be that I could never amount to Ashirogi's (the main mangaka duo) drive to succeed.
Art (7/10):
The art's nothing special, except for the

manga shown in the anime. It looked like it was drawn professionally and makes you want to read the fake series, even if you can't. One thing that always bothered me about Bakuman though, was random moments where the characters' faces would get a new design just to express an quick emotion with a comedic effect.
Sound (8/10):
I can replay the openings and endings just to remember this anime masterpiece, which is a plus. The ost though never really stood out, only puts in noise where it could have been awkwardly silent otherwise. This is only in Japanese, but they get so into the roles that you forget there are people speaking into a mic. It adds a lot.
Character (10/10):
Why another 10? Bakuman 2 does the most out of the 3 series to bring out the purpose of each character. After one series, you can really start to bond.
Enjoyment (10/10) & Overall (9/10):
I loved it so much, that I started collecting the manga just to relive the story. It is one of those series that everyone must see if they are at all into motivational stories that go above and beyond what they think shounen is.

After the string of disappointments this show has given me, I felt as though I wanted to write a review to tell others to stop after season 1.
Story (5/10):
The main concept of the story is carried over from season 1, which happens to appeal to me. The problem is that Ren now decided to add in an unnecessary and unwanted new character, but never developed the romance which was supposed to be the focus of season 2. It's an example of one of the worst teased romances out there.
Art (7/10):
The art is just as good as season 1. (For those who have not seen season

1: It is smooth, colorful, but average.) The problem is that it does not use goofy exaggerations in the art to drive the jokes home, as it did in the previous series.
Sound (7/10):
Nothing special to say here other than the ending was charming enough to make me re-watch it a few time. Other than that, everything did it's job.
Character (6/10):
What can I say? I love the characters in Chunni. The problem here is that they added a character from Yuuta's middle school to mess with the progressing romance and explain how Yuuta exactly got the "eighth grade syndrome". We did NOT need that. He already said that he got it from "too much anime", which I'm sure made him a little more relatable to some people here. What is not relatable to many is a high school harem (which does form). If it is relatable... I envy you.
Overall (6/10):
I ended up enjoying it less and less as it progressed. Do not be fooled by the possibility of an actual romance or by the decent first few episodes. It's not worth it. This is a great example of an anime that you can drop after season 1.

I have not seen Inuyasha in forever and do not remember the story, characters, or anything about it, but one day I stumbled upon a copy of this movie. It's as if something wanted me to remember the days of watching Inuyasha on TV.
Story (7/10):
The story was a bit corny and cliche (well, at first), yet had a certain charm to it that kept me watching. What I really liked was how this kept me up to date on the main story as of yet while still incorporating a movie worthy plot.

How nice. Several characters are given backstories that may or may not have been mentioned in the main story (I don't remember). Even in the movie, they continue to develop.
Enjoyment (9/10):
I enjoyed it to the very end. It made me want to watch Inuyasha again, which I believe to be one reason for the creation of the movie.
Overall (8/10):
This deserves a watch weather you know the main story by heart or have forgotten the glory days, as I. You can tell the staff worked hard to make this an enjoyable experience, and fun for all ages. Gah! The cliche is contagious. Can't believe I said that.

I find art to be an important element in anime. This is just me personally. Now this is an example of an anime where the art does not make up for its cons.
Story (3/10):
This is the worst part of it all. It is supposed to be about three robot girls going up against four other robot girls that want to kill the Robot Girls Z. Why? Because some person on a screen wants them to die. The lack of reason kills it.
Art (9/10):

comedic moments. If you don't like the comedy, you can at least appreciate the effort.
Sound (8/10):
Catchy opening and ending, but the soundtracks never stood out or got you in the mood for an upcoming event. The voice acting is ridiculous, but in a good way. They knew to sound goofy and childlike.
Characters (6/10):
Everyone had their own personality, which I like. The downside is that they were too generic. The villains did have more unique personalities, so it made me look forward to most of their appearances.
Enjoyment (5/10):
I did get lost from time to time, but the comedy made me at least smirk now and then. If I knew more about the series they were parodying, maybe I would have a better enjoyment.
Overall (6/10):
It was bearable as it was only 3 episodes. It didn't make a large impact, and I would never recommend it, unless I was joking. That said, it wasn't particularly bad, and I think they put a good effort in. Goes to show, effort isn't always what makes something good.

I feel guilty and confused after watching R-15. I'm confused on why I feel guilty, and quite a bit more.
Story (7/10):
I'll give it this. The story had a unique plot, but it was combined with very unoriginal concepts. It need not stick to a very serious storyline, or it would have gone worse. Every time it does start to get serious, something would throw you off. I would say it was funny, but it couldn't get more than a snicker out of me.
Art (5/10):
It was average. Nothing to go on and on about, but still caught your eye as an ecchi tends to do. I

mean this in the least perverted way you can think of.
Sound (7/10):
Catchy ed, especially. Filled in silent moments with an adequate amount of sound effects and background music, but I'd never go out of my way to look for it after watching the show.
Character (5/10):
The only character I liked was the main character due to his unique skill. Everyone else felt either bland, emotionless, or was a loose canon throughout. No one really got any development either.
Enjoyment (5/10):
I like the ecchi elements being incorporated in an innocent way, but everyone seemed too unaware of the perversion surrounding them. The lack of an outstanding element (story, art, etc.) left me wanting to stop watching.
Overall (6/10)
Watch once, and be done. If you're running out of ecchi, this may be one to check out, but don't look for anything worth praise.

