* Non-Manga Reader Review*
After the massive success of the first season. It was inevitable that a season 2 was coming. The first season has many things going for it, a unique premise, high production quality, and fantastic voice acting. But what made this show into the massive success that it was, were the memes. This show has many clips and moments that can easily be made into memes, mostly coming from Chika. That along with the catchy OP and the Chika dance made the show very popular. It also helps that the show is genuinely great. So, has season 2 lived up to the first
...
season? At first, I was afraid that the second season may not live up to the first one. But after watching the first episode, all of my worries were gone in an instant. For me, the season even surpasses the first season.
The animation has gotten better, but not by a large margin. The voice acting is still top-notch, especially for Kaguya. The OP and ED are both bangers and the sound design is still great. The characters are still as lovable as ever. The cast remains mostly the same, except for a few new characters. But the main reason season 2 is better than season 1 for me due to the main issue I have with season 1. Its lack of plot.
Season 1 of Kaguya-sama: Love is war seems like a bunch of random stories that barely connect to one another. They were enjoyable to watch but didn't seem like the story had an end goal or something the cast had to do. The end goal of the series as a whole is to have one of the characters confess, but we all knew that it wasn't happening in season 1. So for me, the season didn't seem like there was an end goal to look forward to. The stories also don't feel connected, apart from the last few episodes. Granted all these problems that I said did not make watching the show any less enjoyable. This is just me being nit-picky and stating my opinion.
Season 2, however, has a clear end goal. Winning the school's presidential election. It has something that ties the events of the show, instead of them all being random events happening. There also has been a lot of character progression between Kaguya and Shirogane. The show is also generally more enjoyable. Only 4 episodes in, and I'm already looking forward to watching the rest of the show! But as it stands right now, season 2 of Kaguya-sama: Love is war is shaping out to be one of the best anime of this season! (it currently is the highest-rated show currently airing and the 30th highest-rated show of all time. With a score of 8.79) If you enjoyed the first season as much as I did, then season 2 will surely not disappoint.

After the massive success of Mirai Nikki, it's no surprise that more and more anime like it keeps popping up. Upon watching the first few episodes of Gleipnir. It seems to have the same vibe as a certain edgy anime that aired last season, "Darwin's Game". So if you enjoyed Darwin's Game, you'll most likely enjoy Gleipnir too. Both have protagonists that starts of being kind and unwilling to kill, but starts to change over the course of the series. Both also have female leads who may have hit their head a few too many times. The music, tone and the whole vibe in general are also very similar. For example, you can swap the OPs of both series and it wouldn't seem that out of place. Now, let's move on to the review.
Gleipnir's two main leads are Shuuichi(the male lead) who can transform into an animal mascot and Clair, a girl with a few screws loose. Both have to fight alongside one another in order to survive. Their general fighting tactic boils down to Shuuichi transforming into a dog mascot, and Clair getting inside of him in order to control the dog mascot.
The story is not super unique, but does interest me enough to keep watching it. The art and animation is quite good compared to most shows in this genre. The sound design is nothing special. The characters are generic as generic survival game characters can be(I'm not sure if it is a survival game, but it does give out that vibe). We have a male lead who is too scared to do anything. A female lead who's not afraid to kill. So, exactly like most anime of its kind.
I did enjoy it more than I thought I would. The mystery aspect of it was enough to make me want to continue watching it. Though it is still far from perfect. My main issue with it is the over the top amount of fan-service. Everything from the dialog to the visuals just screams "Let's make this as sexual as possible". The amount of times Clair has said "Let's become one" or stripped is immeasurable. The fan service also detracts from the serious tone the show is trying to create. Call me perverted for laughing every time I hear "Me and you are one" or "She inside of me". But there is no denying that they didn't do this on purpose.
In conclusion, Gleipnir is the latest anime to follow in the footsteps of Mirai Nikki. It has a fairly interesting plot and decent animation. But has generic characters and suffers from way too much fan-service. Even though I did end up enjoying it more than I expected. It is still popcorn entertainment. This show is definitely something I imagine angsty teenagers would enjoy. So if you like Mirai Nikki or Darwin's Game, then you most certainly will enjoy this show. But if you didn't then this show could still be entertaining to watch. But is nothing amazing or ground-breaking. So if wanted something to watch to fill the void after watching something amazing, then this is not the show for you. But if you're just bored and want something to kill time. Then this show might be worth your time.

