It's an animated music video, how much content can there really be? Enough to provoke me, I guess!
Have you ever watched something that made you feel all giddy because you could tell how much fun the creators had making their work? That's because humans naturally try to relate to each other, projecting themselves in other's shoes, making us feel what they feel. The meaning of Atashi wa Mondaisaku plays upon this fact so well, portraying the average life of a klutzy and quirky businesswoman in this humorously bittersweet music video that manages to stand out among other countless Japanese music videos through its sheer fun

and undeniable enjoyability. I don't normally rate music videos, but on the music video scale, this is certainly better than most. Since three talented artists worked together to create this little piece, I'll break it down into three sections.
Animation
For the animation, it very much brightened my day to see such humorous yet characterized visuals portrayed so well. The humor wasn't poorly done, the artist (Eiri Na Hamono) took extra time to make sure that things were funny without lowering the quality of their work. There were so many visual gags easily missed, I had to watch the MV again to really appreciate it all. The character design may seem simple, but it's really fitting and yet still memorable. The amount of expression and work put into the animation is truly astounding. I love how characterized all the movements are and how the artist was successfully able to capture the entire idea of an unlucky and awkward businesswoman so well. The typology was extremely well done on a side note, and I love how the characters interacted with it. The 2.5D was especially interesting, as both 3D and 2D elements meshed well. I actually really appreciated all the different types of media used to portray the characters and lyrics, especially with the live-action tea cup and the use of Flipnote Studio (Yeah, the one on your Nintendo DS). Some of the graphics were pixelated for stylistic effect, and it really coupled well with the crunch of the singer/music at the given times it was especially prominent. The editing and effects used to polish off the completed piece made everything especially flow well and nice. There really is a progression into the chaotic based on the visuals alone, which is a clear sign of good visual storytelling.
Vocals
I'm not in particular an Ado fan, but man she sang so well in this! There's so much character to the way she pronounces words or does vocal inflections. She really did not compromise at all, spicing up repeated lines (such as that in the chorus) by doing something a tad different and abstract with the lines every time. Throughout the song, she sounds more deranged at certain parts, which was also portrayed in the visuals accordingly and gave those bits of flare extra emphasis. I love the way that she includes laughs and whispers jarringly that makes not a single moment dull. Really, it is so well done and satisfyingly clear.
Music
I think the music (made by Vocaloid artist PINOCCHIO-P), was also really well done. It had lots of funk and greatly used unique sound effects throughout to give every part its special moment. The way that 'beats dropped,' I suppose you could say, was especially satisfying and gave clear direction on where the song was going to go. I love the jarring way that the music would take dips or leaps; Its fast-pacedness was fitting for the meaning of the song and music video about even mundane happenings in life being so sudden. The way that the song talks about and dramatizes such mundane things is hilarious yet formidable and provoking. I love psychological humor. This thing has definitely has it, yessir.
Alright, to wrap this up, I'll just summarize the points I was trying to make: All three areas (visuals, music, and vocals) work together extremely well to make some fast-paced, hilarious, yet surreal piece that is extremely relatable and satisfying to watch. Why not give it a go? I really enjoyed it, for sure! I ended up typing this review longer than the time I spent watching it, but I just wanted to report back on how much quality this teeny-tiny piece packs into it. If you are a fan of the quirky and fun, consider watching it!

Have you ever wanted to witness something that would broaden your views of television media? You, good sir, have come to the right anime.
The quality of this criminally short film was beyond gorgeous- Calling it that would be an insult, actually, because words cannot express how beautiful it actually was. No subtitles were necessary for me to know exactly what was happening in greater detail than the majority of the content I consume. With a grace too complex to describe, this short 30-second animation will change your life in ways unimaginable. It completely fills its purpose at being the most convincing commercial in recorded history

of mankind, far exceeding anything produced under the label as 'advertising'. I'm proud to say that his was my 600th completed anime.
If you want your socks to be rocked and your life to be complete, Snickers x Dr. Stone is a must-see theatrical experience that transcends the definition of fiction as we know it.

Wow! I actually hate this so much! With a firey passion, really. Have they the nerve to possibly slander Eve's perfect masterpiece, Bokura Mada Underground, with some cheap crap? I guess so, to answer that rhetorical question. First off we have the song, which is, of course, obviously far worse than the original. The Vocaloid voices clash pretty hard with the music. It sounds unnatural and uncanny, which is usually expected when using a digital voice like Vocaloid. I even quite enjoy Vocaloid, normally. However, in this case, it plain sounds bad and poorly tuned. And I'm not even comparing to Eve's vocals which blows

it absolutely and completely out of the water in every aspect. Second, we have the visuals. Yes, I like Miku. And all those other girls. But have you ever even seen the original video? Although we don't know those characters previously, the music video holds a much larger emotional resonance than this. There was symbolism, an interesting and unique world, absolutely gorgeous animation, and it themes and messages worked congruently with the music and its lyrics. This was practically a picture slideshow of an idol group singing with complete disregard to the song and its lyrics. I can forgive this fun endeavor, but it is admittedly very shallow and no longer holds a fraction of the impact the original had. But now, I shall judge this properly with all thoughts about the original cast aside to make a conclusion for what its for. I still hate this. Waste of time. If you are the creator, how dare you. Goodbye.