Romance Dawn was the one shot manga made by Eiichiro, before he started One Piece. Same concept, yet it was lacking something. He found out what that was and made One Piece. The OVA tries to merge both the manga and keeps the existence of the straw hats.
Story: (5/10)
Luffy has an adventure on an island while the crew looks for him, allowing the manga adaptation to take place. All is well and good, and is just as lacking. That's when the crew comes and start tearing the enemy ship apart as if saying that it's "out with the old, in with the new".

good as One Piece art was during the battle at Marineford. For those who don't know it, it's fast paced and fluid-like. It works seeing as Luffy is rubber.
Sound: (7/10)
One Piece has great ost, voice actors, and great use of them. The great ost's of One Piece did not get a chance to really shine, seeing as it's only one episode.
Characters: (6/10)
Silk was going to be Nami if it continued to be Romance Dawn. She is much like Nami, but is more of a fighter, even if she has no special ability. Everyone in the village has a very real reaction to Luffy. He is seen as someone who does not seem natural. What is he? As stereotypical pirates invade, Luffy and his crew do the usual.
Enjoyment: (6/10)
I liked it as a whole, but am glad it's only one OVA. I could not take 600+ episodes of this.
Overall: (6/10)
Good adaptation of what failed to be, but I'm ready to get back to what actually made it big. That is the One Piece we all know.

This is an often overlooked anime when looking at different anime by Shaft. It's a great example of how care-free you can feel while watching anime. This particular anime is very soothing itself, and should not be overlooked as much as it is.
Story: (6/10)
Nothing too special in and of itself. There are two plot-lines you follow. One is Erio trying to become more of a normal girl after living (what seems to be the majority of her life) in a futon, not doing anything. The other is of Makoto trying to get used to his new life in a new house, living with his aunt

and Erio, and attending a new school. It's charming to see it progress, but it never has you wanting to know what happens next very badly. Take it as it comes.
Art: (10/10)
Shaft's addiction to turning heads shows up once more, but this time, even more beautiful. Everything is bright, happy, and shiny. Never a dull moment with the art, and the animators don't get lazy.
Sound: (7/10)
Alone, the soundtrack is plain, but it is used well in the series. It is silent when it needs to be, and can cause perfect feelings of awkwardness. The voice acting was overall decent, nothing to sneer at.
Characters: (7/10)
Erio is the most developed character and you grow to like her. The other characters are either cute, funny, or Makoto. He does not develop much, yet his personality makes up for it (mostly). Someone as strange as Erio needs a cynical friend such as Makoto to make moments even more light-hearted and funny.
Enjoyment: (8/10)
It was a nice, quick anime. I enjoyed all the goofiness, the cuteness, and the beautiful art similar to 5 Cm Per Second (even a quick reference if you can find it). Nothing I would go and buy, but it kept me happy and entertained for a good while.
Overall: (8/10)
If you have not seen it yet, I recommend that you do. If you want something light-hearted and visually appealing, this is a great one to go for. Not at all a waste of my time.

Ao no Exorcist is a short shounen that has become memorable. That's not the same as saying it's great though. Here's why.
Story (6/10):
Rin and Yukio were raised by a priest, yet are the sons of Satan. Sadly, it turns into more of a school setting- based anime. While there are still some good, fast action scenes, there are too many plot holes as the story goes on. They train to be exorcists in this school, even though they are part demon themselves, so that becomes a large plot device. One of the better ones too. It's OK, nothing spectacular.
Art (8/10):

the action scenes real well. It can be dark or light depending on the scenario. Well animated and colorful enough to not loose my attention.
Sound (7/10):
Cathy openings and endings. The ost's, though could use some work outside of battle themes. The English dub was not quite as good as it could have been, as it does not fit the character roles all the time.
Characters (8/10):
This has to be the most memorable part of the show. Rin is calm and collected, and only freaks out when a normal person would, unlike most main characters. This is not to say he's not fun, he knows fun more than any stuck up snob in the academy. This is what I do NOT like. Yukio is the most legalistic person on the show. Whenever they argue, I find myself wanting to have Rin beat the living shit out of his brother.
Enjoyment (7/10):
Good popcorn flick. The beginning was great, then slowly turns into a typical shounen that has semi-fulfilled potential, that does show up at times in the series. Once I was finished watching it, and listening to the ending themes over and over, I could move on with it always in mind. Don't rush into it expecting very much and you'll like it.
