When the little things, spark and sparkle into something truly breathtakingly beautiful.
If you want a top tier Yuri anime, that is filled with sweetness and delight. This will be the show to enjoy, and watch.
Story and characters: 8
What I really love about it, is the pacing of the writing. It doesn't just throw in them together, as if it's shoehorned in right away just for the sake of it. Instead it's written at a reasonable pace, that keeps attention, and makes you actively enjoy and want for the ship to boot. What adds extra too, is that both sets seem like genuine people. Making the
...
thing not only realistic, but also enjoyable from a liking stand point. I found myself smiling from ear to ear, anytime Yori and Himari were on scene together. Not only was it super duper cute, but with how goodly written both characters come across, and how well timed it's all put together. Really makes you want to root for them from the get go.
It's Yuri. But it's Yuri done right damn it.
I love it for how cute it is, I love it for it's pacing, and how natural reactions are, even if it's from misunderstandings, or genuine causes. It's well done in every stretch of the word.
Art and sound: 8
There is a real nice shine to it that you'll see throughout. Which suits the theme of the show. It's cute, it's bright, and it's here to tell a sweet tale,of naturally falling in love, and experiencing love. It's as if we're in a long running music video about love in it's brightest form. Ready to go about each and every step, and enjoy the ride. Follow that up with a wonderful melody of sound that fits scene by scene, and you've got a well put together product in every sense of the word.
Whisper Me a Love Song won't just be a good anime of the season if it keeps this up. It'll be a top tier Yuri recommendation for a good while to boot. A watch for sure.

I'll say it season after season. But when silliness hits well, it hits hard.
Kaijuu on paper looks like the kind of show, that will fill your action serious bubble, and more so. But when you actually watch it, there is more to it. Given it's fun, and comedic reactions. It kinda gives me Little Witch Academia vibes in that sense. Having a serious idea, a serious setting. But go at it with a mix of that tone of seriousness, and general fun. A mixture of styles and tones, that'll carry the series through out.
Story and characters: 8
Where it gives me same vibes too with LWA
...
in terms of it's story, of it's two main characters. Showing the dream as kids, to want to be this, even if in one case, you may not be good enough for it, but push comes to shove, luck is on your side, and if you keep pushing, you'll get there. Even if in this case, luck comes in the most weird way, that could really go against you, but then at the same time, that bit of plotline could carry the show in terms of it's direction and story. Which seems to be the theme of the season. As who doesn't want to cheer the oddball?
Point being. Kaijuu has quite a collection of characters, that will add a lot to each and every scene, that'll make it more and more memorable. It's seen through every new main face that gets introduced. They'll leave an impact, that'll only leave you wanting more. It's action packed, it's funny, it's a blast. It's well worth your time.
Art and sound: 8
Fun breeds success. You can tell through the animation, the voice acting, everything. While it all looks good in general, but having that natural fun and charm about it, really adds so much to the overall experience. Not to mention, monsters for a change, actually looking like well done models. Followed up with a great quality of sound. It's fun all round. You can tell, there has been a lot of creative fun been put into this, and it shows. Well done on all ends.
Kaijuu is real cool and fun show, that for sure deserves your attention!

Two sides of a coin.
This is what this show is, a really drama filled roller coaster, that really play into both sides. Which really explains the message within this show. Someone can have perfect in everything, but still have their own faults, and worries. While one who could be seen as plain, or cold, could have larger aspirations, then one may not realize. Something that'll drive this show forward, and keep it engaging from start to finish.
Story and characters: 7
Opposites attract.
Really, that's the common basis for the story. Even within the first episode, there was a foreshadowing line thrown in there, which perfectly captured it.
...
Following two different faces, with the same desire to be a voice actress, that have gone through differences, that really puts them apart. Which for a 12 episodic show, can be enough to carry a show along.
My only worry for it, is if it gets...Too creepy in retrospect. Which might be enough to put people off, but if done right, it'll be a good show for the season. Even if it deserves credit for it's realism, and honesty. If you're looking for a cute happy show, then you might be in te wrong place for that. As there are some heavy truths on this show, that will make it stand out a bit more, then a full on cutesy kind of show.
Art and sound: 8
What I really love about this, as it really can highlight both sides. As if with just a few altercations with appearances, lightning, the works, and anyone can look like a different person. Even on the radio, it can really make it out to be who is true and honest. We hear only what we believe is true, which then through this art style, it's like how the saying goes. 'Actions speak louder than words.' well in this case, lighting, and expressions can tell a lot more. A nice touch in this anime, followed up with a good sound design team to boot.
Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote is very heartwrenching, but will do enough to make for one of the good animes of the season. A watch for sure.