Kakushigoto is a slice of life and comedy anime(originally a manga). Which follows Gotou Kakushi, a fairly well-known manga artist who draws vulgar manga. Kakushi desperately tries to hide the fact that he draws manga from his daughter, Gotou Hime. He goes to extreme lengths to ensure that his daughter will never find out. Which sometimes create funny and wholesome situations. It is also important to mention that Kakushigoto is framed as a flashback. The events have already happened and we are simply relieving them.
Though simple in its premise, Kakushigoto is a very interesting watch. The art and animation may take time to get used to. But I think it suits the show quite nicely. The sound design is nothing ground-breaking. Though I have to admit, the opening is a banger. It is noteworthy to mention that the opening makes it seems as though Kakushi has already passed away(I am not sure, hadn't read the manga yet) Although not perfect, each character is quirky and unique enough to easily distinguish them from one another.
I enjoyed Kakushigoto a lot more then I would have expected. Each episode is so wholesome, every time I watch this show it puts a smile on my face. Hime is such a precious girl, and should be protected at all costs.
In conclusion, Kakushigoto is a great show to watch if you want to smile. The story is nothing special. But the art, sound design, and characters are all great. It's also a fun and wholesome watch. In some scenes, it's even made me laugh out loud. Though I'm not quite sure yet whether this show is going to be a wholesome show till the end. Or if it's gonna pull my heartstrings(The way Kakushi suddenly disappears when Hime grows up in the opening does seem to make it look like he's not alive anymore. Though as I said, I'm not sure. This is just what I felt when I saw the opening). No matter which way the story ends up going, one thing is certain. You're definitely going to get a first-class seat at experiencing it till the end.

One Piece: Stampede is the 14th movie of the long-running One Piece franchise. Which follows Luffy, a pirate who wants to become the strongest pirate in the world, along with his crew, the straw hat. In this movie, the main antagonists are Mr. I work out a lot and a creepy circus dude. The creepy circus dude is holding an event where pirates gather together to try and find the treasure of Gold D Roger. Which piques the interest of Luffy and his crew. So they attend the
...
event, along with many other fan-favorite characters.
So you might be wondering what this show does that makes it stand out from all the other One Piece movies. To be frank, if you don't count the above-average animation at the end then nothing at all. It's exactly like any other One Piece movie, robots and all. Just a simple punching fight until the main antagonist uses a BFR (Big Fucking Robot) to try and destroy everyone. Which is one of my main gripes. The fistfight at first makes it truly feel like the enemy is really strong and is a treat. But after he turns into a robot it just seems clucky. It makes the fierce fighting at the start turn into a funny fight with a weird looking robot. But other than that I do enjoy the side characters which are fan favorites.
Conclusion
If you enjoy the other One Piece movies then you would also enjoy this one. Though, if you didn't enjoy the ones before then this one wouldn't change your opinion. Overall decent movie with good fan-service. Nothing ground-breaking but not bad at all

Guilty Crown: 4-koma Gekijou is a chibi version of Guilty Crown. Each episode is a bit over 1 minute, the animation barely has movement and it doesn't contain any plot progression at all but it's still enjoyable. Because of all references to other anime, for example in episode 3 Shu makes fun of Kirito by saying he couldn't just defeat everyone because he is not in SAO. It also contains more vulgar language than it's prequel, Guilty crown. Words like shit, fuck and fap are thrown around as if they were normal.
Conclusion
If you watch Guilty Crown: 4-koma Gekijou to see more plot progression you
...
would be terribly disappointed. But if you don't care about plot, and just want to see characters banter with each other or make fun of other anime then you would find Guilty Crown: 4-koma Gekijou quite a delightful ride.

Every season anime has at least one isekai. Since this is the case most isekai try to find a selling point or something that makes it stand out among the rest. For example, the main appeal of konosuba is that it is funny and defies the tropes of other isekais. Another great example is an isekai that aired last season "Rising of the shield hero" which subverts the tropes by having the main character that has been framed for a crime he didn't commit.
So what does Kenja no Mago do differently to stand out? Absolutely nothing. It is as
...
generic as an isekai can be. The main character dies and reincarnates into a fantasy world with unimaginable power. Along with a generic love interest. The cast is as cliche as it can get. But for some reason I can't find myself hating this anime. I found myself liking it even though it is so generic and cliche. In fact I enjoy it more than most isekai with an original idea.
The reason is it's just a fun anime. It wasn't made to wow people with its original idea or anything like that. This anime is made to be a balls to the wall generic isekai. It was obviously just made to be a guilty pleasure anime. Something that was not made to be dissected or analyzed, but just made to be fun to watch.
This anime is not for everyone. If you can't stand to watch a generic as can be anime and like to watch something more emotional or impactful and masterfully made then stay away from this anime. This anime is for people who just like mindless fun.
Conclusion:
This is a generic anime. The plot is basic (the main character has to fight an evil person to save the kingdom), the art is not bad but not great either, the sound effect is okay and the character is just every anime character trope ever. But I still enjoyed this anime quite a bit.