This is actually the best thing to exist ever, and anyone who says otherwise is wrong.
It's funny. Jokes are funny. Art style is funny. Sound effects or lack of said sound effects is funny. And more content with the characters is a sweet succulent bonus. Why would you need anything more than that? Perfect ten, you fools. This can literally only improve your experience and thoughts involving Code Geass, which I assume is the only possible way someone could have found this masterpiece. It's like nine minutes. You could watch it on the toilet. If you still have no time, just speed it up.

There's no voices or pacing that you could possibly miss out on. That now makes 4.5 minutes, so watch it and recommend it to everybody.

This show is a mess, chaotic and multi-directional, but with hidden purpose that waits a little to reveal itself. Niea Under Seven has an extremely untypical format that may not be for everyone, so beware before entering!
When the series starts off, it establishes itself in ways that are deceiving, which is why probably many who would have liked it ended up dropping it too early to find out what they were missing, or people that wanted what it promoted itself as were disappointed by the end. You may think you’re in for a generic slice of life comedy, but don’t get it wrong- it slowly

culminates into an almost-existential-like-drama before taking a hard left down sentimentality-to-the-maximum lane. The pacing changes at the drop of a hat in the most jarring and weirdest ways possible, it has an incredible amount of random joke breaks in the middle of semi-important sequences creating completely disoriented moods, and overall, the show is just so disjointed that it’s hard to enjoy any of its genres to the fullest capacity if you’re not used to its antics- However, in any case, it is hard to ignore that Niea Under 7 has many many subtle but well-done aspects that are almost too faint to sense upon your first look at the series. It expects you to want to get familiar with it before it reveals its true purpose and emotional themes, so hang on a while- we’re not done yet.
Its is not as shallow as it portrays itself. It dabbles in emotionally-heavy and bleak topics such as finding a purpose in life, using its spontaneous humor and lighthearted tones to bring about profound messages about the meaning and the sentimentality of the small things in life in an unexpectedly unique and refreshing fashion. It also addresses an individual's impending and unavoidable responsibility for themselves and life, as well as topics of the value of familial connections- more than just by blood, but friendships as well. In that way, it’s sweet, homey, and relaxing, yet its bit of comedy that exaggeratedly proclaim themselves at the start would never make you think it could be so. The humorous way Niea Under 7 delves into the themes of discrimination some may find as tasteless humor, but its true intentions behind such acts require patience, in which it later reveals its underlying message that all people- and aliens- are equal in a non-generic, humanistic tone that applies for much more than fiction. Honestly, I hate to admit how profound and great it develops such themes, and it's a darn shame if you only take it surface level upon a glance. This series runs much more deep than that and is shockingly complex.
In stating all of these points, it still has its flaws, which some may find harder to ignore than others. It takes no effort to accommodate anyone, and many people may take this boldness to offense. You’ll see that Niea Under 7 finds its footing over time and proves to become flawed in progression. I think that anyone will be able to discern its true intentions by episode 7, so try to hang on until that point. Its subtleness makes it great, and the way that each character develops in such realistic and relatable ways is superb. Its worldbuilding of the alien society is very subtle yet realistically done in that you don’t know everything about it, but it's enough for you to understand the story and feel the impact of certain events. It’s extremely personal in that way, and the show feels like a friend who won’t leave your side that you need to observe and understand before you can appreciate who they are. The themes it tackles are engaging and worthwhile, and enriching beyond almost any anime I’ve seen. It’s so unique that I doubt you’ll come out from watching it with the thought that you’ve witnessed everything it offered before. I just wished it wasn’t bogged down by so many tedious acts of criminally drastic changes in pace, mood-killing jokes, and unnecessary genre switches or supposedly ‘filler content’ that downplays its amazingly done plethora of qualities severely.
In short, Niea Under Seven’s a great show buried in flaws and misconducted introduction- mostly because it purposely subverts you for greater impact later. Everyone will probably have a different opinion of it, so try to enjoy it in your own ways and take time to understand it and appreciate it for what it is. I’m sure you won’t regret it.