What if the series The Boys met Power Rangers, the anime.
While of course, both are different in their own right, but in terms of the context of it's plotline. There are similarities between them. Which only makes for a more interesting concept. Think of that love one from a few seasons ago. That alone will bring more attention to this show. More eyes on a product, is simply better. As if this was a cookie cutter hero show, it'd be good sure. But it'd be too basic to really stand out. But with the concept that this has, it'll stand out a lot more than
...
normal.
Story and characters: 8
As explained on what the show is. It does a great job in really making it. Because lets think for a moment. We all worship heroes, we all get caught in the moment. But have we ever thought about 'whats UNDER the mask' To us, they're heroes and villains. But to them, they could be more then that. Each side plays a role. But under that role, there is a legit person, with legit thoughts and feelings. Even if it's not all black and white. Where you can have good intentions, or bad intentions. But it's quite clear, that everything is not as it seems, and how everything will unfold, will be the main interest and driving point with this show.
Because lets face it. What if some of the 'so called' bad guys, were actually nice? Or even if they have evil intentions still, they'd want to stop a bigger evil, even if it goes along with their evil means? The same can be said on the other side. What if the 'so called' good guys, were actually egotistical assholes? There is a lot to play with the hero genre, and this, is an interesting take on it for sure.
Art and sound: 7
Fit for purpose, but also quite flashy. What I really love about it in parts though, is how unnerving it is in parts. Like, they're supposed to be heroes, but the way they're presented behind the scenes. You'd think they're villains already from that alone. While the so called bad guys, look like they've been taken from some random location, as if they're not more than wimps that these 'heroes' are picking on. The art style can really make you feel sorry for them, even if some are more likely still evil themselves. It really draws the line there. To go with a great sound design behind all that, and you've got a well put together anime.
Loser ranger definitely deserves more attention for your liking. Providing a neat idea, with an interesting concept. One to enjoy for sure.

What if Devil is a part timer, and Hinamatsuri had a baby.
That's my honest take with this show, when it comes to it's opening presence, but then also it's comedic timing, and character reactions. It really looks like a blend of the two. While following on it's own merit, that makes for a heck of a good time.
Story and characters: 8
The first episode in itself really pushes the product in what it's all about. Opening up as if it's a serious concept, only to follow it up with some silly, and goofy fun in terms of it's pacing, and how it progresses. Which only makes
...
it a joy to watch from start to finish. Which really explains the vibe of the show. You have a more serious setting, with being a detective, and the work that follows with it. Along with the concept of living expenses. But then you trow the beautiful wild and crazy on top of it. It's silly, it's stupid, but it's bundles of fun.
To touch more on the story and it's characters, though as I mentioned, the way it's written, really adds to it to some degree in terms of how well the characters come across. Which is what you want from a more goofy anime. This show more likely would feel a bit more flat if it was too serious. But because they went with a more comedic touch, it adds so much more to it. As if it really fleshes out characters more than before.
Art and sound: 8
First off, let me just scream about the opening, because by lord, I love how it not only flows, in general, but also the music. But how creative it is. I love the effects it's given to make it an anime OP to remember. Not to mention how just in general, there is a sense of FUN when it comes to everything here. The people animating it had fun, the ones who made the music, the visuals, the voice acting. It all seems like everyone had a blast in making this, and it's clear to see. If you're in for a cool fun weird anime, with a hint of serious nature to it, you're in for a treat here.
Now that you've come to the end of my pre review. Why not grab some SALAD, sit back, and lets have some laughs.