Spoiler Free!
Penguin's Memory really surprised me with how well made it was! I wasn't expecting much from an old, niche anime movie, but everything about it is extremely solid, and deals with some rarely discussed topics in a subtle way. It becomes a narrative discussing the aftermath of traumatic experiences in a very realistic manner through the main character's daily life. It's very relaxing, and there's no over-the-top acting. The simple art style becomes very charming, with the core story dealing with some more serious, thought-provoking topics, so it is enjoyable for all audiences. might expect. The pacing is a little slow compared to a lot of shows made recently, but it never drags on. Honestly a very good movie, and I'm surprised it doesn't have more members. Feels like a classic, and not at all like you have to push yourself through it or talk yourself into liking it.

This music video was fantastic in every sense of the word! Eve, the singer and main composer of the song, is well known for his lyrical genius paired with gorgeous animation, and this title is no different. The song, as he stated, is supposed to depict a sense of loss after losing a friend. Melancholy sounds emanating from the music and his lower, softer voice perfectly translates this intention. It's astounding to hear how he can modify his voice in order to program a certain feeling in his songs. the visuals, carefully crafted by Glens Sou, are beyond impressive. Simplistic character designs allow for animators to devote more time into creating a sense of weight to the characters in their movements. Glens Sou is a master in his field at this in particular. Also, the color choices that he uses go in perfect harmony with the visual elements, putting emphasis in the right places and creating a more believable world for the characters. Glens Sou does not often color his work, but I'm pretty sure there were colorists hired for this particular music video. It's impressive that the added colors did not hinder the lines' prominence in the process. Certain colors, such as the red featured in the frequently referenced friendship bracelet are also representative of the story's themes. For example, the 2 charscters' bond portrayed in the red of the "string of fate". Meanwhile, blue and black obviously portray the grief in loss. Lastly, the white is used for acceptance. Both visuals, lyrics, and music tell a story of loss, grief, and acceptance. Everything both animators and musical artists contributed in this piece acuminate into a near-flawless experience, and, being a 4.5 minute music video, it is an easy watch that is very rewarding to anyone who runs across it. Another knockout by Eve!

I wish I haven't watched this.
Extremely vulgar, childish, and hilarious is exactly what it is, and its exactly what Aachi wa Ssipak trying to be. You can tell the writers took the stupidest storyline imaginable and "made it good" by adding genuinely good plot twists and jokes. Dare I say even the characters were likable to a degree. Once you accept the fact that you are watching this hideous abomination, you can begin to appreciate how beautiful this gem actually is. It is perfection in the story it is trying to tell. Don't get me wrong, this manga isn't really "bad", but there's practically nothing to even review here. Just a mediocre little side story about Patema Inverted, too plain and honestly uninteresting to be notable or provide anything worth reading. I think you would almost definitely get more enjoyment and knowledge about the worldbuilding if you simply read a Wikipedia article with the information this manga has to offer; At least that would be direct and to the point instead of this nonsensically borderline ecchi thing we got. It doesn't even match the original tone of the movie, so that's also something to be aware of if you simply want more movie- this manga won't do it. It's not genuine, it's not philosophical, it has no tones of humanitarianism. It really just feels like a cheap semi-drama riddled with nonsensical slice-of-life bits, if you would even call it drama at all. It's more like the characters ran into an issue and get over it so fast that I'm not entirely sure if I'm supposed to take it seriously.
Well then, in conclusion (or if you simply don't want to hear my explanation), this manga might not be the thing for anyone, no matter if you enjoyed the movie or what. It's too different from the original to be enjoyable or knowledgeable, and its just a filler story with no content and lackluster qualities.

I'll keep this short and spoiler free for any of those who are thinking about watching it and haven't quite gotten there yet!
I think Dr. Stone is fun, but also overglorified and kinda a waste of time. It's great for anyone who likes a fun story to just pass the time by for a bit! There's a huge hype factor that keeps the show going 100%, 100% of the time. Pretty neat experience. However, anyone who is looking for deep, well-written story will weep tears of disappointment. too hot either. (Found myself wanting to screenshot certain frames out of sheer mystification on their existence. Sometimes bad, but mostly funnily absurd) There are literally no trials or challenges that really hinder the characters, either. Essentially, it's playing an RPG on easy mode made for a fetus. Point A to point B. You collect everything without challenge, and sit back and watch the basic plot points roll without dealing with almost any consequence. All this being said, it's fun in that easy way! Jokes are 7/10 big laugh, and the hype makes you root for the characters, although I could not help but feeling the wee bit like a degenerate being played so easily. But If I knew what Dr. Stone was going to be, I wouldn't have watched it with there being so much other good stuff out there with deep themes or storylines. I'm tapped out! :D