A Condition of love. More like a play on the meaning behind it.
I say this, as it's what the show basically presents itself as. Which can add to this show as a concept. While it will have a story, and plot. But it's noticeable undertones, really showcase what the anime is all about.
Story and characters: 7
These two mix together in a show such as this. The characters make the story, and the story is built around them, and the concept of it all. Because we all fall in love. We've all had our crushes, or how our perception of love is judged and added up
...
throughout our lives. We've seen the red flags, and we can see how one can feel in regards to the concept of love. Which is where I feel like the writing of this show really comes full circle. We all approach love differently, and you see it through how the characters act. Hananoi might be the hot guy girls crave, but under that could be too much to handle. Meanwhile Hinase compared to 'other' girls could be seen as plain, or boring. Which brings insecurities about oneself, even if you've got a good head on your shoulders.
Point being. How they've written the concept of love, and how addicted people get behind it, is a really detailed and great way to put it. and the show has done a great job of understanding that in more ways than one. Quite an interesting take, and a way to write a romance kind of show, and how it'll develop beyond that.
Art and sound: 8
This gets a higher grade because the style is a really great looking style. Which is rather fitting for these kinds of shows. The kind that you wish certain shows of different genres that have some odd choices of art style, and animation wish they had. While it's not breathtaking, but the style not only matches the theme, but is fit for purpose, and good to look at. What more could you want? To top it off with good voice acting, and a well presented direction in terms of reactions, and how to capture the theme of the moment. Both have done a great job here.
A Condition called Love certainly is something. Really showcasing love in every department, which if you've got the taste for it, will be enjoyable for you to watch for sure.

SPICE AND WOLF IS BACK BAAAABBBBYYY.
This series is near and dear to my heart, and more likely the same to most of you. For a number of reasons. It's more likely one of your first animes that you've finished. Or read for that matter. Or at the very least, one of the few series you remember seeing around as a kid. As for new faces, they'll be welcomed to the gem that is this series. Spice and Wolf deserves not only a watch, but deserves to be red, to be appreciated, and so much more.
Story and characters: 9
You might look at the premise, and how
...
it's presented, and sure, a thought might be that with 'so many action packed anime, why does an anime centered around harvest, and merchant business tricks, the church practices, get so much rave reviews?' To put it simple, it's down to the world itself, but also Lawrence and Holo themselves. Holo is a treat herself, wise as her name suggests. But Lawrence really comes off as a solid character, that only gets greater as the show goes along. But most of all, the pairing between them, is stand alone such an excellent pairing, that sure, will have bumps in the road, but experiencing every inch of it's story and contents, not only makes for such a well written story, but such deep and well written characters to boot.
The story will have many hooks, twists and turns, that'll be quite a watch from start to finish. It'll be one of the stand outs of the season for a reason, and a large part of that is the story.
Art and sound: 8
Any time I think of this series in terms of the Art and Sound. I always have flashbacks to that opening, which I'd honestly rank so highly, as that OP will always be one of my favorites, hell might be my favorite opening of all time. This adaptation's version is stellar in itself. As you can tell there has been a lot of effort and detail has gone into the product of the whole entire musical aspect. Really capturing the vibe of this show. But not only that, there is a certain charm about it. A charm that really gets you hooked on Spice and Wolf as a concept, and the show itself. Presentation is very key after all. They have to hit it out the part, as making a new adaption, will bring to joy to long term fans, but also put it on a spotlight for new fans who'll get into this series. While it's not breath taking by any chance, but it's quality of production has really done the business. To actually finish it from start to finish, which this series so rightly deserves. It's art, producing, and sound are making a solid start, which will only grow and grow over time. A great job all round.
So, so so glad that Spice and Wolf has returned, I couldn't be happier, and many will enjoy this gem all over again, and get even more love that it so rightly deserves. Watch it now!

The sense of mystery huh. After all, who doesn't want to connect to the 7G, and warp reality right?
Story and characters: 7
For starters, I will say that the show at first does take a moment to get used to. You might be thinking 'what on earth' is going on? Why am I watching this? But as the show progresses, you'll want to stick around to see more of it. Which is mainly done by it's pacing, and sweet characters, each layered through their personalities, and what drives them. Even if they don't come across as super amazing characters, but they don't need to be. They're
...
fit for purpose, and that's all you need to be a good anime. While it's not a stand out by any means. But because of those elements, it then expands the story out more for you, and you'll want to learn more about the mystery of WHY this is happening, and WHY this happened. Something we grasp and learn bit by bit as each and every episode progresses. Our four girls aren't the only main characters however, they're also joined by a mix of wild bunch, and sweet characters that fill out the casting quite nicely.
Art and sound: 8
This is where the true meat and potatoes of the whole production comes in for me. While we've got a stellar story to follow, and be invested into. here we've got quite a creative direction in terms of it's quality, and production. It's as if throughout it's mystery, they wanted to produce such a weird and colourful world, that much like other shows, you'll remember for it's aesthetics, and pallet more than anything. Wich isn't a dig at the story, but more there is a lot of creative juices with it's production of art style. Matched with a great sound quality, that really blends all well together.
Shuumatsu Train is quite an experience venture, filled with wonder and interest. With cute girls to boot. What's not to love? It make take a moment to get used to, but you'll be glad you did. Give it a go!

OK. The music didn't have to go THIS hard like damn.
It's as if you took Carole and Tuesday, and gave it some Cyberpunk flavor, and you've got this as a result. A result that while takes a moment to really kick in, but as made for a quality product from start to finish. Sure, it's not without it's flaws, but it'll be one the good animes of the season no doubt.
Story and characters: 8
I will say, the story takes a good moment to get going. It really does, but once it does, your interest will be peaked, and you'll want to see more. But what
...
really helps the story, is the two main characters. Good chemistry can really carry a product forward. Something which Naomi has bucket loads, and it really meshes well with the more serious sounding Rouge. It's because of their bond and friendship, that makes you even more interest in the world around them, and the story they're trying to tell. You want to see where these characters go next, what they'll do next, the works. Having a good solid pair really amps up the show in terms of it's quality, and what it's trying to deliver.
To touch more into detail of it's story, as to me, it has such a nice blend. There is a level of fun and seriousness with it's presentation. But what I really like in how it does it, is that it's a very serious story, but the light moments really hit home, as if despite moments being hard, you can have a laugh and a joke here or there. As even with it being such, it's still treated with absolute seriousness, that doesn't devalue any of the story at all.
Art and sound: 9
One of it's key highlights for me is this for sure. The quality of it's art direction, just take the OP and EDs for an example of it. Hell well it looks, how it flows. It looks so good. Not to mention really capturing the landsaces perfectly and making each setting look and stand out real well. Not to mention the wonderful soundtracks that aren't just the OP and ED. But also during such as well. It'll pop out of no where, and really catch you off guard, and you'll enjoy such a rocking beat. Really well done in both departments.
Metallic Rouge is a fun and interesting anime, that'll be ones to watch for this season for sure.

Now this is unexpected.
Unexpected in how good this story actually is. As we've seen a number of shows, where they try to escape the red flags of doom, or don't care and flaunt and flash their OPness to the world. Or even those that seem real generic, that you just roll your eyes and look away. Sure, the context of story might be decent, but you've seen it a number of times before, and each time it gets less and less interesting. This on the other hand, adds an interesting twist to the product, which makes it far more enjoyable as a product, then it
...
would have, if it just followed the sual.
Story and characters: 8
What I really love with this, is that it doesn't just jump right into the meat and potatoes. If anything, it's like as if they gave a tutorial of the product first, and showcased what it's all about, before diving into the true main talking point of the show itself. As if it's a long cutscene, before we get you, and you get to create your character kind of vibe. A well done twist of the usual being moved into another world/game.
But what stands out to me, is the writing of this. It's not like the usual, and really stands out more. On one hand, it'll give you good characters that mesh well together, even if it can be a tiny bit pushy in some areas, but it's more understandable given the nature of the built up world. But imagine instead of a usual over the top full on she's front and center cause she's the popular one, here it's more the opposite, something which our main character is really trying her hardest to avoid. It's like you've been given the main character role, but instead of going with the main story path, you go and do the side missions first, and try your best to avoid any connection to the actual main story that is presented here. That touch alone for me, adds so much interest and value, that after watching the third episode, I'm left wanting to jump to Manga or such to read more. Props to the anime.
Art and sound: 8
Quality all round. The animation is solid, and there is real attention to detail to make things really stand out and presented well. Combine that with great voice acting, and a quality sound team. Meshed all together to make a great blendf for the product. The colours used for the magic attacks really left me impress for an example of all this. Just shows the attention to detail that has been laid out for this anime.
I'm really impressed by this show, and if the first three episodes give me that much hope, and wanting more, then it's going to be a great show to continue watching, so you should watch it too.
